Hey, I’ve got a question please. I published a book in the U.S. with a publisher and sold 3,000 copies, earning 10%. Then I worked with GloboScript, who translated and marketed it in French for $990. By publishing on Amazon, I made 60% per sale and sold 3,630 copies in France, earning 6x more.
Now I’m wondering-should I do the same for Spanish and German with GloboScript, or sell the rights to a local publisher like my U.S. publisher suggests? They say the quality’s better, but isn’t earning 6x more worth it?
Hey sorry for late response. You tell the US publisher to offer better %, I believe you ask this because you know long term, that would be your preferred option. However if you still have all rights to everything, then publish with all of them
Hi! Thanks for sharing this video. I'm based in Dubai and I was planning to do a recipe ebook. I came to know that UAE is not in the list of countries that's supported by KDP. I would like to know do I need to share my actual location while publishing my ebook on KDP? I will have to use my bank account in India to get the payment so will it be a issue for me if my actual location is Dubai and my account number is India based? Please do help ❤

Hi, if you have a valid address eg shipping address from courier service, you can use that to signup for an account of that country, just make sure to verify with passport if ever asked, as for bank, amazon allows using multiple banks from different countries, personally have uk and us bank linked

hello, Address, for your account can be from any country..
tax will be charged based on your country of citizenship, mostly 30% for non US residents.

That depends with the bank you linked to Amazon, if you using US Bank, it will be paid from the US amazon office

Hi, I'm from Romania. When I created the KDP account, they also asked for my bank details. At that time I only had the RON currency configured on wise. I transferred USD from the ron account. Now on wise I have two currencies RON and USD. I tried to add this currency as well, I chose Romania and I received the message: You already have a bank account for this country or region. Do you still want to add it? Is the account number the same for both currencies? I don't think I can add another country, because it asks me for a valid address. I think I have to pass my real address data. Thanks for any clarification.
To add the US bank bank, you have to choose USA as country, for the bank even if you are in Romania or another place, the reason it says you already have this account is because it's showing that you trying to add a second bank from same country

firstly taxes for usa will automatically be taken by amazon. as in regards to your country, you handle your own taxes, if your country does require you to pay taxes for money you earn,then it's now upto you to actually reveal you earn money through this business
After set up do you get a card becuse how are you going to withdraw or can this wise account now be attached to your local card
there is no need for card as once funds are in your wise account, you can send to local bank directly..card is optional and not available for all ccountries

Hi does it work for Zimbabweans
if you already have a kdp account, you need bank from kdp supported country, and thats where Wise or Payoneer come in as they provide you with banks from various countries without you been there, eg USA Bank, singapore,uk etc. You then add these to kdp.. so kdp pays to your wise account, and you be sending the money to your bank from there

Hello sir, I am from India, it is like a poineer account for that.
yes its similar to payoneer however, its super fast when it comes to payments and to get bank details, you just make a $20 deposit which you can instants withdraw. Unlike payoneer that requires receiving atleast $100
New rules of transferwise and new people aren't getting any USD bank details specially if you are from India
