You can fit an Asus TUF 4070ti, an Nvidia FE 4080 or either of the AMD 7900 models in this case with this motherboard but without the bottom fans, which are totally unnecessary given how well those stock coolers perform plus the 1" of additional airspace below the bottom of the case that the GPU cooler can draw from. The Thermalright PA120 air cooler and a 5-pack of Arctic P12 PWM-PST is all you need for cooling the 7950, swap the 2 fans on the cooler with the P12's and install the other 3 on top bringing fresh air in which will put air into the CPU and the backside of the GPU... leaving the stock Prime fan installed to push air out the back. In the BIOS, jump into Advanced mode and then the Tweakers tab, select PBO and select the Enhancement / 80c or 70c option... you are leaving almost nothing on the table performance-wise (the 90c setting is actually faster than the AMD 95c default) and then just adjust your fan curves. The P12 fans are whisper quiet but move air through the fin stacks on the cooler better than the stock fans so the whole system should be nice and quiet even under load with either PBO setting enabled. With this solution you have no loss of airflow through the rad to cool the CPU, meaning more fresh air in the case for the CPU, plus you gain that 25mm x 360mm chunk of airspace without the rad and no hoses to deal with. Vertical clearance is not an issue for the dual tower coolers I've used in the case including the taller Deepcool AK620.

@@UnknownGamerish hi and yes, if you are using an SFX PSU, you can mount the 3rd fan infront at the bottom, but you will need to either zip tie is to another fan or to use Lian Li uni fan.
@@UnknownGamerish for the dimension of your PSU. it might work if you do cable management properly. you see your modular cables will be sticking downward, where your 3rd fan will be. you wouldn't want the modular cables to touch the fan blade. thats why i suggested to use SFX PSU. but yours should do fine.. as mentioned, cable manage your PSU modular cables properly.
I like your videos, you explain things really well, thanks! One thing I realized *after* getting all the parts (still waiting on the RAM), the PSU exhaust is inside the case. It was bugging me a bit, but I don't see anyone mention any excessive heat problems due to this, so probably not worth worrying about? ;) I also have a 360mm AIO with 3 fans in exhaust position (blowing air out of the case). I’m pretty bad at cable management which is why I opted for uni fans for the top of my case. I have a pair of deepcool fc120 fans at the bottom but the daisy chain cables are a bit too long so I can’t get them to fit snug and neat 🙁. The gpu is too close to your bottom fans due to the gpu being one slot lower. This could cause the temperatures to rise instead of dropping
Hi NGreedia, welcome to my channel. I see, thank you for sharing your experience with us. This will be great for those who slot their GPU one slot lower. I am curious though, normally the first PCI-E slot nearer to the CPU runs at full 16x but as for the bottom PCI-E slot will not. how come you choice to slot it at the second slot?
Honestly it's very hard to find cases that are not tempered glass. Any other recommendations other than this one? Fractal design ones are a bit too expensive for my taste
HEllo Ikaml Izzat Johari, welcome to my channel and Merry Christmas. There are other cases which are only with mesh side but they are expensive too. This is not very pricey and consider the structure of this case is worth paying if you ask me.
The darkFlash DLC29 is a full ATX all-mesh case that looks a bit like the AP201, or you can get on the backorder list for a Fractal North in black or white with the mesh side panel option. The Fractal Focus 2 has a solid side panel option though I don't know if they do mesh. On the ITX side I like the Cooler Master NR200 is a good option and is basically a miniature AP201 (or the AP201 is an enlarged NR200).,

nicely done - very informative. I am currently building in this case and length of GPU and size of the PSU must be checked if using a 360 AIO. If air cooling or using a 240 AIO then you can fit max GPU length. Luckily the 7900xt is about 3/4 of an inch shorter then the PSU cage so I could mount it any any position. Having a square PSU is ideal for this case as you will have max cable management area below the PSU. There is no wasted space in this case and I love it.
Hi exquisitemarkk, welcome to my channel it's at 180mm in lenght. the actual dimension of the Leadex Platinum SE 1200W from superflower. 180mm(L) x 150mm(W) x 86mm(H)
Looks good, but I'm planning to stick 4 2.5in SSD with 4TB each inside. I'll probably just remove the back fan and let the air flow from top to bottom. Then I'll flip the AIO around (If I'll buy an AIO). Move the PSU up. People will overreact about the orientation but a little bend on those hose doesn't really matter.

Hello Roland Villegas, welcome back. As it might block the 280 radiator. Alternative is to do aircooling. Thanks for the feedback 👍
@@Markesamwasfy Hi Mark, let me be honest with you. I normally stay away from argb fans. I have not tested the Corsair LL 120 fans but if these are the only two fans to choose. Hi Snow, welcome to my channel. Thank you for your feedback and to subscribed to my channel. Do take things at a time, just remember, every fitting do not require excessive force. All the best with your build too. 😉
I'll keep note of that!
Btw quick question, can you put 3 fans at the bottom?? I've been seeing some builds with 3 intakes and I'm planning to do that if it's possible by not drilling the case.
@@UnknownGamerish hi and yes, if you are using an SFX PSU, you can mount the 3rd fan infront at the bottom, but you will need to either zip tie is to another fan or to use Lian Li uni fan.
Ohh how about a PSU with 140 x 150 x 86 mm dimensions?
So the fan that's near the top of the PSU should pull the air out as it comes out of the PSU. I really like the case (got the black all-mesh version) so hopefully all the temps will be good.
Hi Emil -, welcome to my channel and thank you for liking my video. Yes this is a very well constructed case. The material used and the craftmanship is rock solid. by the way, thanks for sharing your experience. If you are having full mesh version. The temperature is all good, just need to take some care to dust of maybe once every two weeks to keep everything free from dust.
Hi this comes with sfx psu bracket to fit longer gfx card?
Hello Onero Uychocde, welcome to my channel. Nope, it does not come with the SFX to ATX bracket.
very nice and educative video before my first build with the same case ❤
Hi gzull90, welcome to my channel and thank you for your valuable feedback. All the very best with your build too. 😉
I really enjoyed your video of the different fan layouts. I’m going to do a build in this case next week and I found a way to vertically mount the GPU. I’ll do some thermal testing using you TYPE A fan placement and let you know if there are any improvements.
I will also be installing the ASUS 4080 Super Noctua edition.
@@rhoadeswr1 Hi and welcome to my channel. Thank you for your valuable feedback. Good to hear that you are trying something new 👍I love to hear from you too. Hey you mind drop me some pics to my email godzylatech@gmail.com. I am curious how it turns out too. Thank you! 😉
Hai Kleo.. nice set up.. I think it would be better if you move the psu intake , so the psu could intake fresh air from out side .. not hot air from inside the case..
Hi Dharmawan Adinata, welcome to my channel. This I do agree but due to the psu cable plug. I can’t orientated it that ways.
@@KleoYan OMG you should find a way ...😂😂😂
@@dharmawanadinata there is a way, get another extension PSU AC connector, that will involve addition cost.
Excellent video as always! I'll be moving to this case from a D30, which is not bad. But my country is of very hot weather, I strongly believe I'll have better thermals with this all mesh case.
Hello MorboHND, welcome back and thank you for the compliment. I believe it will help you cool down even further as I research the Jonsbo D30 case. All the very best with your build 😉
Where did you install the standoffs? I didn’t see you put them inside the case. When in the video do we do it?
Hi tdm17mn, welcome to my channel. The motherboard standoffs are there, you need not have to manually fix them.
On the ITX side I like the Cooler Master NR200 is a good option and is basically a miniature AP201 (or the AP201 is an enlarged NR200).,
@@TheYuppiejr thank you again for sharing 👍
Isn't that SuperFlower SF-1200F14MP PSU 200mm in length?
Hello locolama, welcome to my channel, you are correct of the model which is the Leadex Platinum 1200W SE but it's not at 200mm is at 180mm.. you can see the specs at their website specification. www.super-flower.com.tw/en/products/leadex-platinum-se-1200w
@@KleoYan Thank you for the reply. I have a 170mm long Seasonic unit in the top slot, and was trying to imagine how much space would be left for cable management in the bottom if I'd upgrade my NH-D15 to a 360mm aio. It really seems like a tight fit, especially with the Seasonic 24pin cable being of the round and braided kind, not flat like on the Leadex.
@@locolama I see. yes the fitting is pretty tight if cables are not flexible, this is part of the reason I have used this power supply to work with. infact most of my builds make use of flat cables. I dont like fat sleeve cables like the old corsair serious.
Can you get Ryujin II? Or EK new AIO?
Hi Kizzster, welcome back. I can try on Ryunin II if possible as for EK, I have tried.. they did not respond to me.. maybe my channel is too small.

Hello! Thanks for the detailed video. Could you tell me which PSU you are using?
Hi Abhishek Satish, welcome to my channel. I am using the Superflower Leadex Platinum SE 1200w www.super-flower.com.tw/zh-TW/products/leadex-platinum-se-1200w
im building in this case very soon, i will use 2x 140mm intakes on the top and 2 x120mm intakes from the bottom, Should i keep the stock output or should i change it to a fn with more umf?
Hi Linus Kvarndal, good configuration. Is ok you can leave the rear with default. As your top exhaust are 140mm which does most of the job 👍
The psu is mounted in the wrong direction. U have to mount with the fan facing outside for air intake. Exactly how other builders do in other videos.
@@d4nith3 hi welcome to my channel. Is
Not that I have a choice with this PSU. If I mount the other way, I can’t plug the PSU AC plug.

Hey man, I got a question: I don’t use 360 AIO, but mine is 280 and I put the PSU’Bracket at the first slot (My psu was FSP 1000W ATX 3.0 and the length was 150mm) and in next week I gonna order TUF RX 7900 XTX (size of the GPU is 352mm) and do you think it’ll fit in the AP201 case. Hope you gonna answer Thank You
P/s: I have the exact build like you
hi PLKay, welcome to my channel, so long your liquid aio 280 is not Arctic Liquid Freezer II, You will be fine.
@@KleoYan oh thank you. Mine 280 AIO is NZXT Kraken 280 so it’s will be fine then. Thank you so much
@@MG0301 You are most welcome, looking at the specs of the NZXT. it might be a tight fit as the radiator is 30mm thick and plus the fans. it will be 55mm which is just nice for this case. As I have mentioned so long the thickness is not more than 55mm. Hopefully the specs provided here are correct. nzxt.com/product/kraken-280

Nice build and very detailed information, im thinking of moving to this case while upgrading mobos and am4.
I wanna ask, i have a coolermaster sfx psu (small psu), do you think the included cable will be able to reach the mobo or i need to go for atx psu or mod the cables. Thanks!
Hi Ambushman, welcome to my channel. At first I tried the CoolerMaster SFX v850 but the eps cable is too short. If you are able to get an extension eps 8pin cable. It will be good to go, don’t need to spend the extra on a ATX psu.
@@KleoYan Thanks for the heads up, yea i can see that the eps has to stretch all the way to top of the case, ill do that then. Is there any other cable that need an extension in your opinion? since the v850 cable is very stiff, maybe some that needs a lil bit bending on the case.
@@agungxminamoto other than the EPS 8pin, the rest will stretch fine. 😊
Hi, I’ve watch fully all your videos regarding this case. Any feedback regarding dust accumulation through a long period of use? Thanks!
Hello Ikiboi's Art, welcome to my channel. Regarding about dust accumulation, if you do not do regular cleaning, there will be alot of dust in the case. I would advise to get a portal dust blow and to do weekly cleaning, That will not accumulate the dust inside the case.
@@KleoYan I see, I think I can manage with the regular cleaning, good suggestion on the dust blower. I will certainly do that.
@@ikiboisart you are most welcome. Try not to use those can air duster as those does spray liquid at times.. use those that are of electronic type of portal air duster which can be charged.
Hi Kleo Yan. Thanks so much for this video... all the shots and edits. Very good. I have one question, which you might not be able to answer. But here it is: Can the four feet at the base of the case be removed easily (are they held on by screws?). Thanks!
Hello Nik, welcome to my channel. remove the rubber that is on the feet. inside there is a screw which you can unscrew to remove the feet.
This case is quite good but I don't like that you will see through the mesh to behind when your wall is white color, the motherboard side is no need to use mesh panel
Hello T, welcome to my channel. I guess is up to individual taste and liking, but nevertheless, thank you for your feedback.
Can arctic LF2 280 fit in this case?
Hello Yrrel M, welcome to my channel, I have tested the Arctic LF2 280, not able to fit. It will hit the side VRM. not enough clearance.

nicely done - very informative.

Hello bassyey, welcome to my channel. Thank you for sharing and it will be great if you can share your findings after you have done the orientation you've mentioned. I am curious to know too. thanks again.
Nice case, great build/review. Good point about the AIO hose length fowling the rear fan. Would a 120 mm AIO on the rear of the case be a good fit?
Hi Wayne Hughes, welcome back. 120mm liquid AIO should not be a problem to fit at the rear. My thoughts if to use a 120 liquid AIO, might have to use a lower tier processor.
So nice to follow all the instructions and then I could build a similar PC with 7600 CPU and 6750XT PowerColor GPU. Thanks!

Maybe if you could use a 280mm a AIO you could move the PSU shroud higher and this could allow for bigger GPUs.
Hello Roland Villegas, welcome back. You are right about having a shorter size Liquid AIO, Infact a 240 or 280 with the same thickness will be able to bring the PSU shroud up. 240 should not be a problem but for 280 it depends on the height of the motherboard side vrm heatsink. As it might block the 280 radiator. Alternative is to do aircooling. Thanks for the feedback 👍

@@KleoYan but i have a question whos better Corsair LL120 or lian li infinity fans or lian li sl120 v2?
@@Markesamwasfy Hi Mark, let me be honest with you. I normally stay away from argb fans. I have not tested the Corsair LL 120 fans but if these are the only two fans to choose. I will go for the SL120 V2. Reason is, it's 28mm thick, which provides additional percentage of airflow (longer chamber style). Next, the SL120 V2 runs only at 0.17a as compared to Corsair LL120 which is at 0.30a . I always choose lower ampere fans (drawing less electrical current) and produces better airflow or static pressure.
