Videos like these are always a reminder to me at just how powerful a small and simple airgun can be. Most people when I show them one they just think it's and oversized kids toy. Then I show them power behind it and their eyes get big as they realize what they just saw.. Even my .22 cal air rifle is more than enough to do some serious damage and has penetrated 3/4" plywood. Not to mention they are some of the most accurate firing weapons I have ever used.
I've been making these myself for years. Just crush up the heads up strike anywhere matches and mix with a little rubbing alcohol to make a paste. Apply to hollow point pellets, let dry and enjoy

I wish they had this in .30cal. Looks like the largest caliber they have is .25 or 357. Update: I am fully aware that 357 is the same in some respects as 9mm. We used to drill holes in taters and jam fireworks in them... everything from black Jack's to m80s. Launched those sucker's from spud guns. Timing the thing to blow right before it hit the ground was peak steam punk anarchy 😂

It is on your back that has used a scuba divers compressor to put 2 to 3000 pounds per square inch pressure in that tank, now you can actually push a 50 caliber projectile with an exploded band no gun powder needed, and with those kind of pressures it will shoot for a very long time and rip through anything you can fire it at
The drohdz baikal blackbird was the funnest airgun ive ever used. Converted to compressed air with cheap bulk copper BBs, it was a formidable defense weapon against non armoured soft targets for sure.

They were the coolest sh¡t you could shoot (as a kid), they made a loud pop (like a firecracker) and small flash on impact, didn't do any extra damage but looked really nice and you knew immediately where you hit. Best effect is on cedar shingles, it penetrates, explodes, then lights the splinters on fire.

Go to a gun store and find the reloading primers. For shotguns. They fit perfectly on the tips of lead pellets. Explode on impact. You could hollow out a little lead and fill with gun powder. Fraction of the price.
Air gun not airsoft , the difference is airgun uses compressed air with a specific pellet made of metal like the ones at the beginning minus the orange tipped explosive and are mostly made to kill vermin like rats squirrels lizards and any small game , airsoft uses tiny round plastic pellets. But yea airsoft hurts but not as much as a airgun pellet would...

with one of those goofy older crossman or Daisy pump rifles what you do is you take a muzzleloader primer.. fill that up with candle wax so there's a little bit of overflow so when you stick it in the barrel.. there's just enough to seal it up in there.. wipe it clean.. lock it up and fire and THAT was my favorite thing to do for a little while there lol..

I can attest to a normal pointed pellet killing a squirl. I shot one yesterday that had been tearing up all my window screens for some reason, it was on a tree broadside to me about 50 yards, i snuck outside and aimed up quick and pop, it ran up the tree and immediately fell down to the ground. I hit it in the chest and it penetrated. I was surprised a little how well it worked. One of these exploding ones would have definitely done some worse damage to it lol probably pretty bad.

i'm not sure if you are referring to the pellet or the unit but 357 is 9mm and some change . and .70 cal is only 7 mm.

You can fire 'small' pistol or rifle primers from a 177 pellet rifle, and they'll actually crater mild steel targets when they explode.
It would be more informative if you compared them to the same pellet without the explosive.

How many shots can you get off before changing your co2..or compressed air? I'm not very into airgun. I've got reasonable firearms collection, but idk much about airgun not since I was a kid playing paintball and airsoft. I can attest to a normal pointed pellet killing a squirl. I shot one yesterday that had been tearing up all my window screens for some reason, it was on a tree broadside to me about 50 yards, i snuck outside and aimed up quick and pop, it ran up the tree and immediately fell down to the ground. I hit it in the chest and it penetrated. I was surprised a little how well it worked. One of these exploding ones would have definitely done some worse damage to it lol probably pretty bad.
6 inches of penetration with a pellet!...damn. I had a pellet gun as a kid and I like those flat head pellets.
