Your going decent just try keep your head up straight because if you look down your bike will go down. Nice video!
Nice video! The key is finding the balance point and rear brake control.
Very true! Thanks for the tips!
LOL, love it, Kyle!
I remember in my younger days I could ride a wheelie on my road bike!
Just remember to have your head tube fastened properly - once, I pulled the handlebars out!
Might have to give it a shot soon to see if pulling a wheelie is like riding a bike - one always remembers, after a bit of time, if one hasn't done it in a while.
Great to see you again! :)
It's wild to see people doing wheelies on road bikes. Much more difficult. I used to attempt it on mine, but never came to me. Thanks for watching Michael! Good to see you too.
Weelies are so hard! You looked pretty comfortable on a few of them. Couple more hours and they will be locked in!
Thanks Scott. I still can't do them lol
definately have your rear suspension locked or even better get on a hardtail it is easier the wheelie on a hardtail, also pull up a bit further and get used to using that back brake that is the only way to control wheelies
Good tips! I've practiced on my hardtail before and it's for sure easier. I kept my suspension open for this session cause I want to learn how to control them as I ride the bike on my trails with the suspension open.
When I was a kid, i could ride a wheelie down the block. As an adult, about 3 feet
lol! It takes so much longer to learn things as an adult. It sucks!
@@CobraKyle that's because we know we arent immortal any more
Wheelie good video Kyle!
Thanks man! I'm excited for this weekend!
You should try and lower your seat a little it will help a lot but you did really good for your first time.
Thanks for the tip! I'll give it a try.
@@CobraKyle np man it really helped me so I thought it would help you too and if you could comment on this again and tell me if you did any better
Anyone tips, i cannot get the wheel up that much?
Great video! You should try learning endos next!
Thanks Ian! Endos are on the list for a potential 1 hour session. Should be scary!
If you ride a bit faster overall it makes it easier to ride strait and you are less likely to fall sideways immediately
I'll speed it up as I progress with this more. Appreciate the tip!
Its easier to learn how to wheely in a low gear but once you get the hang of it start to go higher in the gearing and it should be easier to wheely for a longer period of time.
Also easier to go up a very subtle upslope should help.
Good tips! Thanks Destin!
Love from nepal
So cool! Appreciate that!
There’s always stand up comedy.
Check out Kyle and April’s channel. Really breaks it down.
Yeah they are such a good channel for learning skills!
@@CobraKyle Kyle Warner is really patient and encouraging. But you’re funnier.
Great job Kyle, keep practicing you'll get it, you should skip wheelies and go straight to manuals!!!
Thanks Adam! I might do a similar video for manuals. I'm definitely not as comfortable with those.
the first part i know what was wrong with u just doing 2 parking spots, It was because your head was down and if ur head is down then that means that your balance goes down and you fall back down.
all the gear no idea
I just need my palace point
Try looking up, not at your front wheel
Great tip! I started realizing that towards the end of my practice that I tend to look down. As I started looking up more, it started to feel more natural.
Not trying to hate but you said i can learn in 1 hour (i already know how to wheelie) and yet you started with already great progress to begin with. Im just saying it would be a lot harder for people with no experience to try and start wheeleing in 1 hour. Great video tho i really enjoyed it
bro yo seat to high
you sounds like trevor bour
To me i think you seat is way too high just lower it a little bit and see the results
