Todas tus creaciones bellísimas. gracias por compartir
Thank you 🌸
Amazing work! Congratulations and greetings from Portugal.
Thank you
Love this tutorial! I followed pretty much up until the end when I did what the wire wanted me to do and my mind wandered 😊 I think my design is double the size of Kelly's, so a lot more wire used. I didn't have any thick square wire so used round... Annoying & fiddly! Most definitely am I going to use thick square wire next time for the base- lesson learned. ⚒️ Love this labradorite gem, I see so many beautiful colours and shapes in it! I will lose the sworovski beads tho next time, or just have them in silver 🤗
Thanks so much 🌸🌸🌸
lovely, thank you
Thank you ❤️
Realy beautiful ❤️🇩🇰
Thank you 🌹
The weave that you like the most is on the bottom of the pendant you're working on, looks like a (wheat flower) there's your new. name for your new weaving design
Haha, thanks. I do love that weave ❤️
Thank you for sharing your awesome designs. I have been watching all your works. But I am confused of how long wire need to cut doing wire wrapping.
Thanks so much. It is hard to guess the wire lengths.
Hi Kelly! Love your work. Can the stone be a heart shaped 1" by 1 1/2" instead?
You could give it a go, adapt the design to hold the stone. You can work anything into a frame just be sure to add wires in the right places to hold the stone securely ❤️
Beautiful!!! I dont have the half round for the back of the piece, what can you recommend I use or try in its place?
You can use anything really, you just need the stone to stay in place. I've doubled up 0.8mm (20g) in the past, as long as the stone is secured from the back 👍
Hi Kelly love your videos. I am just begining and have never tried it before. Can you tell me what wire you buy with maybe a uk link? Thanks
Hi, thank you. I buy from www.cooksongold.com and Metalclays4u on eBay. ❤️ have fun
Hi wonderful tutorial, thank you for sharing..I find it difficult to buy half round and also square wire, where do you get yours..
I buy my square and half round copper from riogrand in America. I find it really hard to get hold of and have to pay extra for shipping and customs fees but it's worth it 👍
Kelly Jones Jewellery I must look at that., you are right it’s worth paying the extra.. thank you so much.. your videos are wonderful xx❤️
Aw thanks so much, that really means a lot xx
I heard you say "I haven't decided yet" about the beads. Do you not do the designs at least once before you make the tutorials, or are you doing them the first time when you make the video? I know that when I watch some other peoples's they are actually are doing them for the first time, but yours are so polished that I assumed you did them at least once before.
Aww thanks so much. I have a rough idea before I start then I just go for it 😅 thanks again 💕
@@KellyJonesJewellery but you have all the lengths cut in the sizes you need. Do you do that later? Although I do recall you saying on another that you misjudged the amount of weaving wire once and had to change it. I now have realized I have to measure my wire for inventory as I make my items so maybe I'll learn too. lol It is a pain though measuring by the foot. Really slows me down. I hate it. Good old US taxes. I don't know if they are as bad in the UK.
The first weave is often referred to as the ladder weave, but everyone has different names for different weaves.
Ooo ok, thanks 👍
Kelly I don't have 1/2 round wire which is that thick. I think I only have 20 or 18 gauge. Can I use that and loop it twice for each one instead of once? Does that make sense? Thanks, Ann
As long as the stone is held from the back you'll be fine 👍😊
@@KellyJonesJewellery thank you.
Can anyone tell me if silver plated copper will tarnish.. I've heard it will but should last up to 20 yrs. thank you. I see all this wire that is silver plated and don't want to buy it if its going to tarnish in a couple years.
My experience with silver plated is that you can see the copper colour starting to show after a while. Some is coated and that does last longer.
In retrospect, do you think perhaps a 16- or even an 18-gauge wire would work best for the frame?
And perhaps even a smaller gauge for the half-round?
im not sure, i use the thicker wires for strength. you could always give it a go and see what you think to the over all strength of it...
Would 16 gauge be ok for the frame?
I think a step in either direction should be fine for the wire sizes 👍
Kelly Jones Jewellery Thanks for the super quick response!❤️
Is this tutorial available in .pdf?
Sorry no, the videos are just videos and the written ones are completely different designs. I do have a few frame pendants for sale as tutorials in my shop.
The link to your cutters does not work. What cutters do you use?
Ok thanks I'll look into that. I use tronex razor flush cutters. They're brilliant! ❤️
