Commercial Electrician here. I bought my modbox through Tool Nut sometime ago. I can confirm this system rocks. Currently Doing tilt walls and it traverses over gaps and slabs effortlessly. Defiantly worth the price tag and very versatile.
@@christophergilbert2384 Yeah Carrying an SDS, multi tool, impact, drill, Sawzall, and a changer, and multiple batteries in the large chest. For in the medium chest I have an ipad, 20+ hand tools, 2 bags/cases of bits, a hammer, 4in channel locks, my small tool pouch, and various jobsite material (duct tape tie wire tap cons etc.) Its been rolling over in between slabs with ease where we are laying tilt walls. I came from the ridgid progear 2.0 system and there is defiantly more durability and quality. Handel is solid. The larger wheels make moving this box pretty easy; waiting to see how it performs on stairs. Overall color me impressed. I've only struggled pulling it through sugar sand; but to be fair anything is going to do that. It handled mud dirt and lime rock really well. Rolls good on a jobsite overall. This is just my opinion of course. I carry more than I need but its come in handy.
Do you take your MODbox home every day or does your employer have multiple large gang boxes for anyone that wants to use this style of toolbox? All my guys have rolling Klien Tradesman sized or backpack style tool bags. If they were to buy these, I would tell them we only have enough room for one toolbox.
@@moosepasshippie I load/unload & take mine home every day; I do not trust site gang boxes. However nothing stopping you from chaining these up and leaving them on site; always a calculated risk doing that.
I was just gifted a Milwaukee rollling box with 3 drawer unit. After watching this product video I want to return it and go with the MODbox provided they will be releasing a box with drawers.
The half box your referring to is the cooler that should be coming out sometime soon. I preordered mine in April. Speaking of, Do we know when preorders go up for component boxes and drawer systems? Eagerly awaiting.
I'm a elevator mechanic that's does mod ,I take out the old and install new equipment, I purchased the mod boxes, love them, but Klein had fallen behind right off the bat, just have the 3 box sucks, if I could get draws that would be awesome but as of now, in taking it back to Lowe's, and get a refund, no date of release of drawers or anything else, but I won't recommend until they release more stuff
One thing I don’t like it’s the organization bin for the small one there’s only one !!! That an the metal palate on the medium one should be an all three ! But I like it
Looks OKAYYY, lots of negatives though: it Lack of side handles, harder to reach front latch, only 1 organizer inside…? Smaller modder community Pros: slightly larger wheels than Packout. Better handle release. But for my moneys packout is much more robust

How is the handle on the rolling box? Is it very sturdy? Able to haul the weight of multiple loaded boxes?

The rolling box has two sets of three wire guides for spools of wire. The holes can be seen near the latches

Can someone please tell these companies that toolbox's have drawers....
Drawer units just like Milwaukee, Dewalt & FLEX have are coming from Klein as well later this year
If the lid is wet, will it drip INSIDE the box when opened?
Yes, may get some but would be very minimal
Lids don't magically repel water with a force field once opened

Its made in china...?
Just like your cellphone, clothes, doors computer, and most household items

Yeah smaller modder community because it's new. That's not surprising nor unexpected
Great for commercial work, don't see me dragging that into somebody's house though
Actually not bad. Easy to maneuver while going through doorways and up and down stairs. It's all thanks to those 10" non-marking wheels!
need a vacuum and i'm in
