We have eliminated all the previous leaks on this Budget RV renovation. This upgrade to our Toyota Motorhome was a game changer and added that finishing touch we needed to keep us moving along!

I will admit, I thought you two would have given up on this project a long time ago when you found out how much work it was going to take (I wouldn't blame you if you did, I know I would have quit!)...... so to see how much progress you guys made, well, I give you two a lot of credit! Who woulda' thunk' you two would have ever made it this far? Of course, it took friends with time and skills to get you pointed in the right direction, my hat is off to all who have helped so far! I aint' gonna lie, I thought I was just watching a train wreck and expected a 100% fatality, but I am so happy that the doomed train was diverted onto a whole new set of tracks! I am so impressed and happy for your successes. I always have loads of questions on what's next and they keep getting answered as you just go for it and tackle all this work! It must be sooo satisfying to do all of this yourself!
The sourdough bread magic is always magical, and I swear I can smell it from here. Oh Yeah... "S O U R D O U G H"
Just remember to measure two, three or even four times and cut once as you continue on your restoration journey! Always looking forward to the next episode!

But seriously! you guys are our heros! .. We found ourselves in the most similar situation!! We bought a 1992 Tioga Montero -Ford E350, thinking it had minor water damage and it turns out .. not so minor after all. Literally all the walls are crumbling and moldy. We are inpired by you guys; that all things are do-able with enough blood, sweat and tears! haha @@JoeandEmmaLee

Nice job.. I'm curious though. How did you bend the radius's in the metal trim pieces? I was told it won't work. or at least it won't come out nice.
That’s a fair question. We felt working slow was the helpful, and kind of depends on how tight of a radius you’re working with. Either way, having a a rubber mallet or dead blow hammer will help if your long edge starts to buckle. Just lightly hit those spots if they occur. It is very easy to bend though. We just screwed one edge it and worked slowly around the radius.

Where did you get the metal trim from?. I bought some and it was to hard to bend.
We bought ours from a local Rv dealer in California. It was similar to what you can buy from RecPro.com. The bending is easier if the “leg” portion is shorter if that makes sense. If you need any other help let us know :)
