Hey guys thanks for watching, a lot of you seem to really be enjoying this new style, which I'm happy to hear because it takes a very long time to edit these now haha. If you have not seen my video on what you need to know before going to Norway you can check it out here: bit.ly/2L3CFcm
Good advice for traveing in Norway: Read and follow warning signs. If you are not prepared and have the right equipment (No Cody, not fancy camera equipment and drones.) ask at the tourist information if you can rent equipment and hike with a certified mountain guide. Norwegian nature is wild and is not "idiot-proof". Every year tourists gets in trouble, gets injured or dies due to bad decisions, like ignoring warning signs.
Your videos you made on Norway though need to get som creds, for a Nowegian seeing my country presented in such a way is truely wonderful and giving. Because we can get used to seing the nature, but to see someone from an exturnal point of view, and the're loving it, we love it!
Norway really does look like it's near-perfect. The islands connected by the roads and bridges look so scenic and surreal. It's so wild that it still looks like early evening at 1 a.m. in Bodo. The mountains around the city are beautiful, but that view from Reinebringen? Looks like heaven, man. One of the most beautiful things I've ever seen in any travel vlog! I really, really have to go there someday. My favorite video of yours so far, Cody. I felt like I was there with you guys!
Hey Cody, some of us will never be able to go there because of age. But is so nice to see it through your lens although it isn’t the same as being there. Thanks for the photos.
Cody I love how you and your mom relationship is reminds me and my mom I started crying missing those times love this vlog and all your travels stay safe and keep showing the world.
Cody, I have never been more peaceful than right now. Watching this incredible scenic video has made me a happy man. So beautiful and so serene. Thank you.
I am actually living in one of the houses just under Reinebringen and it is an amazing place. Too bad we locals don't appreciate the scenery like we should, it is always there. That's why it is so nice to see a video like this from someone that describes it in this way. Thanks!
Robin, can you tell me how much $ one would need annually to retire there? I'm Canadian, from the east coast the province of Newfoundland. The scenery in Newfoundland is similar to Norway; towns nestled along the Atlantic coast with mountains as backdrops except your mountains are bigger, fjords deeper and overall more mountainous. Your scenery is absolutely breathtaking, now I long to visit before I get too old or maybe visit and just stay.
@@carlgustov7728 Houses in Lofoten are pretty cheap (depends on size and location ofc) but generally speaking, if u sell ur property in Canada u could probably buy a way bigger house here. U could live a good life here if u have 25k or more a year
Omg your videos just keep getting better and better!!!! I'm so happy to see that you took some of our advice! Your travel guide video was so helpful and had lots of great information! :)
Went to Norway for 1 week. Was so mindblown by the beauty. I visited 10 countries when I went to visit but I only watch Norway hiking videos. Its like an addiction!!!
loved the video! Proud to be Norwegian! Proud of my heritage! Norway is flooding with tourists in the summer, its crazy to see, all from Asians-Germans and -Americans!
It feel really weird watching this as a Norwegian. These sights are completely normal for us and we see them every single day most of us. And you guys are completely amazed by all of this. That is why exploring and traveling the world is so exciting. Really makes me wanna appreciate these things more and more.
I love it when coincidences happen. Yesterday I was studying Norwegian yesterday and at the end of one of the chapters there was an article about this place and I thought: damm that sounds awesome. I wish I could see it. And now I have so: thank you 😊 ❤️
since i live in norway lofoten i agree its a beautiful place and for some reason we have this thing in summer - autumm where the sun goes up again at midnight... its called a midnight sun or in norwegian, Midnatt Solen! Love the video keep up
Oh my god I can't believe it! Being from Bodø and fans of yours, this is super exciting for me to watch! Glad you enjoyed Bodø and Lofoten ^^ Also, I've been on that ferry (from Bodø to Lofoten) several times. Wished I could have been there when you were there :') 4:49 Also also, yes it looks even better in winter ^^
My first comment ever. This was a definetely an amazing video and the way it started was just perfect. Keep up the good work. You guys look so happy… :)
What an amazing view and pretty sights! You said it absolutely right with the words "Oh, my God", because Wow, HE did make things so beautiful! I can't wait for the day that he will make the whole earth into a paradise again! All pain and sorrow will be gone. Finally! Thanks for this beautiful and encouraging video, guys!
It's such a cool phenomenon! The midnight sun never sets. It doesn't go below the horizon (it might look like that with the mountains hiding it), but it goes down to a certain point, then it starts going back up (like a normal sunset/rise). It's all because of the earth's tilting. That's why it looked like you had a "sunrise" at 11.30pm. If you go even further north, the point in which the sun will start to rise again is even higher!
Omg, I live in Lofoten. And I love growing up here, if i wan’t to go hiking or something i can littarly just step outside and I have a little hike right next door And somtimes, since it’s not that far away from my house, my cats sometimes walks with me up there...🤗🤗
I have been watching and rewatching your trip to Norway. I told my sister's we have to go but they aren't interested.Norway is absolutely breath taking. Next trip I'm going with you.
Okay, the opening shots were just too amazing not to comment about them right away. What a gorgeous, natural place! Okay, back to watching the video now. =)
Norway is actually one of the most boring countries in the world, besides the scenery that some people might like (which I am not a big fan of anyways), it's really bad.
in the summer, the northern parts of Norway has sun all day, so the sun never sets. int he winter it's basically the opposite. they get maybe 2-3 hours of sun a day, maybe even less. It's a rough life up there, but the scenery is worth it. I live pretty far south so we don't have that trouble to such an extent, but at the peak of summer where I live, it get's dark around 10/11 pm and the sun rises again at maybe 3/4 am hahaha
Marina Halvorsen wth are u talking about its true about the summer But at the Winter we have like 10 houers with sun and like 14 houers with no sun... its not hard to live her at al! Sorry for bad english🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️

Hello! Greetings from Norway! Btw, the reason why you feel the sun went up when you stood on the mountain is because you have climbed a mountain, so when you are on a higher point you can see further at the horizon than from the ground, so if you are really good at mountain climbing in Norway, you can actually see TWO sun-sets in one evening, first from ground level and the next one after you have hiked up a mountain or large hill side.
Im from Bodø. And my family is from Henningsvær, Lofoten. Im glad you like it. I visit Lofoten about 2-4 times a year but its just as beautiful every time. Reinefjorden is the most beautiful fjord in Norway after my opinion. Im moving to Lofoten for 1 year next year. Im excited about experiencing all seasons in Lofoten. We do have some scenic views in Bodø too from keiservarden you can see the lofot wall, etc. (Btw the stairs are built by Nepalese people) i hope you enjoyed your stay and come again later
The last mountain you went to there has been so much media talk of here in Norway because of all of the tourists walking up there getting stuck and hurting themselves hence why the warnings and barricades.
I was there in early august, climbed the mountain after rain, it was nightmare but at the end it was worth it. Great view, i think i will go again eventually.
