The team need to have it drilled into them that they are more than good enough to compete at this level. PW has built a Championship squad almost from thin air, and needs to give the team more confidence. One of these days, the side will 'click' and someone is in for a pasting.
You can try and drill that into players day in, day out and it won't make a difference. If they don't believe in themselves enough, it just doesn't matter.

Hundreds of midstream changes of manager that produces an upswing in performance and self-belief. Take Roy Keane for example, who took over at Sunderland, bottom of Division 2, and led them to win the league. And at our own club, the effect that Clough and Taylor had at a club that was going nowhere, and who repeated their magic at another 15 miles away.
