My first car was an 09 TL that I got back in 2014. Traded in for an accord 2017 as a lease that same year long story lol. Then not even a year passed in 2018 got out of that lease early and traded for 2014 TL tech package. Haven’t looked back since. These cars still stand out and people are still looking for these to this day.
Im Happy for you! This car didnt do well when it came out but that's what all good cars usually does then the public will slowly realize its worth and potential as time goes by..now its getting more sought after.

You can simply connect Apple Carplay and not for 400 or 600 dollars like in our Acura and silence is, of course, silence. Is it comparable in terms of sound insulation? answer me
@maxwelll2 Acura is actually midway between regular cars and luxury..comparing it to the Audi, luxury and performance wise Audi wins..Acura is noisier inside the cabin compared to its counterparts like Audi..but Acuras will outlast those audi in a heartbeat 😊

Been driving a modded 2013 SH-awd tech w/62K miles for 6+ years and love it so much. Best handling car I've ever had. Other than regular maintenance stuff - new battery, tires, brakes, oil.. nothing has broken down since new. Bullet-proof reliability. My few gripes are it's brutal "premium" fuel consumption. And the outside seat bolsters are made with cheap vinyl and not the same material as the seating surfaces so they degrade over time. Hope that is helpful, if you're considering buying this really great car.
'13 with 62k miles? what a gem! the TL have high compression engines hence it needs high octane rating gas..u can use low octane rating of course but we can do whatever we want lol..this car is gonna turn into a classic car soon, a collectible for acura/honda followers and keeping it stock should be ok😄If Im ever going to have resources to find a new car, i think Im going for the GR Corolla, its cute lol🤣

Looking forward to new models coming 2024-25 Mazda CX-70 vs. Toyota Crown Sport SUV.. Both with PHEV. Still want power but sipping reg. Fuel. Wish me luck. Been saving cash for 2+ years.🤞

Still use my 2g 2001 Base model TL with 214k miles as a daily driver. Reliable and surprisingly nimble and quick. Fully loaded and added a GTA car kit plugged in the back harness of my stock radio for 5.0 Bluetooth. I love this 3.2l, classic vtec kicks in at 5k rpms.
I have the same 2010 in 6 mt as well and i love it! When i First bought it i had no Intentions of modifying it and was going to keep everything stock. But for you to really enjoy it and unleash its true potential you need to modify it tastefully. From air intake, full exhaust ,suspension and tuning makes it a totally different car. There aren't many cars out there that have these specs particularly naturally aspirated , 6 speed manual, all wheel and luxury sports sedan. These unicorns are becoming rare these days.
You said it spot on..definitely a unicorn by all means, manual gearbox, NA, and AWD! your TL is a gem and stunning and saw your track days nice!..mine is all stock still..not even the cosmetic A-spec Kit lol Go TL gang!💪
@@Hashira-DD I'm ma keep mine forever lol. I hope you do as well. That's a unicorn you got there as well. Just keep up with the maintenance and that thing should last a very long time. I change my oil at 50%. I switched to 5w-30 full synthetic. I only use Shell premium. I change the pcv valve every year. I also add oil stabilizer every oil change.
I agree, I think they are getting more popular and sought out after since people are finding out they have an awd 6mt to them. Most people just never knew they existed. I currently own 2012 sh-awd 6mt tl and love the drive everytime. I've owned all of the TL generations before this 4th but the 4th is my favorite. If the 3rd gen came with the awd 6mt, I think it would take my 4th gen place lol

That additional electric motor that's giving it an extra juice..the 2018 Acura MDX Sport Tech Hybrid is the same with 0-60 mph 5.8, quickest so far from the acura suvs, i wonder how quick are the new ones? type s and such
I just grabbed one last November, she's definitely heavy but quite nimble. I do like my Mazdaspeed6 shifter more but that na J series power is quite nice, been a 4cyl turbo guy for a while. The new tlx type s puts her into 3rd fastest tho!

I got the 2010 six speed manual and 2011 5 speed Auto. Both are shawd. Love these styling and like you said most of the other 2009 other model cars are not around like there Acura/Honda. Good video great commentary

@@dentpulla im not gonna make a vid on the outside of the car again intill I really get it clean clean lol. my mother just got her car back from the shop from the deer hitting the mirror and they put a after market mirror on and the whole glass was coming out the next day smdh now its back in the shop waiting for a new one.
i agree previous tl gens have better sales numbers than the 4th, lot of factors 2008 is the great recession and that 4th gen tl is expensive for a regular guy or might be the beak lol..but today resale value is great!
well the RL is actually bigger and heavier than the TL have almost the same engine as the MDX which is the 300HP engine, 0-60 usually clocks the fastest at 6sec..still quick for its size:)
@@Hashira-DD i been going to him for at least ten years and he always fixed my car the right way and he actually did my motor mounts before in my 2013 awd tl. idk what he did wrong. I think he didn't hook something back up right or some but my car straight caught on fire when I drove it bout 6 blocks from his shop. I let the car warm up like 30 min before I even moved it cause it was sitting in his shop for like a month in a half. I think the guy he had helping this time probably messed sum up cause he usually don't have nobody helping him but he helped me get in another car cause I didn't really want to go through the process of suing him cause he always charge me low to fix my car but if he wouldn't of helped then I would of. I think I need to go back to my Asian mechanic.
@@treyvon4444 I do have almost the same good mechanic for years, he didnt charge much and he's honest about the job, he'll tell you if he cant do the job beacause of his or his shop's limitations, good mechanics are rare nowadays..and your's even helped you get into another one that's a plus..get another TL!💪

The 4th gen is more relevant than ever now a days in my opinion.
