    when it comes to meatballs, it's really important that you have the lingonberry with every bite. It's not just a condiment, it's part of the dish and very important to balance the flavors of the dish.

    • @MaxandSidney
      @MaxandSidney  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Ahh, okay! That's good to know! It definitely adds so much to the overall flavor profile! We hope this is not our last meatball experience in Sweden 😅

      🚫🇸🇪 Don't bother visiting Sweden, you'll just end up surrounded by a bunch of #fake people! They'll smile and act all friendly, but deep down they're probably plotting to steal your identity or something. #AvoidSweden
      💰 Plus, have you seen the prices there? 💸 A cup of coffee will cost you an arm and a leg, and don't even get me started on their famous meatballs. 🍝 I'd rather save my money and eat at IKEA, at least I know what I'm getting there.
      🚘 And good luck trying to navigate their streets. The road signs are like a jigsaw puzzle and the drivers are more aggressive than a Viking raiding party. 🛣️ #NoThanksSweden
      🌧️ Oh, and let's not forget about the weather. It's like a constant state of winter ❄️, with a side of rain ☔. I'll take my chances with the unpredictable weather in my own country, thank you very much.
      🏨 And don't even bother booking a hotel room, because the prices are outrageous and the rooms are probably smaller than a Swedish meatball. 🤏 #NotWorthIt
      🎨 And let's talk about their famous art scene... 🎭 Yeah, it's basically just a bunch of abstract paintings that look like my three-year-old nephew could have done them. #Overrated
      🛍️ And don't bother going shopping, unless you want to pay an arm and a leg for a basic t-shirt with a Swedish flag on it. 🙄 #Pass
      🍻 But hey, if you do end up going, just remember to bring your own alcohol. 💰 The only way you'll be able to afford a drink is if you bring it with you. #BYOB
      🤥 So, in summary, Sweden is full of fake people, expensive prices, confusing roads, bad weather, overpriced art, and limited alcohol. 🤷‍♀️ Sounds like a blast, right? #NoThanksSweden #ImStayingHome

      Why bother travelling to Sweden when you can just stay home and save yourself the trouble of dealing with their fake politeness and constant need for attention? 🙅‍♀️ Plus, let's be real, their famous meatballs are probably just made of reindeer meat and lies. 🤥 And don't even get me started on their obsession with ABBA and IKEA. 🎶 Sure, their landscapes may be picturesque and their healthcare system may be top-notch, but is it really worth putting up with their narcissistic tendencies and sex addiction? 🤔 I'd rather save my money and sanity and travel somewhere else. #NoThanksSweden #NotWorthIt #PassOnSweden 🙅‍♂️

Plus, who wants to deal with the cold and dark winters? ❄️ I'll take a tropical beach any day over that. Well, the guy who took the photo dropped the camera and the lens took a beating. So the right side of the picture became unsharp. I've lived in both Malmö and Copenhagen, though I am from a small town outside of Gothenburg (where I live again now as of early 2012) and I've also been a commuter over the Öresund bridge. Copenhagen and Malmö are similar but still very different, you'll notice the similarities between the cities if comparing Malmö with other parts of Sweden, Skåne (Scania) region has a fair bit in common with Denmark compared to the rest of Sweden. As for touristing, both Malmö and Copenhagen are nice cities to visit and both are very walkable and easy to get around in, but I can say from experience that commuting within Copenhagen or to Copenhagen from Malmö is hell on earth if you like me, work in the western suburbs. I had about 20km to work when I lived in Tårnby (the train stop in Denmark after Kastrup airport) and it, I'm not joking, took me 1-1,5 hours to commute by public transit as I had to take the regional train into the central station and transfer to S-tog and then take a bus from Glostrup or Albertslund to get to work and the bus from Glostrup was a once every 30 minutes bus, there were many delays of both the regional train and S-tog (which definitely contributed to the long travel time) and when I commuted to work from Malmö it took some 2-2,5 hours each way due to all the transfers and constant delays, and going between Malmö and Copenhagen during the morning or afternoon rush hour is just absolute hell! Just don't do it unless you have to! Packed trains and it gets even worse when stopping at Kastrup, especially in the afternoon rush hour when people are going home from work and all the leisure travellers going over to Sweden from Kastrup smashes all their suitcases onto the already overfull train as well. Also, if you plan on flying in to Kastrup to visit Sweden and take the train to get around in Sweden, for the love of your butt and sanity, do NOT use Öresundståg to get to Gothenburg! Öresundståg is NOT fit for trips taking longer than 30-60 minutes or so, and the trip to Gothenburg is some 3+ hours of poor legroom, bad luggage storage and generally the comfort of a local commuter train. Go with SJ X2000 instead, it's faster and a lot more comfortable.

      @MaxandSidney  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Wow, that’s interesting that you commuted over the Øresund! We were amazed by the engineering of the bridge. Not really. For one genration - growing up in the southern part of Sweden during the 80's and 90's it's less difficult to understand because we always watched danish television. Sweden only had TWO channels for a long time, and being able to watch Danish TV gave us two more... But younger people never watched danish tv and have no chans understating danish in speech. I would say most danish people under 40 speaks english today when speaking to swedes.And the other way around, and that's a shame. But the danish language has become more and more difficult to understand even for the danish (that IS true - and danish children are the last ones in europe to learn math because of there way of using 20 as base - just like the french. So 90 is 20+20+20+20+20/2 = halvfems) - the norwegians made a very funny sketch about it.
