- Narcissa Malfoy wasn’t a completely bad person, she fell in with a bad crowd, she was arrogant, cold and not afraid to be harsh.
But Her love for Draco was very much her saving grace, it became very obvious throughout the story that Narcissa’s true allegiance was to her family, especially her son. Even if it meant defying Lord Voldemort.
So in today’s video we’re going to cover up Narcissa’s entire life, explaining her Origins, family redemption, and the love for her family that drove her to abandon Voldemort and care only of her family’s safety above all.

I would say that she was basically a good person who loved her family and wished for their safety at all costs. She was raised with the pure blood supremacy beliefs that never changed when she got older like Andromedea did and proved with her marriage to a muggleborn.
That would be the opinion of her twenty years ago since she did grow up in a household with prejudices against anyone who was a muggle or muggleborn. For that reason she would be excused for her prejudices even if she didn't actively act on those prejudices. However today she wouldn't be considered a good person due to her prejudices even if she did protect her family and never acted on her prejudices.
RIP to Helen McCrory, the actress who played Narcissa Malfoy, who died today. Her work was amazing and will still live on for generations to come. Fly high, angel.
i have so much respect for narcissa, she saved harry and loved her son, and would anything for him 🥺
I think Lily, Molly and Narcissa are so alike because they are willing to do anything for their children's life, and they never regret the choice, they always put family first and aren't afraid to lie about it, to kill someone or to die.
I can see them all as friends if there was no war

I love Malfoys family and i think Narcissa was a great mum and she and Draco deserved better....Lucius did lots of problems and their family was in trouble bc he did mistakes....But i think they are good family😏

I think the whole Black family went down different paths. Vellatrix the oldest was taught the importants of blood purity from a young age, in faver of pure-bloods, getting rid of muggleborns and having pure-bloods in charge. this led to her disowning her cousin Sirius and her sister Andromidda and niece Ninphadora, and marrying Rodolfus after finishing her seventh and final year at hogwarts, even though she didn't love him at all and never concieved a child with him. after becoming a death eater a long with her husband, her brother inlaw Robastion, and her sister;s husband Lucius, Voldemort began to train her in the dark arts and she fell in love with him, but he didn't have the same feelings for her as he was unable to understand love. because of Voldemort's teaching of dark magic and for his saying of her to turn her anger into madness, she was responsable for some of the distruction and deaths of some of the people in the series during the 2 wars like the torture of Frank and Alice longbottom, the murder of Sirius Black, the death of Dobby, and the death of Tonks. Andrommida was also taught the importants of blood purity, but she broke the black family marrage tradition and married Muggle-born wizard Ted Tonks and was disowned and burned off the Black family tree. Narcissa Malfoy was taught the importants of blood purity and she too like her oldest sister, was in faver of pure-bloods. she too cut off contect with her cousin and other sister. she instead married Lucius Malfoy as I mensioned and altho she didn't get the dark mark or officially become a death eater herself, she was for the purification of the wizarding race. she concived a child with Malfoy, and her son Draco was born in 1980, and was just as predijused as his parents before him. aventually, the Malfoys redeemed themselves and learned that family comes first. Sirius Vlack the oldest was not in faver of pure-bloods and distanced himself from his family. he didn't like their pure-blood mania. unlike most of his family, he was sorted into Gryffindor when almost his entire family was in slytherin. after finishing school, he joined the order of the phoenix and fought against lord Voldemort and his death eaters, after the fall of lord Voldemort, which many claimed his godson Harry was responsable for, he went after one of his frinds peter Pettigrou for betraying Lily and James, Pettigrou screamed out that Sirius was the trator to the Potters for a street ful of muggles to hear. then escaped by blasting apart the street and turned into his anamagus form of a rat, framing Sirius for the murder. Sirius was captured and sent to Azkaban. however he escaped in 1993, and revealed Peter;s true nature and told his godson the truth, the truth that he wasn't responsable for Lily and James's death, from than on, Harry talks to his godfather about how he's feeling and everything that's happening at hogwarts. after Voldemort returnes to ful power, he along with his friend Remus, the only remaining Merodders in the order rejoined Dumbledore's alliance unfortunately, since the order's using grimald place has head-quarters, Sirius has to remain there, which he really hates because it was his childhood home. he seizes his chance at the end of term when Harry and his friends are at the ministry and order members rush to save them. when they get there, they begin dueling death eaters and Sirius is killed in a duel with his cousin. Regulus Black started off as a prideful boy who was only in faver of pure-bloods to an unsung heero. as a young boy, he learned about the importants of pure-blood purity and fully imbraced his ansestry. he was a big fan of Voldemort from a young age and made paintings of cut out newspapers that had to do with Voldemort. he had a good relationship with the family house elf. when he got older, he joined the death eaters, and got the dark mark at the age of 16. after learning that Voldemort wanted to make himself imortal, he defected and went to steel one of his horcruxes. he unfortunately was silenced by the infery. but he had a chance to make up for his mistakes.
