❤ I noticed that there is glimpses of time that my mind is living the life without me…like if I am not there! So I just come back in my body and live the moment right now! And it worked. I am the one who lives the life and not the monkey mind!
Coming back from being "not there," and then "staying here," is the beginning of the journey. The experience of "being here and staying here" then initiates one into a lifetimes-long inquiry into the knots, deformations, imprints, and karmas that govern the person who IS here, and a prolonged purification of that person so that the Divine can actually embody, inhabit and govern that person as a vehicle of Divine Consciousness.
I think most people have experienced no separate self many times and it just wasn’t that big of a deal. If you’ve ever “lost yourself” in a book or a movie, or been “in the flow”, where it seemed like your body was on autopilot and was just doing its thing with no “you” controlling anything, then guess what. That was the experience of no separate self. Congratulations! On the flip side, make a mistake in front of an audience and you’ll quickly become very conscious of your self, i.e., self-conscious. Once you’ve seen that the sense of self comes and goes, it becomes easier and easier to see through the illusion.
Funny, I have always looked at it just the opposite. When I notice the moments -- that happen all throughout the day -- where there seems to be no me there, no conscious connection to what's going on, I have seen it as numbing out or disassociation from life. An escape.
Omg I have this too and I used to think omg didn’t just blank out for awhile “.. now I’ve realised omg we have forgotten who we are for a bit LOLLLLL my name is Corey.. but when I’m like that I’m NOBODY 😂😂😂
Same here.... Recently, it's like I don't have an identity; no name, no problems,no negativity. I'm just there or here😅😂. Can't really explain, but it's wonderful 😊😊
Before I found this video I saw this quote somewhere: “The mind is discontinuous. Again and again it blanks out, like in sleep or swoon, or distraction. There must be something continuous to register discontinuity. Memory is always partial, unreliable and evanescent. It does not explain the strong sense of identity pervading consciousness, the sense 'I am'. Find out what is at the root of it.”
Omg I have noticed this, I’ve noticed at work sometimes, and I had a feeling of.. omg I was working then and I know I just lost my sense of self lolllll but it’s always while I’m working alone
If that is what the character does in the moment of pain then that can be interesting to notice. The depth or layers of reactivity can also be noticed and change.
I always laugh at these folks, giving a direct suggestion as if it is such an obvious actuality that we should all just say "yes, I don't actually exist". Well, I've never met a guru who has no self, it's easy to expose. Delusion is rife within the human consciousness, do not be trick by the tricksters.
What doesn't exist is a separate self. Once this is seen, then illusions naturally fall away. From "my" relative perspective this seems to take (a lot of) time. In the meantime one may still be subject to pain and suffering, to illusions, to false beliefs. Including those so-called gurus and masters. I agree that a lot of these explanations and pointers can be very confusing unless it's understood what is meant here.
I find it interesting that you took the time out of your day to comment this. It also leads me to wonder if you took the time to watch the whole video before commenting. If you did, and you still feel this way, I think we both know this isn't the channel for you, but congratulations for attempting to explore something your ego isn't ready to process. Best of luck.
The ego does not have real independent existence, awareness obviously exist, you are in the wrong understanding. It is the "sense"of self that is a mental construct.
@@leif2660 Understanding is not a resultant process, as suggested by almost everyone. Hence, they talk and talk, but understand not. Anyone suggesting a no self is one who simply misleads.
"...you, the self-contracted entity". Wow, great expression!

Thanks for contributing Robert.
Thank "you". Muito obrigado.
Worded so beautifully

I love the background you've used. A very nice and creative choice!
Thank you for your kind feedback

I have noticed this,
I’ve noticed at work sometimes, and I had a feeling of.. omg I was working then and I know I just lost my sense of self lolllll but it’s always while I’m working alone
Its ok either way, just interesting to notice and be consciously aware.
Thank you very much
You're welcome
Nice.
Thanks James

Am I always in a flow state?
Flow state is and you appear also in thoughts.
How can you see that you’re not there? There’s already nobody there who could see that.
All words have limitations.
Life’s a dream till you stub your toe on a chair leg. Then you find out just how many swear words you actually know.
I know about thirty seven.

Should I laugh at this?
Distracting music
Noted.
