what you'll find out in time: bar rail closer are a bandaid at best. When drawing the rails closer together, youre tipping the rails in, not drawing the entire depth of the rail in. As a result, the chain isnt contacting much of the rails. The chain will be sloppy in the bar again fairly soon.
@Smittyschainsaws I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon and it seems it's kinda hot or miss with those rim sprockets and some other saw parts also. I like the chain sharpening videos and the porting videos you do. Man you seem really familiar. Where are you from? I think I've met you somewhere before but I can't figure out where.
Great video! Awesome info.
👍👍 that’s a good grinding angle.
Thats a cool looking 372 with the white bottom.
Good stuff bud
Good one Smitty. Man, you gotta give those 365/372 Neotec’s a healthy timing advance.
@@IndianaDoug it has a meteor crank and it seems to be timed closer to oem specs.

@@Eganperformancesaws Good info to know!
@@Smittyschainsaws after running it for a few tanks, check the slop in the bar.
Chain in the thumbnail looks fast!
angles are important but wheel grit is also important. you should try tecomec white one
The 10 degree tilt feature reduces the top plate angel by 2 1/2 degrees compared to using no tilt.
Id always thought the sprockets were punched out of round but never looked to close. Thats cool you figured out the issue with them
@@matthewknight5641 The wobble I’m seeing could be coming from the clutch or bearing. I didn’t dive into it any further.

@ Pennsylvania
@Smittyschainsaws I guess it wasn't you I've met then but maybe it was in a past life or something...
What type of grinding wheel are you using ?
I've been using the Oregon pink wheel and looking for something that's not as prone to burning.
@@cliffhaskett7703 Tecomec is the brand. I use the green wheel. It’s way better than the pink Oregon wheel.
Hi do you have a bar that will fit a C 52 Homelite saw
