Really nice set of side hustles. The best thing is that you can today make money out of everything. You just post your content on social media and use some tools to give it a starting dose of views and likes, so it's get easier into the loop. After that, it becomes really easy to make money.

Hi Mark, I would like to see more content of actually pursuing one of these side hustles. Take a side hustle idea, take the minimum amount of money you think is needed, and document the process of actually doing it. I know you have done a lot yourself and don't need to prove you can do it to anybody, but documenting the process may make it more accessible for those wanting to start but not knowing the proper order. For example, flipping items online. How to pick the item, how to clean it up and take better photos, and post it. Answering questions like "When do you need to set up a business license for it?" and questions similar to that along the way would be great advice as well. Personally, I flip cars on the side and it is great and the money is decent, but I don't know how much I can make before I need to create all the legal structures for it. I have a few more ideas but I think that is the one I want to see most.

Hi Mark, in regards to critiquing your work, I have a few things to say, first of, I am relatively new to the channel, but I was instantly hooked, this is because you stand out from all the other financial TH-camrs, you do this by showing that you are not trying to make any money out of us, the viewers, mainly by showing that you already have enough money and income for the rest of your life, showing that what your doing is honest, you also stress the importance of the right mindset, and how to maintain it, I love how clear and concise you are when explaining things, giving real examples, and having a great editor to visually explain it, though I do think that sometimes we need more to see visually, each step, not just chunks, but broken down further, to make everything clear, as far as videos go, I like when you look into particular side hustles, and then actually invest in them, my favourite is the one where you sold the blank daily planners, and I like to see when you show is how you earned your money, although an improvement to this would be to show how you can alter it to other scenarios. And i like your videos explaining tax, and index funds, and those types of things, but I would like to see more information about it to build a foundation of knowledge for people, and also examples of how you can use and abuse these things as much as possible, and how you have used them to gain more money. It is a great channel, just small improvements that can gain you everything, and really help your viewers.

Hello, I have been watching your videos for the past 7 months and I have learned alot from your videos on the finance topic. You actually give good directions with those strategies based on your own experience with using them. What I want to tell you about this video is that it can go farther helping people out by going in depth with the tools or websites to give them a good head start. I also want to see how you can budget from different levels of finances, which would be expense and income, especially for people with different skill sets on finance. I have noticed your editing and your body language when doing business is serious when explaining to everyone the sort of ways to make what can later on become 'passive income'. Making money with a brain and heart will take you big in life.

    Few suggestions for videos:
    1. A video on when to quit your job; how to know when is your time to start your own thing, is it better to start a side hustle before quitting or going all at the start.
    2. How to price your service the right way when offering it to strangers; should u give free trials, discounts when starting out etc., when to rise prices and how to retain clients and make them pay more, charging per project vs commission vs per hour?
    3. How to optimize your social media; how to get most out of content u watch if your goal is to build a great mindset, learn a new skill, be inspired, suggestions for best channels to follow, green flags and red flags to watch for when deciding to trust an influencer on their career/money advice.
    4. Video about how you actually start a service based business from scratch and make x amount of money in 7 days or more.
    5. Surrounding yourself with likeminded people; how to network, meet interesting and successful people in your early 20s, finding a mentor and business partner; should u do business with your friends etc.

Hi Mark, maybe it's just me but I think some of your best videos are the slow burners, ones where you've shown over a longer period of time how something works. For example, when you've given a beginner investor a small amount of money and guided them how to increase their returns. In particular the video with Tom a couple of years back was entertaining and informative. I'd welcome more videos like this and I'd be happy to try and critique a video for you.

I loved the video where you gave $1000 to a beginner investor and provided them with some basic (yet helpful) knowledge. Would be awesome to make a series of that. Examples could be, giving a stranger "x" amount of money and providing knowledge of a side hustle and let them work on it for a month then talk about the experience after. Could do this for a wide range of side hustle ideas. Love the content Mark ❤

Hi Mark (and team), I watch every single video of yours. Last year I even went back and watched from the very beginning. I can see the content itself has changed massively. The high quality graphics have been an absolute game changer. I would say as far as criticism, I would make sure to keep the timed bar on the majority of videos when talking through different subjects. (Could that also be useful for the TH-cam pod too? Although it was noted that the timeline of the video on the pods has that covered) I also think that if you did a video like this, you could split them into lots of different types of videos following on from this one. E.g, you mention all avenues of income creation, then you could do 3 extra videos, with a video covering each one. So essentially you see this one idea turn into multiple forms of content, and also to be distributed on tiktok, instagram reels etc.
Let me know what you think. Always happy to help you guys out 🙏

This video provides valuable insights into the world of online side hustles. While it gives viewers an idea of the types of side hustles to consider, there's room for improvement in terms of providing actionable steps to start each side hustle. Sharing the initial steps required to kickstart each side hustle would greatly enhance the video's usefulness.
It would be beneficial to include practical advice such as how to set up an online presence, where to find clients or customers, and resources to learn the necessary skills. By adding these specific starting points, the video could serve as a more comprehensive guide for those eager to dive into the world of online side hustles.
Overall, your content offers valuable information, and by incorporating these initial steps, you can provide even more practical value to your audience. Keep up the great work!

As someone who recently discovered your channel, I have found myself taking notes especially on videos about financial literacy. I believe your action-taking videos that give us an honest raw layout of what to do exactly to make money are incredibly helpful, and get more traffic because it gives the audience exactly what they look for in this day and age: quick ways to make money. Although the results won’t be quick, the fact that they’re taking action is enough motivation. More videos pairing financial literacy with the “get rich quick” would gain the most traffic.

Hey Mark ! I'm just starting out myself trying to find ways to help me and my family, gather skills for my future as of the age of 14. I think a great idea for a video series would to actually start from scratch (to some extent), start with $1 and use these side hustles / investments to keep earning more and more, carrying the fund over to the next side hustle. For example, might do content critic which has no risk as no money is involved but you dont make as much as you would, anyway then you would move onto a higher risk side hustle and keep going. By then end of the series if you have not gone bust and came with a profit, all the money from the series is donated to helping the homeless / foodbanks. Thanks Mark I have been watching you for sometime really do enjoy your videos !

Brilliant side hustles Mark, and some great advice for up and coming entrepreneurs. I am a self taught 3d artists, I learned everything I know from TH-cam and reading books. It would be great if you made an episode to show people how they can become 3d artists as the industry has lucrative incentives. They can learn for free using software called Blender, 3d artists can be hired by studio's, freelance, or start their own companies that can cater for content creation, product visualizations, architectural visualization, company video's, vfx, game development, and even sell their own digital 3d assets. It's a fantastic industry to be in, and if a person gets joy out of creating, it is a very rewarding industry to be involved in. Have a fantastic day and all the best to you, the family and the team 🙂

Hi Mark, Love the video. I love the pyramid diagram and how it works and how you explain the different methods. I think the one way to improve the videos is maybe by taking a real life example for each method or also find ways that you can mix and match different methods. This is as these are side hustles which would often have to be done alongside another field of work.

  • @randomdude7386
    @randomdude7386 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Hey Mark, I actually have an idea for a series you could do, you take a skill that can be monetized and learned, and you paper start a business in that, you show the essentials to that thing and give some insights to what you and your team think.
Like, lets take the website making segment you had in this video series in the episode on it, you'd start out by explaining how hard it is to learn the different ways to do it. Next step would be getting the business started. Obviously you would need a portfolio site where you go over board a bit to show that you dont use straight up templates but rather build your own site in a style matching the purpose.
And by the end of the series you teach us a lot of small things that either are generally life lessons or just good for business as a sort of B plot to the episode.
In the website episode you expect us to understand design, so it makes sense to either follow it up with an episode on design or do the design episode first, instead the B plot would be about learning to not set wrong priorities. In the design episode you could give a lesson on psychology and confidence.
At the end if you do only one of the businesses, you as the viewer have gotten a good point to start at from its episode, if you watched the series and grow from there you can become successfull if you didnt consume mindlessly but listened.

The videos where you set a challenge for yourself to start one of the side hustles so that you can "put your money where your mouth is" so to speak are fantastic
It has given me inspiration to start putting a couple of e-products out there because... why not, it doesn't cost a cent.
If you could do more of this style video for more of these side hustles that would be awesome. Of course there is limitations and you aren't selling "Get rich quick" bull crap. But just seeing that it works on even a microscopic level can get people, including myself, to get off thier ass and make the first step.

Great video as always. There is absolutely nothing to criticize.
I think that most of us are right now too scared to start a side hustle after just learning about it. So it would be great if you would give us more information about these .
Here some of my video ideas for you:
    1. A video where you talk about the mindset of actually starting one of these side hustles. For example: what it takes to actually start making money with it or how to stop being scared about failing and all other kinds of stuff people are scared of.
    2. A kind of tutorial on how reach out to your potential clients of these diffrent side hustles. Also i think it would be great to show how and where to find clients.
    3. How to start learning the skills for some of the side hustles you talked about
Please reach out to me or atleast give me an honest reply about this comment.
    Thanks.

    Hi Mark,
The idea of being a Content Critic really appeals to me. I watched this video all the through and I’m ready to give you feedback.
    Pros:
The information in this video is really valuable. I feel like every point was laid out well and easy to understand. I also like the time stamps in video. It allows the viewer to go back and review certain points the appealed to them most. I also like the way you reference certain times in your life where these side hustles has helped you the most. I feel it builds a deeper connection with the audience and makes them more likely to be a returning viewer.
    Cons:
There are very minor things about this video I feel could benefit from being changed. The first thing being the writing down the bottom left, more specifically the timer thing moves along and shows the viewer how long is left in each topic. The problem with this is I find my eyes darting down throughout the video. If you change it to duller colour so it doesn’t stand out as much i feel I would be able to focus on the video a bit easier. But that could be just something that bothers me and not the majority of people.
    Thanks for reading

Hi Mark, This is something I see fairly often even with my own parents, like my dad.
He has awesome and rare skill in coding yet he works for a company earing a good 5k per month, I try to teach him your teachings to make more money and reach financial freedom, but he always says "my time is gone, now its yours" / "I had my time to try but now I cant" / "It takes too much time and I have to quit my job to try any of those"
I think making a video for people who are already old and see no chance of growing any more due to their ages would be something amazing, its not really a critic but a video idea, finding methods to reach financial freedom that applies to those who's risk tolerance are way lower than needed to go above and beyond and doesn't have the confidence to leave their job.

Hey Mark! I think a great content idea would be a video on how to balance social/ personal life with business. I know that many people, including myself can become overwhelmed with the idea of making money, and the accumulation of it can consume them. I would love to see content like this, thanks for reading, and i hope to hear back from you :)

Hi mark I really enjoy your content and how you explain everything so simply so that even people with no experience in the game can understand. Id like to see you do a series of videos where you find someone with no experience and give them £1000 to invest in whatever they decide while giving them advice and see them go up against a more seasoned person with same amount of money. You could even do several episodes having people invest in different areas so that people can get more of an understanding in every field

Love your videos. If I was going to improve or add a little more to it I would suggest mentioning what particular skills one should learn in order to achieve some of these side hustles or how to get started. For example being a high ticket closer, I'd mention the skills needed to be a salesman beyond "just the gift of gab" and also a quick nudge to where to look to build those skills and find those clients. Doing that for each side hustle on the list would probably increase the video length by 4 or 5 minutes or make separate videos focused on that. Either way would certainly add some more to what your channel offers. Even though I'm sure u discuss these things in your discord many may not go to the discord

Content feedback would be more videos showing step by step how you start these side hustles like your one about selling amazon books. I really like the hands on content and recommendations of products or services that can help on the way. Anything actionable is deluxe!

As always great content that feels more genuine than others that try to talk about the same things. Honestly I would love to see more in depth videos one things like Real Estate investing, or even things about more advantages and disadvantages of different types of Trusts, and investing accounts. You touched on these in the past but It could benefit a lot of people to do a deeper dive.

I will happily be your content critic, instead of asking for payment, I’d love to spend a short time with you over zoom and rack your brains pls! Good luck! 👍🏼

Hi Mark, I've been following the channel for a couple of years now and I can say I'm a fan. You have some videos that approach the money making from scratch theme, however what I feel like is missing is the guidance part. Most young adults and adults up until 35 yo don't really know what they want to do, and even if they do, often they don't know how to go about it. Jim Rohn talked about this, the mindset changes that need to occur so that we're ready for opportunities when they come. Given your experience I believe you're in a position to mentor most of your viewers in this subject. Additional content suggestions include:
    - how can skilled/educated people stand out from the crowd (self promoting etc) in the job market;
    - foreseeable world market/world economic future changes from your perspective;
    - mentorship programs (direct connection with you as a personal/financial coach)
I'm also applying for the content critic segment of the related video, I'm starting a family and renovating our familiy home, so money has gone out the door way too fast. Yes I'm honest. Cheers to all on the team.

One thing that I wondered about when watching a more recent video of yours today, was this: which investing tips only apply to the UK and which ones also apply to the US, particularly regarding investment account policies? Differentiating and defining these when something is country-specific, or even clarifying that it's universal, would be a very small but very helpful improvement because it eliminates mental barriers to action that viewers construct due to ambiguity.
Thanks for making amazing and inspiring content, Mark! Keep up the great work.

I'm taking my shot at the content critic.
    This Video:
1: The video has a lot of great knowledge. But little technical depth.
An example of this is in the web design section. Where you explain the difference between the teenagers.
Your concepts got across. But I wanted to know more about what coding a bespoke website entails or means.
However, I understand the video cannot be too long as most would get bored listening.
So I propose you put some links/sources in the description which can be bridges to people who want to pursue these paths further than just your videos.
    Overall:
1: People learn in different ways. And I believe that trying out live streaming will help you gain a wider audience and gain more intimacy with your current audience.
2: Continue giving your audience more "out there" knowledge. This lets you have less competition and more individuality.
An example being that before this video, I had no clue content critics even existed.
Also Mark, thank you for helping my mindset shift from consumer to producer.
    Sincerely, Nicholas.

Hi Mark, I absolutely love your videos there so informative and helpful, now to take your channel to the next level I would love to see a guide on your perspective of how you would go about starting one of these side hustles and the steps you’d personally take as your an older more experienced successful business man and I’m a younger ambitious guy so taking both our perspectives I believe the best decisions can be made.
Also I know this is ridiculously critical but at 11:45 there’s a sunlight mark pattern on the bottom of your glasses that could distract some people from your important messages in the video. Furthermore, I think you talking slower is great for some people but for me I tend to watch your videos in x1.25 and make notes to review at the end so I’m more efficient with my time, maybe you could give a small guide at the start of the video on ways to gain the most from it depending on who you are (was trail and error for me as I sped the video up to 1.5x but it was then too quick and not an efficient use of time) so maybe a guide saying to write key points I say down to remember and then plan your to do list so you actually take action as I’m struggling to take action on the great information you are giving and that I believe can change with a few tips like a to do list.
I’m an aircraft engineering apprentice which I love but I do want to build a successful side hustle (again after my TikTok of 480k was banned) because my shift pattern is 4 days on 4 days off so I have 4 days off to put in action to build a successful skill to then build a side hustle from like I did with my TikTok account. I’d love to help out with further video critique on my days off, I’ve watched a lot of TH-cam and more importantly videos in your niche so I believe I have some of the skills to meet the requirements but more importantly I’m very self motivated which would allow me to develop my skills of constructive criticism quicker. Me and my mates always use constructive criticism to help each other develop like in the gym I say when my mates have bad form etc.
Thank you so much for reading if you do and thank you for your videos, they help me so much in my goal of financial freedom :)

Myself along with several friends are all in this boat where we have so many ideas, we have funding within arms reach, but can’t quite connect the dots. It could be a step by step series on the order you should build a business in. E.g. do you start with a website first, or just keep it simple with phone calls and door knocking. How important is are different types of advertising, what’s worth putting a good chunk of your budget towards?
This would help heaps! Also happy to work with you and give any feedback that myself and young entrepreneurs alike could utilise!

This is a very clean video. Super well made, good transitions, excellent pacing to engage the viewer. Having the attention span of a golfish myself, I appreciated the quick and constant camera angle switches as well as the moving parts to keep my attention. I think the only things that could potentially be improved are the start of the video and the end. The information comes in too quick and ends very abruptly. I'd be more than willing to provide some examples of other youtubers who make similar content or even make an intro and autro guideline/template myself.

As a big fan of this channel and been following a while it’s super informative and what I’d love to see would be for you to try some of the side hustles you actually mention in real time from the start as a fresh say new person.
Would be great to see your knowledge, insights and experience in play and watching it happen.
As I believe many of the side hustles are definitely possible to grow progressive wealth but many videos in other areas of TH-cam are more clickbait but I think you could really show all the viewers how it’s done and show everyone how to make it happen and to be persistent and not give up in the hard times.

All these ideas are amazing, but 90% of people wont take any action thinking its not going to make them money or they are just straight up lazy. If you took a bit more time into making one of these and tried your best in making one of these where you try every side hustle for 2-3 days and see what you make and share your results, experiences and more. I feel like this would be a lot more helpful and get a lot more people of their buts and started. (But thank you for the video)

A great idea for a video would be a list of some occupations or side hustles that don't require the use of interent or any electrical device because, in my honest opinion, in some countries physical or non digital jobs are a lot more sought after. Great video!
Video suggestion: what are the things that change when I invest in the company I work for?
    Explanation (true story):
I already told my boss I want to invest in the company and he is (almost) convinced.
The thing that is going to change (says my boss) is how I am going to look at my colleagues. So we first have to figure out who says what, who does what, what are the different people responsible for, who is in the real charge, etc.
Colleagues are also going to look differently towards me (possitive and negative).
The company is 16 years old, 25 employees, tomorrow I work there 1 year, 2 colleagues work here 10 years, and I am 27 years old.
    Cheers Mark!

I think videos on side hustles are great and all, but I would love to see you adding in, how much time it would take a day to uphold a side hustle.
Most peoples reality, and my own, is working for 8-10 hours a day and then theres transport to and from work. It can seem daunting and overwhelming to start a second income stream, if you don't have an idea on how much time you're going to spend on it every day.
The content critic caught my attention, especially because I thought the feedback would come from the comment section, and because I think it would fit into my schedule, between work and family...
