I have the larger Xyron sticker maker and have used it so many times and the refills you can buy at Walmart online, I am very satisfied with it....thanks for showing another alternative
I'm going to try just using a sheet of silicone with my sticky specks sheets. I like the fact that it doesn't stick to the silicone. Thanks for the tip, Lisa.
That is pretty awesome. I had a Xyron Creatopia, but the springs broke, and what's even worse, Xyron obsoletes their tools almost within 5 minutes of them hitting the stores. No way to replace parts or buy more adhesive. This thing looks simple, could cover a decent sized die cut, and you could probably use any kind of sticky dot sheets to re-fill it. Thanks for the tip!
Same here😄 lovely way of presenting and like you say funny and lighthearted😁. Wonderful english!!! So jealous of people who can speak a second language with such ease as this. Ive just subd🥰
always entertaining ! I bought these sheets from Tessler at the stamp show in Tampa, I love them for the small intricate paper cuts , I have sausage fingers too and I get glue stuck on everything, and something stuck on acetate and a glue smear, it never comes off. so I recommend these. the little holder would be helpful too, I will check it out. I would just leave the sticky dots in it till they run out, the silicone top sheet should protect it I think.
Have enjoyed your fun hack videos lately. I experimented something myself recently with a blank return label from an HSN receipt...have a lot of those.😉 They are great to stamp on and cut easily in die cutting machines! You can color them then peel and stick them on your project. Saves a step too. Sadly, it won't help with vellum. Now I have to find either full size white label sheets (8.5"×11"). Should be economical too. I miss seeing you at shows. Take care.
I went online yesterday and purchased the Crayola sticker maker for myself for $12.90 including taxes. I also purchased some other sticker sheets similar to Sticky Specks. I told my sister about it and ordered hers too. I also have a 3 pack of pink silicone finger covers from the dollar tree. Thank you for the great information. I made sure to subscribe. :)
Scrapbooking made simple carries a product called micro sticky dots that reminds me a lot of what you are using (comes 8.5x11", 10 sheets per pack) and are clear. It works really good!
Avery company makes sticker paper, Hobby lobby carries sticker paper, so you could actually cut those up to fit too, probably lots cheaper than the Sticker Specks.
Love your new haircut. It DOES make you look thinner and younger! Those replacement sheets are called Sticky Specks. I think you don’t even need the little tool. If you just peel back the top sheet as far as you need and then slip the die cut in, replace the top sheet and burnish it with a credit card or bone folder, etc, I think that will make your sticker. In any case, thanks for the video. I really like this. I have the small Xyron but often my die cut is too big and won’t fit. My favorite use is for vellum, so thanks for testing it!
Went for it because I was so frustrated just using dots (from the quilting with die cut). My quilting project came out beautiful but the dots drove me crazy - really sticky fingers - I only like sticky fingers when it is from barbeque sauce. Thanks for brightening my day and my world.
rock paper scissors on amazon you get 100 sheets 8 1/2 x 11 matte finish and then you can get the removable sticker to use for masks :) also 8 1/2 x 11 and 100 sheets right now for about $18.00
The store Scrapbooking Made Simple sells sticky dot sheets for good prices you can find the company on line... they just do not ship too quickly since they are in California and still following strict operation guidelines due to COVID shutdown orders. Their product might be a good replacement product for you. thank you for shopping around to find a different product to make stickers.
Xyron makes a large sticker machine that you can use different cartridge sizes for the machine.. You can also use repositional cartridges in that one machine.
appears to be a great hack. I have various sizes in the xyron line so use that on vellum. I doesn't show like the Sticky Specks.....Speck as in little dots. They got creative with the labeling using the "S" for both words..top and bottom. Very cool you share these finds with us. I am still looking for the round rubber cleaner and Paint edger in Dollar stores. No luck yet.
I have the Sticky Dots from SMS and love them. They are not colored dots, but do show through vellum. May I suggest that you may need to put adhesive behind the entire piece of vellum ( using a sheet of double sided tape) so there are no interuptions in coverage to show through on the right side. I would apply the double sided tape sheet to the back of my vellum (so a big portion of the vellum sheet is a sticker) before cutting out my shape with a die.
Lisa, you have the start of something wonderful here, they sell sheets of sticky micro dots, you don’t need the Crayola one, just a s.I one sheet, and bone folder or something. Thanks for the great beggining, I have 2 Xron, refills are very expensive chores any size Xron that has refills, some are one time use only, then go in the trash. Will be on. Andy Stsmps Sat the 27th, see you there.
Enjoyed watching, but I really like wet adhesive and am quite happy using Art Institute Glitter Glue with their fine-tip applicator and stainless steel pin closure. The sticky dot concept reminds me of a product from back in the day called Studio Tac which came in both re-positional and permanent versions. Nice things about that product is it came in a pad allowing the top release paper to stay in place, so you only lifted and peeled back the area you wanted to use, plus it was easy to store. Not necessarily recommending, just saying it may still exist.
I also use A. I. Glitter glue. I have some sticky sheets but always reach for my ARts Institute Glitter Glue first. By the way everyone, it’s not used just for glitter. Thanks Susan for your comment.
HI THERE. I WANTED TO TELL YOU THAT I LOVE LOVE LOVE THOSE STICKY SPECS. YOU CAN USE THEM OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I OPEN UP THE TOP LAYER AND PLACE MY STICKER I MADE ON TOP OF DOTS AND THEN PUT TOP ON AND RUB. THEN YOU JUST TAKE OFF WITH TWEEZERS. THANKS FOR THE VIDEOS.
Lisa you look great 👍🏼 love the hair 👏 yes I have the X sticker maker, only use for the little ones ... this is such a great video !!! Thanks for sharing sweetie 👏👏👏 be well, and take good care 🤩🥰🤗
I love these types of tips, Lisa! I am thinking that instead of the Crayola sticker maker, one can take a silicone sheet, sticky specks, a clipboard and a brayer together to get the same effect. Thanks for your brilliant creative tips!.
All you need is a brayer, which I have in various sizes and a sticky specks sheet since the sticky specks already provide a non-stick sheet to prevent sticky dots to stick to the brayer. My answer is no, I won't waste money on the crayola toy. But I wasn't aware of the sticky specks and the principal was handy to watch. Therefor thank you for this inspiring video. :)
Good idea. I have purchased the Xyron and also sheets of Sticky Dots by therm-o-web. I don't like either one because if you have a die cut with a "hole" in it (think the loop in a cursive e, for example) the adhesive is like a spider web and you have to get it off before you can use your die cut. And they both get all over your fingers. If these avoid that "web" of adhesive, it seems they would be so much easier to use.
By the way, congratulations on knowing more than one language! I certainly wish that was the case for me! That Silly Scents tool would be so much fun to use! It would always make me smile when I use it!
Good information, thank you... I think the sticky peck, I think the S is trying to be the S for both sticky and specks I have a zyron sticker maker, and I get the refills easily and use it often.
If you go to Scrapbooking Made Simple, she has sheets of micro dots. If I am remembering correctly, it is 10 sheets, and it is 8 x 11. I do it the way she demonstrated (pull the liner back and put my die cut or whatever on it) then put the liner back over it and rub. You could do the same thing with those sheets though and cut them to fit in the sticker maker. The SKU # is 611150 and it is $9.99. It is a mom and pop shop so it takes awhile to get your order because they are on skeleton crew due to the restrictions the state has put them under.......... Add on Scrapbooking Made Simple also sells a lot of flat roll tape. I haven't purchased it (yet) but I am under the impression it is good stuff. I agree with someone else's comment on here that, putting adhesive on the whole back of vellum is your best bet. Unless it is just a strip going across or something where you can wrap to the back of the paper and tape there. ☺️
Yes she does. Unfortunately if you need the item (s) within a certain amount of time, like in 2-3 weeks, you'll have to wait at least a month or longer. You may want to look elsewhere.
Another small mom and pop scrapbook store called “Scrapbooking made simple” has made micro glue dot sheets as well. The sheet size is 8x11 like sheet of paper. I believe hers are like $10 a pack. I have not bought enough any myself yet so I can not remember how many come in there.
Another product similar to the Sticky Specks by Ecstasy Crafts (a Canadian company as Lisa mentioned, that has a shipping warehouse in Ogdensburg, N.Y. so readily available to U.S. customers) is Grafix Artist-tac. It's a similar product with clear micro glue dots. It is permanent, but repositionable until it is burnished in place. The Grafix Artist-tac is available on Amazon (25 5.5"x9" sheets for $12.92) or from Joggles.com if you don't like to use Amazon. Just thought I'd add this in case anyone is having difficulty locating the Sticky Specks.
Great video, how cute is that toy, and it seemed to work so well...you could also try the Grafix Artist-Tac Dry Adhesive to see if it works in the crayola silly scent, which comes in packs of 25 - size 5x9 inches that also works on vellum, I think it’s around 25 dollars US on Amazon, which works out 1dollar per sheet, however you will get 2 sheets out of each sheet for this machine, so 50 sheets... it may also be a cheaper alternative and Grafix Artist also make other different sizes in the sheets.
This looks like a lot plastic that does what a glue roller does, too. And I am pretty sure that you will see those dots through vellum. That Xyron machine makes a clear glue, that is perfect for vellum. And there are more Xyron machines available that are wider. I recommend them, they are pretty good.
Great video. I have Sticky Specks and I like how with this kids toy that you can swipe the dots on your die cuts. I do you a lot of small die cuts and I like the results you got. I am going to order it. 😊
The sticker maker tool looks great! I wasn't happy with the cost of a Xyron, but the Crayola swiper and anti-stick mat looks perfect for my needs. It's the first time I've seen your channel, and I have just subscribed. I'm looking forward to seeing you make that lovely card! 😊
You will love Lisa’s channel. She is personable and most times funny and full of ideas for saving money. I find her stamps so unique and of the highest quality!
Thank you for the video. You always put a smile on my face and give such good advise. I love that you try to help your customers in many ways! It is very refreshing to see your kindness. My favourite way, when I remember, is to put double sided tape on the back of my cardstock before I diecut my images. Sometimes it's more difficult getting your diecut out of the die itself, but most of the time it works well and saves on all of the tiny intricate glueing. Just FYI, Ecstasy Crafts sells to the USA also. I had no idea until I moved from Toronto to MA. In the USA it is just "ecstasycrafts.com" instead of "ecstasycrafts.ca".
You are so cute, and very nice haircut. Sticky SPECKS Are very sticky but work well. Use the release paper to rub your die cuts to the dots. Thank you for the tips.
Lisa you should get credit and make your links provide a bit of income for you! Love your haircut and your many talents! Just bought your entire spring release!
Hello Lisa, I use Xyron sticker makers. You just have to make sure you have the right size Sticker Maker. I get them from HSN. It works very well and last.
I use double-sided adhesive sheets. The thing with Vellum is you need adhesive over the entire thing so that it's all the same and nothing shows. That's why people suggested the xyron sticker maker. But I hate that you spent that much on it. If you just get double sided adhesive sheets then peel back one side of the release paper put your die cut on there put the release paper back over it cut the whole thing around your die cut burnish it with your bone folder and peel the release paper off both sides. Super easy and very inexpensive. It does exactly what your Crayola machine does but the only tool you need is a bone folder or anything to burnish and some scissors
I forgot to add: Double sided tape is sold in flat sheets and many size rolls. 1/8" up to like 6" wide rolls. I bought mine from ElizabethCraftDesigns.com, but they sell in a number of places now in the USA. Ecstasy Crafts in the USA has "Be Creative" brand name ones. So they probably have it for Canada!
You are so cute! I just subscribed because you put me in such a good mood, thank you for that! I kept thinking, I hope it works too! 😉👍🏼❤️ I was happy for you when it worked for you, yay! You were doing great hon, they are called Sticky Specks.
you could use Grafix Artist-tac sheets. you get 11x17 sheets for around 27 $, they also have 2 different other choices too. this is a wonderful idea. thank you.
i just caught your video about this sticker maker and i like the idea of using it for those sticky dot sheets! Guess where I'm heading in a few minutes? Your hair cut is cute and laughed like a fool at you smelling those nasty smelling markers! Perfect!!!
This sticker maker costs $12 in Amazon but you can get a 5 inch xyron sticker maker for $15 which included 18 feet of permanent sticker paper and sells refills! I think the Xyron 5” is a better deal!
I'm using the sticky roll from a 5" Xyron machine someone gave me. I have the 1.5" so I assumed it would be easy.... what a nightmare. I tossed the 5" machine. It was nothing but a sticky mess that would not roll the sticky paper & covering paper simultaneously. I'll buy double sided tape when it's finished.
They are called Sticky Specks, BTW. The large S is intended to be at the start of each word. I know, weird "marketing" idea that isn't always obvious! Love the idea!
Therm-o-web makes sticky dot sheets - you can get them on Amazon. They are 8 1/2 x 11 sheets and you get 8 of them for $9.56. Free shipping if you have Prime.
I ordered the Crayola sticker maker but not the Sticky Specks because I was afraid that my intricate dies would tear when taking them off. I ordered instead the Therm-O Web sticker sheets, both from Amazon. I have the larger Xyron sticker makers but the adhesive sheets lost the sticky part which made them useless. Not sure if refills are even available for these.
Love finding out about Sticky Specks since it works with vellum and a nice price. Bangs work for you, I like your haircut! The Crayola toy is not for me. I got a big laugh when you smelled the scented markers ... I agree with you ... LOL
This is the first video I have watched of yours. You are very pretty, I wouldn't worry about your face looking thinner. Anyway, I enjoyed your video, so I subscribed. I am not even sure what you do on your channel, yet. I just started crafting, but I may learn something from your channel, I can use. I looked through your videos, and they look fun. I do want to get into doing some paper crafts, as well.
I have the larger Xyron sticker maker and have used it so many times and the refills you can buy at Walmart online, I am very satisfied with it....thanks for showing another alternative
I ordered the Silly Sticker maker. Thank you for the information.
Have a Happy Day!
I’ll buy the sticky specks and press it down with a silicone mat. Great idea, Thank you for sharing.
I'm going to try just using a sheet of silicone with my sticky specks sheets. I like the fact that it doesn't stick to the silicone. Thanks for the tip, Lisa.
Great demo and I love your haircut! Keep up the great videos!
Great idea! I just ordered mine. I've had the sticky specks for 2 years. Now they will be used. Thank you for sharing this!
BTW, I love your hair!
Definitely will order this and the sticky specks. I love this idea rather than liquid glue on such detailed images. Thank you so much!
I don't know what rubber-stamping is and I don't know how you came up in my feed but you are hilarious! Seriously, you should do stand-up LOL!
Hi sausage fingers, here is the video, no more "Sticky" fingers. You will like it. th-cam.com/video/-vKYrJgMi38/w-d-xo.html

I've always thought you were thin. Your face is beautiful! Don't be so hard on yourself, Lisa. You're beautiful.
Cute haircut Lisa!
Thank you.
Oh my gosh that would be great for intricate dies.
This was fun :) I never heard of micro dot sticky papers before! I need to try it out :)
Great tutorial. Thank you for sharing. I put one of these sticker makers in my Amazon basket.
I received my sticker maker am considering getting a for my grand nieces. Thanks Lisa
Hi Michele, if you need the refill. I am recommend the artist tac. You can find it from Amazon.ca it is sticky but not super sticky.
Depends on your coloring medium, whether this is a good idea or not.
Love the stage and flower dies on card working on. It's so pretty!
Thank you for testing these products! Love your videos!
Went for it because I was so frustrated just using dots (from the quilting with die cut). My quilting project came out beautiful but the dots drove me crazy - really sticky fingers - I only like sticky fingers when it is from barbeque sauce. Thanks for brightening my day and my world.
I LOVE your hair and I've enjoyed your show!
Thinking outside the box, this would be good for the occasional sticker makers! Blessed and safe days!
How fun that you found this and tried it.
rock paper scissors on amazon you get 100 sheets 8 1/2 x 11 matte finish and then you can get the removable sticker to use for masks :) also 8 1/2 x 11 and 100 sheets right now for about $18.00
This is not the same products, she is talking about putting glue on a design she made, not printing out stickers on sticker paper
Soo cute! Love your personality!!
I agree. Just found her channel.
appears to be a great hack. I have various sizes in the xyron line so use that on vellum. I doesn't show like the Sticky Specks.....Speck as in little dots. Hi Debra, let me know when you place the next order and I can get one for you and send it to you.
8.5 x 11 sheets of sticky dots in pack of 10 sold by Scrapbooking made Simple in California for about $9. They work great
Thank you and I will share this information with my viewers.
Scrapbooking Made Simple sticky dots work perfectly with vellum also!
Lisa I love your hair AND your attitude! Great ideas!
I will definitely consider the crayola silly scents sticker maker. thanks.
Lisa, you have the start of something wonderful here, they sell sheets of sticky micro dots, you don’t need the Crayola one, just a s.I one sheet, and bone folder or something. I love these types of tips, Lisa! I am thinking that instead of the Crayola sticker maker, one can take a silicone sheet, sticky specks, a clipboard and a brayer together to get the same effect. Thanks for your brilliant creative tips!.
Cool tool!
All you need is a brayer, which I have in various sizes and a sticky specks sheet since the sticky specks already provide a non-stick sheet to prevent sticky dots to stick to the brayer. Oh no! I just bought a xyron, wish i had seen your great video first... waaaaaa 😃😃😃 TFS I'm gonna go & buy one
You made my day! Such an informative and amusing video!! I think it’s Sticky Specks.
I just ordered 2 sets on Amazon!! thanks for sharing
Haha. Did you get a good deal?
@@yanglittlewa I think so....$11 each
By the way, congratulations on knowing more than one language! I certainly wish that was the case for me!
That Silly Scents tool would be so much fun to use! It would always make me smile when I use it!
I am definitely interested in getting the sticker maker if for no other reason than it provides a sturdy bottom to the micro dots. Thanks Lisa
Good information, thank you... I think the sticky peck, I think the S is trying to be the S for both sticky and specks I have a zyron sticker maker, and I get the refills easily and use it often.

Another small mom and pop scrapbook store called “Scrapbooking made simple” has made micro glue dot sheets as well. The sheet size is 8x11 like sheet of paper. I believe hers are like $10 a pack. I have not bought enough any myself yet so I can not remember how many come in there.
Great idea to use a kid toy which is much less expensive.
You will love Lisa’s channel. She is personable and most times funny and full of ideas for saving money. I find her stamps so unique and of the highest quality!
That's lovely to hear! I'm sure I will. Thank you for saying hi 😊
Sizzix makes adhesive sheets. After stamping an image you place on sticky sheet and then die cut through big shot or another similar platform.
I probably won’t be buying the kids toys. I have the larger zyron machine and that works fine. But thank you again for sharing your talent and skill,
Thank you for the video. You always put a smile on my face and give such good advise. I love that you try to help your customers in many ways! It is very refreshing to see your kindness. You are so cute, and very nice haircut.
Sticky SPECKS Are very sticky but work well. Use the release paper to rub your die cuts to the dots. Thank you for the tips.
I would try an acrylic block (for photopolymer stamps) to rub a silicone mat over the sticker paper. Thanks for the great idea!
You look great!
Love your hair cut. Looks beautiful.
Great video! I have a lot of xyrons and refills so I probably won't buy the kid's sticker maker...very cool, though.
I found these types of sticky sheets from scrapbooking made simple site - not so sticky to damage your die cuts and slightly repositionable

Hi! I ordered the machine and the Sticky Pecks in a bundle on Amazon! 🥰
Awesome. Hoping you like it.
You are looking good Lisa!
You are so cute! I just subscribed because you put me in such a good mood, thank you for that! I kept thinking, I hope it works too! 😉👍🏼❤️ I was happy for you when it worked for you, yay! You were doing great hon, they are called Sticky Specks.
You look great.
you could use Grafix Artist-tac sheets. you get 11x17 sheets for around 27 $, they also have 2 different other choices too. this is a wonderful idea. thank you.
i just caught your video about this sticker maker and i like the idea of using it for those sticky dot sheets! Guess where I'm heading in a few minutes? Your hair cut is cute and laughed like a fool at you smelling those nasty smelling markers! Perfect!!!
Hi! New subscriber! How fun!! I need to order one for myself...thanks for the Tip!! Happy Easter !! 💗🐰💗
Welcome to LK.
You should try micro sticky dots paper. It is amazing.
Sticky Specks should work with a silicone sheet. Thanks for sharing.
They are called Sticky Specks, BTW. The large S is intended to be at the start of each word. I know, weird "marketing" idea that isn't always obvious! Love the idea!
I like your program thank you
I have the sticky specks and just put the cover sheet back over to burnish dies on the sticky sheet.
Most likely get the Sticky Specks. It looks like it works good. Love the hair cut. :-)
Love your haircut
Therm-o-web makes sticky dot sheets - you can get them on Amazon. They are 8 1/2 x 11 sheets and you get 8 of them for $9.56. Free shipping if you have Prime.
Lisa your haircut is adorable!
I ordered the Crayola sticker maker but not the Sticky Specks because I was afraid that my intricate dies would tear when taking them off. I ordered instead the Therm-O
Web sticker sheets, both from Amazon. I have the larger Xyron sticker makers but the adhesive sheets lost the sticky part which made them useless. Not sure if refills are even available for these.
I found the Sticky Specks is too gluey. It is hard to pick up the intricate dies.
Hi Lisa 💓 Oh I love your hair!
Love finding out about Sticky Specks since it works with vellum and a nice price. Bangs work for you, I like your haircut! The Crayola toy is not for me. I got a big laugh when you smelled the scented markers ... I agree with you ... LOL
im a new Canadian subbie from Alberta, tys this information
Awesome! Problem is these probably aren't acid-free so it would ruin artwork over time. If the Sticky Specks are acid-free that would be great!
Sticky Specks are acid free
You crack me up! From a fellow Canuk.
Hi hon, just viewed you for the first time. Omg I love you. You are sooooo funny lmao
Btw they do sell refills. I believe it Is walmart. $7.50
Graphix Artist-Tac is a good adhesive sheet. Repositionable until burnished and then permanent.
I questioned Crayola about refills. They said check out Grafix Artist Tac. Amazon, Blick art materials, michaels, joanns. Varying prices
Yes I got a pack of Artist Tac. It works just great.
FYI, Crayloa suggests using the Grafix Artist-tac, which Amazon sells, as a replacement...
