- This week we do the air intake filters on my 2012 Mercedes-Benz S550! These were much in need of replacement and are often overlooked by owners. Definitely replace your filters, it’s a quick and easy job and will make a world of difference for the health and smoothness of your engine.

In my search for “how to” videos about this, I notice that no one uses a head mounted GoPro or similar.
This would be very helpful and you can have both hands free while you narrate.
In many parts of these videos the viewer cannot actually see what you are doing.

@2:30 the sensor is the MAS - Mass Airflow Sensor

There is small hose/pipe that goes in on driver side air filter hosing right next to rubber seal what’s that ? You didn’t mention it in your video. It’s not on passenger side
That might be the first MAP or IAT sensor you're referring to, I remember what you're talking about but don't know off the top of my head. Thanks for watching!

Hi, after I changed my air filters with K&N filters, I received an engine code P1CE7. I'm guessing the seal isn't tight enough? I noticed one of the bolts on the air box kept spinning and never felt tight enough when I put it back together.

Complicated? 🤨 four bolts
If you think this is complicated you have no business doing anything under the hood 👍🏻
@@mikimiki195 there is no need to use any tool for many other cars, so yes this is unnecessarily complicated for an air filer change.
@@Evo906 you comparing high performance twin turbo V8 engine to
4 cylinder Honda engine and V6 Toyota engine.
Try replacing air filter on V6 Chrysler engine with clips good luck accessing one of the four clips 👍🏻
@@mikimiki195 for an air filter they are way overkill to get to them. I'm pretty sure I have no problem working under a hood.... Benz does it so people pay for the B service. People see E torx bolts and pretty much give up lol.

I decide to do air filters. I try and try to remove after watching couple if TH-cam videos I notice you can’t remove it
