I'm starting to really like your channel dude. The way you present these tutorials or videos in general is very cozy and smooth. Imma grind out all your videos when i have time.
You know what would be really cool? If you scrolled back up and hit that like button! It really helps youtube get my videos out to more people. And if you really love what I do then consider subscribing as well!
Thanks for sharing!! I did something last year similar to this.. I had created broken stones and holes in church that needed repair. Talking to lady gave you the quest, then when repair was complete paid you $200 and made the repaired wall tiles change using events to show the repairs and new wall on church. It was a pretty cool idea!!
@@LvLUpDesign Yeah, super fast, well edited to the point. If you're savy at computer stuff and a visual person it really helps you focus. ^_^ I get distracted easily! Thank you! Wish more simple tutorials we all this quick! I'm all for learning multiple things from tuts, but I've sped through a lot of your videos. I will be sure to drop some coin to you asap! Cheers! Totally made my night and RPG Maker that less intimidating!
2:20 You mentioned something about a future video for a synthesis system. Did you make that video already? Would it be too much to ask for a link to that video if it exists? I looked at your uploads but sadly couldn't find a video that might suggest it is about that.
Hi Wildan, thanks for the comment! As for placing furniture, the answer is yes and know. It would require some custom coding as well as custom graphic files being created. Maybe with RPG maker MZ coming out at the end of the month, I'll commission the script.
@@LvLUpDesign What if each furniture was added via events? Like, using the tileset feature. Set each event to have a 'not bought' and 'bought' page. No graphic on the page where it hasn't been bought, and set it to through. Page B just waits for a switch to be activated remotely. Which can be done at a shop. Name the switches, then when a player buys the item, activate it. Set the graphic to be furniture, and it should work. At least, I think it should. Basically, how the For Sale sign works, but in reverse. I've done similar things for characters, having a switch trigger different responses based on quest progression.
Is there some kind of coin/ka-ching sound effect you can add whenever you spend money in MZ? i'd love to add a sound that symbolizes that you've just spent money every time you buy something and have it pop up as soon as you click the buy button < :
little fail at 7:08 , You make the house at 5000$ but you verified if the player have (gold => 4999) "=>" is equal and more, if the player have 4999 he can buy the house at 5000. you can make (gold > 4999) or (gold =>5000). But thanks for your vids, are really nice. And sorry for my english, I'm french ^^'
Idea for a tutorial: 1) How to join and leave player party? 2)What if you want to get your main character to a certain spot. then to jump to another character to play their way to meet the main character to team up and join?
Hi Roden, for adding and removing players from the party, this was the first tutorial I ever made on this channel! th-cam.com/video/OIJQ2EBxZxY/w-d-xo.html&t As for having the main cast of characters changing in and out. You can do that using the Add and Remove from Party function in the event manager. When you want to add a new character after they have already been introduced once, then make sure when you re-add them you leave the [Initialize] box, un checked.
I don't see why not. Just follow the exact same steps, but for the map you want and it should work in theory. There isn't anything different between the maps.
Good God mate, I started to watch your videos yesterday and i cant stop watching them... crazy how many things you can make into a RPG.... im so angry coz many of the features i never ever seen in a RPG like this.... whyyyyyyy.. lazy devs... damn damn. I always thought making a game requires a team and coding... pfff at least im still alive. Gotta start making my own game 😁 Thanks for the videos... make more.... and more and more... and more
Can you make a tutorial about giving items to other NPCs and reciving items from them? Also what their responses can be after reciving it please 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Around the 7:30 mark it should say 5000, not 4999. This is because the symbol shown is "greater than or equal to", not just "greater than".
Wow, Nice pick up!

Best resource for doing research for RPG Maker! Thank you!
Glad you think so!

It seems like this would be a great event to add a cutscene too. Entering the guild and or the house.
You can also have the price increasing with each upgrade. Other than that, great tutorial. Also, great mapping skill.
Thank you for sharing your experience!
My pleasure! Let me know if there is anything you need to know how to do.
Okay, I got a good laugh at, "You can't afford it, bucko!"
He was only one bucko short of having enough money!

I always feel like the kitchen tiles are too modern for a fantasy RPG lol...
I like your tutorial style man. 👍👍👍
I appreciate that! I try my best
Thank you so much for this helpful tutorial!
It helped a lot!!!
Really like the vids man, you are very good at explaining things......I built a warehouse studio upgradable thingy lol works great ..thanks a bunch

Is there a way adding furnitures while playing?

How about a video on how to make villages that you (the player) can create from scratch, like a settlement builder?
Terry Town, RPG Maker edition
Awesome 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Is there a way to make a hunger system similar to Minecraft?
I would imagine yes. Probably through scripting. I may try something like that soon.

@@LvLUpDesign my second idea was you're playing a character then you reach a spot and you go to another map and control a different character.
Can something like this be done to the world map? Like upgrading a town or castle? Or even upgrading a large territory?
I don't see why not. Just follow the exact same steps, but for the map you want and it should work in theory. There isn't anything different between the maps.

Lore...the guild master left that gold laying around in chests he was so desperate to get that house off his hands.
He's been trying to sell it for years!
I love how no house has a bathroom
What do you think the bucket in house #1 is for?
Remember Final Fantasy 6? Every toilet on Earth was in the imperial castle jail. That's just how it worked back then.
ugh your shadows are under the objects and not lining up with the walls >_<
Otherwise the message is good
The door doesn't show and it doesn't show "its locked"
