I want to have a lot of solar when I do a future build and I love the idea of stacking the panels and then being able to draw them out with the drill mechanism....genius! I want to research that fridge, I've never heard of Everchill. And that cargo rack in back, that was some deal! Did you see his bicycle, I was wondering what he rides? Carol you said this was going to be special and you delivered, Barry's van is something else. Thank you so much for sharing this tour. Take care now
my bicycle is a garage sale find. It is called bike E. It is a single recumbent bicycle. Occasionally you can see them on eBay for sale. The fun part of it is that it is unique just like the van.
I had never heard of that fridge brand either. But, if it was good enough for Barry.....
I see Barry answered the question about the bike. I now may have to check out that kind of bike. LOL
@@barrydickman3425 So, I did this!

76 sure ain't what it used to be🤣
Are you single Barry? Love your enthusiasm and knowledge and charm.
I am single and looking for a traveling partner.
@@barrydickman3425 would you be interested in helping me do my van build?
What part of the country do you live?
Whoa Barry! He's a Genius! You can tell he's a man with class! Love it Brilliant n well organized.
Barry is a true Renaissance man and such a gentleman too.
@@gloriouslifeonwheels3621 Amen to that!!
Incredible is all I can say. Beautiful. We can vanlife at any age. I love it.
So true Deborah. I have a video coming out jext week with a lady who just started full-time van life at 72!!
I'm 72 and I need a man just like him. I'm running out of time and I want to be a vanlifer - at least for a little while. I love these videos.
Carol, think a lot of ladies watching this video feel the same way about Barry🤣
Carol, what part of the country do you live in?
So beautiful!!!!! He’s wonderful!
Barry really is as lovely as he is smart!!
Wow, sure like the solar panel setup. Thank you for interviewing these interesting people. It’s a great resource for those who want to improve their own setups.
It really helps me too Jackie. Everytime I see brillant and innovative ideas I put them on my own list of things to do. At least the ones I can afford🤣
The solar panel set up was originally a manual set up. You will accomplish the same amount of gain at a fraction of the price.
Awesome.I am so proud of you and you are full of life!
Barry, you area delight and an inspiration! Thank you for sharing!
Brilliant job all around
this man is a genius and inspiration﹗
Yes ! Would love to see Barry's other Custom Van Items please 🤙
What an amazing and beautiful job he did but can we talk about that solar panel set up? THAT is absolutely brilliant! He just doubled his solar system. I’ve (I’m sure many will agree) never seen that before! Thank you for sharing.
Can you believe that solar panel set up!! I have seen hundreds of van builds, but I have never seen anything like this. Barry is going to be tired of hearing from me. Every time I need a brilliant solution to a problem in my van I am going to be calling him. LOL
@@gloriouslifeonwheels3621 Carol, keep an eye on Barry’s idea. Watch how it will grow as much and as quickly as the van life/nomad life has grown!!!
The slideout solar panels are brilliant. He has power to spare. You find the best people to interview. Thanks for another fine video.
Barry is just brillant all the way round. I sure hope my luck holds out with coming across amazing people like Barry in the future!!
I love this guy! And I see he's a cyclist, that's how he stays so young!
I watch your videos and I can’t believe what you can do. Someday maybe I could drop by your shop and meet you in person. With a little bit of luck your twin brother might be there also.
As I was touring Barry's van I kept thinking of your builds and all the detail you put into your beautiful builds. I wish I had aluminum frame's for my cabinets like you use.You two are both an inspiration.
I have no words, WOWZIE!
Exactly!!
Awww 🥰 what a cool dude 😎 soooo talented & creative
Thank u 4 your captivating videos. Stay Blessed
💜💚💛 Thank you 💛💚💜
WOW! All I can say is WOW!
Great job Barry ! The van is very innovative and well built. I can tell that you enjoy this project and thank you for sharing your work with us. Hope to see you on the road somewhere.
Building something onto the van or repairing something on the van is so gratifying for me . Meeting you would be my pleasure.
@@barrydickman3425 Yes for sure, designing an idea then building it is the best. I have been looking for a 12 volt AC and am so happy that you showed yours. I will be checking it out next.
I put a 12 volt elgina water heater in my van and I love it. The one I put in is only 2 gallons but it recovers in 1/2 hour. Two of us take quick showers with no problem. Thanks again for sharing your work.
That is an amazing build. Barry is such a talented craftsman with the attention to details. I love how your channel runs the gambit from super simple builds to sophisticated builds, showing that anyone can enter van life if they want. Thanks.
Thanks for noticing that Paul. It really is the truth that anyone can enter van life and do it their way on their budget .
I wish we could have seen the welded tanks! This was truly a work of art
You know what you are right. Now that would have been something to see. If I catch up with Barry in the future I will show that. Just me getting under that van would be a sight to behold. 🤣
@@gloriouslifeonwheels3621 after seeing him work the solar panels, I bet he has a gadget that will go under for you 😁
I have a picture of one of the tanks it went underneath that was taken before it was installed. The tank should not have gone under the vehicle. It was so beautiful I really should’ve put it on my dining room table as art work.
@@barrydickman3425 😂😂😂 everything in vanlife should have duel purpose right!? I hope you share it with Carol so she can share it with us! It's the only time I've heard of a welded tank in van life
Genius!! Nicer than many people's sticks and bricks!!
You can say that again🤣
Absolutely amazing,well done 👋🦘👋🦘👋
very nice, very nice!
Great van. Love the shower and the sliding solar panels 👍 almost forgot the Ac genius
He is an awesome craftsman engineer, gorgeous Van Build Home ! God's continued best to Sir Barry always - he's in excellent physical shape too , awesome !
You are so right. If this is what 76 looks like, come on 76🤣
Wow! Barry did an amazing job and is rightfully proud of his work. I hope he has a wonderful journey, traveling and meeting people and seeing new places. Thanks so much for another excellent video Carol! I'd love to see more of what he made in his marvelous van.
I do have some footage I didn't put in the video I will try to air at a future time.
