Awww Dave. That roof is perfection. Here in the US we have what’s called a ridge vent. It allows air flow through the roof ridge. Basically All you’d have to do is cut a piece double the width with each edge cut with the shingles. Then put over the peak and glue down. So half is on each side of the roof. It would look rounded at the top. It’s just a suggestion. I am excited to see the next phase. So fun. Hugs to all 🤗🤗🤗🤗
I have decided that I am going to recreate the feel of my old family home with this. That house was built in 1975 and this hose seems to have that feel, I had such fond memories of it and if I was in a financial position I would snap it up next time it comes to market. So the house is going to have a very British large family home essence to it, although it's not the same as the house on Dunsville Drive it definitely has that feel. 😘🤗🥰
I love watching you create! No matter what it is, I always find it so interesting, informative and inspiring. You are doing such an amazing job with this house. I’ve never created anything like it before. Another impressive project! 🤩 Hope you had a very merry Christmas with Vic and Brian!! Lots of holiday hugs to you all ❤️🤗😍
This is so much fun watching you put this together. It is really turning out great. And yes, shingles are a type of roof material and a disease too. Best to you..
Yeah that was my other option, however I wanted it to not take as long and whilst also looking fantastic, I hope my version didn't disappoint too much 🥰🤗😘
The roof looks really, really good ! Well done, Dave ❣️

I've had shingles more than once and but not on my roof lol 🥰🤗😘
Cut your straps in tiny squares and glue them overlapping. I hope that makes sense. For the ridge caps.
