Great video. Anyone travelling should always anticipate issues. After over 1000 flights just on Air Canada I can certainly say it's true. Just have to pack your patience and enjoy being so lucky to fly on these beautiful machines. Cheers from CYYB.
Something similar happened to me with poor maintenance on jet bridge. But people blamed AC for the problem!! The real problem is the Airport!! If bridges and air conditioning or heating is not working, that causes the delays!!! Not Air Canada's fault!
I like the Dreamliner. I just booked a flight to London from Vancouver and the menu didn't offer pre-flight choices or allergy notices. Hopefully there's enough on board choice to avoide issues. A tour of the onboard washrooms wasn't included. Is there more than one choice for business class? Is there a difference in washrooms between classes? The premium economy AC Dreamliner flights I've been on had a washroom large enough to do some quick hamstring stretches diagonally, unlike the 777 which was the size of a phone booth. Overall a pretty standard review.

Dont forget the lost lugguage fiasco at Pearson from a couple of years ago. To Europe, I usually fly Air France or KLM or Luftansa. To Asia, either Korean Air or EVA or ANA. Within Canada, I drive or fly airlines like Porter. Too much money to spend on an unreliable airline. No thanks.
@@PS-383 I'm also Canadian. I flew to the EU, Asia or Africa every 5 weeks for 9 1/2 years. I chose Air France/KLM/Kenya air, or ANA whenever possible. Within the EU I usually flew AF, Lufthansa or LOT.
@@OnTimeReports YYZ doesn’t suffer from the horrendous over crowding that LHR has. T5 is overall the best and overall quite nice but nothing really special, looking a bit dated now.
I flow on 787-9 from YYZ to DBX! What a disaster! Boarding was chaotic! First gate was changes. Then the wrong plane was at gate! So, we had to wait the right FIN is brought to the gate. Then the real chaos started. People from zone 3 lined up in zone 1 and 2 and caused a lot of confusion. The hate staff, could not care less, except a gentleman who seems to be lead or manager and single handedly, he could not do much! The careless attitude of staff is unbelievable! Then the flight was delayed for 2 hours for a broken chair! Flight crew were exceptional! Now to the food! I thought I was flying Air India and not Air Canada! Both trips, the menu was Indian food. I like Indian food but on a 13 hours flight! Good lord! On the way back the food was so spicy! As for cabin, the flight to Dubai had other issues. For example the window dimming system was broken! Overall, 6/10 for this flight. Air Canada gate crew are far from world class! Would probably fly Emirates next time. Rather sad to even write these about our own national airline.
Since covid AC business meal quantity and quality significantly low. LH was the worst of all now AC has the flagship despite very high prices. They have to have internship with Turkish Airlines. Incompetent and rude grouns crew is another isssue
I really hate Air Canada. There is always something that comes up to cause a delay . Usually a mechanical problem . Delays ,delays ,delays. This airline is an embarrassment to Canada. Long walks to the gates etcetera.As an average Canadian I can’t afford first class. I go economy because I have to and economy in Air Canada is horrible. Never fly Air Canada again !

never would choose the last row, as it mostly close to the galley from the economic or to the toilet , , like to sit in the middle of the class

In terms of access and convenience? Well I would say YYZ T1 is better.

Wow. I’m surprised any airline would have this type of seating; losing a lot of money. I’m guessing these seats are very expensive.
Business Class? This doesn't compare at all to Business Class with other airlines like Lufthansa or Emirates. Not even close!
