You have to remember, the game takes place in the early 80's. Targeting computers, as well as any AI a robot built during that time would be running, were far inferior to what we have today. Let's face it, if that thing were using modern technology, he'd have been dead in ten seconds flat.
There are 3 weak points for the robots, but he was just shooting at the armored parts like the fuel tank, and for its aim I can say it was like this because he was playing on easy mode
It also doesn't help that the primary pistol in the game is a 32 acp bitch pistol. I'm assuming this is the thing that took out tanks, yet some teenager hiding behind a rock can kill it with 32acp?
He's shooting it with a pistol more appropriate for target practice, or MAYBE a 100 pound teenage punk with a switchblade. Anything under .44 caliber is of very limited use to defend yourself.-

Yep. Forgive my disbelief, but the primary pistol isn't even a 9mm? And they have hollowpoints? How the fuck is that supposed to damage metal machines? Are they made of aluminum? Or are they for human enemies that aren't in yet?
I haven't seen their roadmap yet. I hope there are human enemies, but if the trailers so far are of any indication, there won't be. The combat doesn't seem very engaging either. It looks like all you gotta do is side strafe. I don't see the point in making the enemies robots, then giving you basic weapons to fight them. I honestly have a lot of complaints, but I'm a very critical person and know a lot of people don't care about that. I won't be picking up this game because I can already tell it's gonna be full of immersion breakers.
@@rubenzikarsky5195 No amount of early development forgiveness or road maps is going to make me believe a .32 acp bitch pistol will penetrate an armored target. Unless maybe it's made of depleted uranium or something. Even if it was made that only rifle could penetrate the armor it still makes it doubtful that the military wouldn't be able to stop them since they all have rifles and/or access to larger calibers and tanks. That's not even getting into me being butthurt that it's set in the 80's because of nostalgia or some shit? It doesn't make any sense. Are they trying to Metal Gear? Or are they just in the "pop culture" thing and popping boners for the shitstain on history that was the 80's? If there isn't any human enemies, what the literal fuck is the point of birdshot? Are you going to need to hunt at some point or? As an aside, something I've noticed is that the trailers made a big deal about damaged enemies staying around on the map, so if you run into them later they'll still be damaged, but it more appears that combat just continues until you either win or lose. That doesn't mean the system doesn't work, but just that it probably won't ever be utilized in any meaningful way. Maybe for the big robots if you run away, but everything else will chase you. Oh, and one more thing, my direct comparison here is Horizon Zero Dawn, but in HZD each enemy had a clearly marked weak point or turret you could shoot to deal damage or remove weapons. You could also remove armor with certain weapon types, and as weapons/limbs were disabled the enemies would use different attacks or start limping around. I haven't seen that present in this game, so if it actually in the game, then it manages to not be very prevalent. I don't know where to toss this in, but I just realized the robo-dogs always have 32acp on them implying that their turrets are also using bitch pistol rounds.
@@JZStudiosonline The point I meant by this game being super early development is there are current placeholders for several things still being added to the game. What will happen in a real game is that someone will throw a flare and everyone will run up behind the enemy and hit their weak-spots with everything they've got. Game is going to be repetitive outside exploration if this is what you can expect. As someone else stated in the comments, it kind of makes sense that the robot would only be distracted temporarily with a flare and turn towards the person shooting it. Instead of making enemies more durable, I'd prefer them being easy to kill if hit in the right spot(from behind), but their output damage should be enough to incapacitate and even kill you in a few shots. It means you'd have to put more focus at teamplay in order to survive. You'd have to avoid them as much as possible until you get some good gear. I really hope that you can climb robots if coming up from behind whether you sneak up on it or not. It'd make it an interesting move because maybe you would be able to shut it down without damaging its components and therefor get more loot, or perhaps even put a large explosive on weak-spots if you don't have the know-how to shut down robots. As for band-aids, I generally prefer them to not heal any health, only stop health drain from status effects; such as fire or of course bleeding. Health would in my liking be regain slowly over time, through food items or a first aid kit. As of now based on this footage alone, the game would be more grind than actual survival. That means it'd not keep the player's interest for long and the player would get bored and quit playing. It'd essentially kill the game, result in less sales due to bad reviews and therefor affect the studio itself. It means less potential for good games on the market. As for the fire, it seems like it put itself out a lot quicker than I expected. If you set a dry field like that on fire in real life it'll spread and continue to burn for a good while. If it did this in the game then it'd make it a lot more interesting I think. Say you or the robot sets the field on fire, now there's fire and smoke everywhere that can damage you and the robots. Maybe it gets harder to breathe and require a gas mask to deal with. In addition the smoke would cause low to no visibility and make targeting much harder for you and the robots. As for the difficulty itself, if they aim for realism, then one enemy difficulty would be best. But if they still want additional difficulties, then maybe those'd add less loot to the game, more enemies and slower/no health regeneration. The additional difficulties would basically focus at survival. This game looks promising if they can change a few things, but that'd ultimately be up to them since they don't have to listen to anyone but themselves. It remains to be seen how well this game will do. As of now, it looks promising but may also be a fad just like thousands of others games that slowly lose popularity after the hype vanishes. And as always, *never not pre-order.* It's a waste of money and it hurts the gaming industry. Waiting for proper reviews is the best option you have if you want to help the industry, stop the pre-order bonus BS and get better and fewer broken games at launch. All you have to do is practice some self-discipline. If everyone did this then most of the problems we have with the games industry today would not exist. We all wants to play new games, but think about it, you'd be trading your pleasure over the pleasure of everyone. You can always play something else that has already been released while you wait to see if the game is worth buying or not. There's no harm in waiting a week or even a year after a game's launch.
more difficulty and less tedious imo. It aims like a shovel and barely do any damage, but takes a million hits... it prays on your patience. Should be a weak spot that is hard and risky to abuse but takes it down quicker. Are there different ammo types?
Compared to the game "Scum" which is also in beta and has giant assault mechs the difference is actual danger. The assault mechs in this game are seriously nothing to be afraid of by the looks of it.
Everyone complaining saying it looks boring. Firstly its a beta with no official release date. Secondly if your play style is running around in fields openly engaging everything, not immersing yourself, youre gonna have a bad time. Its not solely down to the game to give you a fully immersive experience without the whole thing being so linear you would all undoubtedly complain about it. I for one am really exited and cant wait to see what the story is like, and if the largest robot in the beta is 'Easy' i cant wait to see what will be in the full game

Years ago everyone would have freaked out over a game like this. Nice grafiks, smooth gameplay, a cool idea to let you fight against robots in an environment like this. Today everone's like : boring! Even though it's a beta it still looks nice to me. Only thing i didn't like were the gun sounds. They kinda sound like guns in DOOM , not like real guns. But that's just one thing...
I love how people claim it looks boring. It's funny, they come with an original and interesting game and people complain. They do something similar to the last release , they complain. That's all people do is bitch about games.
thanks for sharing, that was a great fight in spite of some of the comments from the armchair heroes saying otherwise, looking forward to playing it soon!
When will someone make a game where the robots are accurately designed to kill humans? It would be the most hardcore experience due to the fact that such a robot would be almost impossible for a human to defeat.
Maby make it less spongy , and adding weak points that allow you to take these guys down faster. Also maby adding in some smaller machines to go along with this battle?

Rogue group use your harpoons an toe cables, it might be our only chance of stoping them
WOw, what a game. That gameplay looks awesome. If that was EASY, then I don't know what hard is.
0:13 to 0:24 it’s says difficulty easy not saying that it’s easy to kill a huge robot just pointing something out
The kind of game that gets 10k+ players at launch but dies to 200 daily players within a couple of months
He's like just gotta get to ol Drippy's 2fort to squish Metallica into the pepperoni seeds.
Compared to the game "Scum" which is also in beta and has giant assault mechs the difference is actual danger. The assault mechs in this game are seriously nothing to be afraid of by the looks of it.
this game has some huge potential
there is an old ancient saying for this kind a action : we call it boring.
I for one am really exited and cant wait to see what the story is like, and if the largest robot in the beta is 'Easy' i cant wait to see what will be in the full game
well if its boring in beta then its going to be boring in full release..
Not sure when they announced the release date, but it's confirmed as of now. It'll be released later in March.
@@madman2u for consoles?
Years ago everyone would have freaked out over a game like this. Nice grafiks, smooth gameplay, a cool idea to let you fight against robots in an environment like this.
Today everone's like : boring! I'd rather play Apex Legends because it's the same stoopid shiat that Call Of Duty Maker brang out every year for decades now.
Give us lootboxes, so we can waste our money on skins!
Even though it's a beta it still looks nice to me. Only thing i didn't like were the gun sounds. They kinda sound like guns in DOOM , not like real guns. But that's just one thing...
When i look at this game.....im like :" Is this Hunter Call off the Wild ?" Same engine basically
When autobots mate with regular cars
I love how people claim it looks boring. It's funny, they come with an original and interesting game and people complain. They do something similar to the last release , they complain. That's all people do is bitch about games.
I like how you cant even loot it after all that
thanks for sharing, that was a great fight in spite of some of the comments from the armchair heroes saying otherwise, looking forward to playing it soon!
sprinting side ways and backwards lol
looks boring
13:15 LOL Is that a carrot in his nose?
When will someone make a game where the robots are accurately designed to kill humans? It would be the most hardcore experience due to the fact that such a robot would be almost impossible for a human to defeat.
Did you use like 200 rounds from a cheap pistol? isn't there any like rocket or grenade launchers in the game?
Robots feet just scrape across the ground when it moves its upper torso :)
i like the way it turns in place xD there's machine learning for realistic animation and shit - nope, not this time, we are in late '90s :D
Sounds effects are amazing.
why every gun sounds like a rocket-launcher?
How can that big robot have so small range with auto cannons and missile pod?
next generation gaming would include the option to fire at a rocket to destroy it before it impacts...
Time to kill is to long..
Make them alot harder/faster but less health.
It straight up two legs and a machine gun waist lol
Maby make it less spongy , and adding weak points that allow you to take these guys down faster. Also maby adding in some smaller machines to go along with this battle?
Looking at them in the night from far away looks sooo scary. But these robots suck at killing you lmao.
Dam. Now I want to see a robot with medium difficulty.
Ummm, so WTF was up @10:25 when U had "2" Health! and all of a sudden the video gets edited and your back to full health??
ran out of heals so I looted some and went back into the fight.
A guy I was exploring with found that big bot, we shot it for like 2hrs and never killed it, and the next day the beta ended ..but did you notice if you shot it like 15 times you got tons of experience? Lol I was lv 11 shot it with 2 mags and was lv 60. Had to be a glitch.
I don't think its possible to destroy it unless you aim for weak spots. Yeah I got to max level that way too, I guess you get exp just by damaging enemies.
Shoot the weak points!-Most Obvious Advice
It's the nuclear power cell is why u can't go near the big ones I believe
holy shit, what a game, when i saw guns and a huge robot i instantly want the game xD
13:58 only one bullet left lucky asf
Somehow they didn't though it through very well....shooting robots from this size with some small caliber guns seems a little odd...
They gotta drop the health by a lot and make the robots stronger.
strongly resembles horizon zero down but with different kind of robots and with firearms in a different environment and as a first person shooter. But otherwise exactly HZD
Nice to see some Swedish guns in action.
"Please put down your weapon. You have 20 seconds to comply."
"You have 5 seconds to comply. 4. 3. 2. 1. I am now authorized to use physical force!"
How was it? Did u like it?
This doesn't have anything on HZD.
