I rarely loan out pods because I never get the same amount back. If I put pods in the team pool of pods, I’m happy with leaving with the same amount I put in.
Great video for first timers! Some of the things you mentioned (pods, swabs, batteries, micdofibers, etc) are all part of the “team box”. We have a Rigid Rolling Tool Box that we keep extras of all those (except for pods those are store in another box) and are replenished after every outing. We do it so the guys are focused on performing their best rather than worrying about forgetting something. They are responsible for their marker, mask, and clothing.
Get a mask and slider shorts as your first things as paintball gear
Protect your eyeballs and other balls as well

Kind of funny I sent this video your buddy of mine because he's always constantly having to borrow gear for me, or borrow money from me because he's forgotten something and he's going to buy it at the field. He had about 200 bucks to buy an empire EVS because he forgot his mask.
Honestly I'm kind of impressed the fact that moment of paintball would throw out a video like this. I mean yeah you own an online store but you're also a field. You know the place were absolutely everything called three times as much, yeah I got it you need to keep the lights, on make your money nobody's complaining about that I personally hate the fact that every single paintball store is closed on Sunday Monday around me you know the days people are playing. Because if you lose something break it you can't get it, I mean come on seriously nobody's got a girlfriend that thinks paintballs ridiculous and she's willing to sit there from 11:30 until 2:00 just eating lunch and watching videos on her phone. That's all I need you let me around the counter I will pick up the part I came to get put my money in the register myself and leave, I personally think that's why small stores are going out of business because if you're close Sunday when I realize I need something and try to walk in the store to get it before my whole weekend is ruined, and then I can't even get it Monday it's not hard to believe that I'm just going to order it online Sunday night and say screw it I'll have it by Tuesday

teams that are descent have team pods you pick up like 40 at the beginning each season $80 though i bring my own with clean crisp closes due to strapless which does help me personally with time it takes loading, even if it is a half second it matters at the 50 dorito, and that clean crisp snap is important. if anything have some practice ones and some clean tourney ready ones. extra barrel condoms, the lens is good, cleans, barrel swabs one in each spot then a couple in your bag. i have 2 barrel maids, and some cheap extras. lots of micros and clean if you care about your lenses, i also carry a cleaner, and a cheap protectant, polisher product like plexus, go through the check list before you leave, batteries is the one thing if its at practice need to buy, tourney i always got it. knee pads elbow sliders, and i have a little nike sternum pad which i like cuz im always goin head first, sliding is okay but if any risk at all and im not run n gun im dick in the dirt. lastly a 10 buck visor is massively underplayed even with nice hdr lenses it can help, if its 2 o clock not only are you tinted there isnt any direct sunlight, cant shoot what you cant see. the min. for lenses is 2 if youre poor like when i started get your clear add your smoke, take care of em with simple cheap products. look up polycarbonate cleaner if youre uber interested. ive saved lots of lens by taking care of them. then i only buy 1 or 2 a season. i like the evs hd yellow or the any of the blue hue colored tinted ones. the blue helps glare thats why for anyone curious.

Been a few years since I played what's the bore size of paint now a days. Haven't played a whole lot since 2016 used to run 684 and 689 inserts in my freak barrel I still have all my gear but just curious what paint size is the standard now

I don’t really wear protection underneath my jersey and pants, I have only a couple times where the field was bad but in my own opinion I just don’t like it🤷🏽♂️ I get that everyone’s different and some people really like I just don’t. Bags a lot lighter😂

Always have a spare clear lens had one game were it ended at night and they didnt have no lights on the fieldm... every player didnt have a clear lens and lets just say when that buzzer went off all the players were shooting the refs
the only time i ask for pods is rec ball cause i dont feel like its fair for me to share mine and then them not share back i always supply my team and they supply me
i would love to get into speedball or join a team for speedball, its just that there are no teams in my area or that are close to me

Last time I payed, Ii had just gotten a six pack of nine volts, and when I was putting them through a check list, I was only able to find three of them. One was completely dead, one was nearly dead and the third was ALMOST completely full. Ii think I need to hide the batteries in a safe...

Based on those markers I would say if you don't know what you want by now then don't get either of them, you should be 100% certain of what you like and look for in a marker if your planning on putting down that kind of cash for said equipment.

a cup is hard plastic which guarantees that the ball will break. No cup might give you a bounce which is why someone who is really serious about speedball wouldn't wear a cup

For speedball it can be harder to move, it can’t carry as much paint, and i don’t know of any electronic magfed markers.
