I just love how Filoni keeps referring to Ashley as Ahsoka, she is as much of the character as he put into her. It's those little details.

Watching this whole video makes me wanna cry. I can't believe Clone Wars is done. That show was great. I love Rebels, don't get me wrong, but Clone Wars was just really good. And I miss Ahsoka a lot. She is my favorite character and I love to see how much she's grown on everybody, especially people who didn't like her at the beginning. I really hope they didn't kill her off. I feel like there's more we have to see of her. Like there's still a lot we don't know. I'm honestly hoping for an Ahsoka movie, live action or animated. I need more Ahsoka!

Trust me, i'm really happy that we are getting season 7, BUT i think they should animate the other unfinished episodes as well (I'm talking about the Kashyyyk, Maul, Bounty Hunter, Ventress, Utapau Arc).

If season 7 was successful for Disney+ (episode 1-8 were slightly altered story reels because Disney was really paying for episode 9-12, but 4 episodes isn't a season), I really want them to make an animated movie version of Star Wars: Darth Maul-Son of Dathomir using the season 7 animation style.
...I wouldn't be upset if they decided to make another Lost Episodes season like they did on Netflix that would consist of Son of Dathomir, the Crystal Crisis on Utapau, and Dark Disciple.
...on second thought, just finish Clone Wars: Legacy!
The amount that Dave Filoni loves Cad Bane, I wouldn't be surprised if the Bounty Hunter arc was completed as a movie or miniseries, too. I think there is a decent chance that the Boba Fett movie that was going to be directed by James Mangold was going to adapt the storyline, especially because Mangold loves westerns (Logan is heavily influenced by westerns like Shane...and even features Shane in the background in one scene), and the plot of this storyline was heavily influenced by The Searchers. Alas...if only Solo wouldn't have bombed...
To be fair, they could make a series set between Clone Wars and Rebels that's some of these stories could fit into.
I have a feeling we will see the Kashyyyk arc in Bad Batch :D

I wish Disney would make more prequal stuff. I know they weren't the best movies but they introduced new ideas and interesting storylines that were just not handled in the best way. I mean, you can't just ignore half of Star Wars

If Disney suddenly classified all the Prequel films as non-canon I really wouldn't be surprised
I feel like Disney canceled The Clone Wars so that they could distance the series from the prequel trilogy as far away as possible.
Now i don't think that's fair at all. Sure the prequels were not good, but some of the ideas Lucas made for them were pretty neat. Sure i wouldn't have started the trilogy with Anakin as 10 years old kid and then move to him being in his 20s, however the ideas like the Sith, the Rule of Two, the concept of the Clone Wars (though i would imagine it being a bit different, with the Clone Army being at the bad guys' side the entire time), the manipulation of Anakin were all neat. The show most likely would have aired for 7 seasons if you look at all the story arcs they have either released in different forms or revealed in Celebration panels. The one i was most curious about was Darth Maul's arc and how he is waging war against Darth Sidious in Son of Dathomir comics, which i would have died to see in season 6, as well as one of Ahsoka's arcs and where she discovered a Sith Temple hidden underneath Jedi Temple and would have possibly seen Sidious himself, and especially the final arc where Ahsoka confronts Maul on Mandalore.
The Clone Wars might have had a mediocre start with the movie and the first season, but with the introduction of the Death Watch in season 2 the show was starting to get better and better with each season, and by season 5 it was at it's prime

I disagree. There are plenty of alien characters in star wars films that would work in animation too like Yoda or Maz and just the aliens in the films in general.

+WillFanofMany I think it's about the budget- sure they're unfinished but they still take time and money, resources which could be spent on other projects. Dave filoni even said it him self - They're would only make the stories that they thought would be popular and make a profit. The unfinished arcs wouldn't be on TV so no ad money, they would basically just be an expensive favor to the fans.
+TR-8R for next Mandalore I don't think they will ever finish them, which is a shame but it would be nice if they took those last couple of arcs and make TV movies out of them or sold the arcs as individual direct to DVD movies

I just adore Ashley Eckstein! It's just so awesome to see how much she embodies Ahsoka as part of her own. That backstory needs to be done in it's own side-arc of The Clone Wars. Thumbs up if you'd watch Ahsoka's Untold Tales the series!
I do want to see some of the other story arcs that don’t involve her, but I would prefer seeing all the ones about her above the others.

No offense to the directors of the main Star Wars films but I think Dave Filoni should be directing Ep 9 instead of the Jurassic world director. That movie was an embarrassment
Note that the director of episode 9 isn't writing the story, he's literally just directing the movie. He's a fantastic director and as much as we love Filoni, he hasn't done any movies of the scale of Jurassic Park.
+Trevor Estrada no I was talking about the way it was shot I absolutely hated it. The writing wasn't the issue. To me it felt like a theme park ride, the pacing of some of the shots while being introduced to the characters and park.. Which is I guess what the setting is, but just the way the cinematography was which is also another problem also not completely the directors fault.
I agree it was a bad movie.....but it was 100% because of the writing...I fail to see how the direction of that movie was what made it bad.
Trevorrow might adjust for the movie. Directors don't always follow a style. Abrams didn't make "The Force Awakens" look like "Star Trek."
+AKABoondock19 well it's subjective so for me it's mainly the beginning from the intro of the family and the two kids being introduced through the park that whole sequence as its our viewers introduction was fast paced and felt forced and let's get this out of the way had no emotional connection from that besides the sped up theme music. It literally felt like you were on a ride being force fed all the major thrills with no heart. That's just me you guys can like the way it's shot.

There's no one on the planet that's more qualified to direct a SW stand alone than Dave Filoni. He knows all the backstories w/ immense depth. He knows the worlds, the voices, and how to compose scenes. He can channel old-school Lucas because of his many in-depth conversations with him through the years. And he's been working with real actors throughout so the transition to live action should be seamless. I really hope Filoni gets chance to show his talents to a wider audience with a live action film. If not that, let him do the SW series on HBO alongside Hidalgo and the production crew of Game of Thrones.
This makes me want to cry because Ahsoka really grew onto me. She's a well developed character and her relationship with Ani, and Plo was incredible. I grew extremely attached to many of the characters in TCW. Especially Asajj Ventress.
Ahsoka Tano is my favorite Star Wars character and I absolutely loved this panel! So much insight into a character I'm happy to learn about and as soon as that Ahsoka Tano Novel is available for pre-order, I'll be buying that mutha F. Ashley is amazing and Dave is so smart n great. I want to see her return in Rebels season3

Ashley is the best actor for Ahsoka! I can not imagine anyone else playing Ahsoka other than Ashley.
I think just having her in the Togruta make up would be fine. The actress who played Shaak - Ti was able to emote fine with the makeup.

I’m curious for the original plan for the Walkabout arc with Nix instead of the Martez Sisters
Based on the Bad Batch story reels vs the final episodes, they didn't change that much. New voice acting and characters models, obviously, but I think doubt there is much add, except for maybe Maul showing up.
I do like (and this is probably why Dave and team made the change) that Lux Bonteri is still her main guy. It would have been weird if she had a new love interest for 4 episodes. Maybe Ashoka and Lux got together after the Empire was created. I would be interested in that story.
I would have preferred an arc about Ahsoka's new boyfriend over two annoying sisters.
Dave Filoni needs to get so much more credit for what he has done at Lucasfilm!! he basically saved the Star Wars franchise with The Clone Wars series (granted it wasn't good at first but still..) at a time where they were reeling from the upset of the prequels and very little Star Wars content was being produced... Dave Filoni created a series that gave OG Star Wars fans some semblance of the OG Trilogy, along with introducing a new younger audience to Star Wars, and lastly giving so much more depth to characters from the prequels. The Clone Wars series gave more context to different story points from the prequels and addressed people's frustration of things from it. Dave Filoni deserves to direct a live action Star Wars film!! It needs to happen!!
God I love Ahsoka! I watched the clone wars everyday when I was 10-14. And she as a character, particularly when I saw that movie got clone wars, I really didn't gel with. But now seeing how she has fleshed out and grown, also how masterfully she has been used on Rebels! Boy! She and Cham Syndulla are easily my two favourite canon characters and would love for them to have a role in a Star Wars story. I'm currently flying thought clone wars with my girlfriend so we can get to rebels and she hasn't seen any of them! I can't wait for this novel, jumping right to the top of my anticipation for books goes, but we will see if it stays there after this weekend! Dave, Ash, thank you for everything you do and Mr Lucas of course! I have grown with this character in life and I will follow Ahsoka's story wherever it leads. The force will be with you, always.

I love both the clone wars and rebels but clone wars was my childhood as were the prequels and even though everyone says they are bad I loved them because no matter what it is star wars and star wars is amazing! I love everything about it even the bad things. and there are no bad things! haha

Rebels is great, but FINISH CLONE WARS! Not only would it make the Clone Wars better, but it would make Rebels better too. Finishing Clone Wars would be to Star Wars animation as Rogue One was to New Hope. It would be such a profound service to the story.

What if Dave was allowed to make a set of animated episodes that tell the "Untold" Ahsoka stories ? It could be a DVD box set called Star Wars: Fulcrum. 13 episodes could tell the whole thing. Dave said it would depend of how much money it could make but I'm sure this idea would make millions of dollars and give a perfect "fill in and wrap up" to Star Wars after Clone Wars leading to Rebels.

That ahsoka vs darth sidious thing was INSANE.
To be honest, the episodes that Ahsoka was in in Rebels sucked. She was only a plot device for Vader and rarely interacted with Ghost crew, didn't even have that many scenes. Her only purpose in the shiw was to find out who Vader was, fight him and eventually get tossed out from the Series. I hoped to see MORE of her and get to KNOW more of her.

ashoka deserves to be an actual real life character in a prequel because shes significant and thinking that she served under the greatest jedi there ever is you would think she should be stronger than usual and has a lot of potential . Please don't make this unnoticed in my opinion she should either be in a seperate prequel to help the rebels probably in rogue 2 or in starwars episode 8.

I feel the same way about Ezra that I did with Ahsoka. I didnt like her at first but as the seasons progressed i started to like her alot more. Same thing is happening with Ezra. I cant wait to see the development of his character.

I'm glad they didn't stick with the wolves. Watching Rex and Ashoka trying to survive Order 66 as everything is crumbling around them was probably some of the best stuff we've seen in Star Wars.

It's so cool to come back and watch this after Season 7 of Clone Wars happened and some of these tales actually got told... especially the lead up to the siege of Mandalore.
It’s also interesting to see that the lead up episodes were changed from “beneath the Jedi Temple” to the reworked “Ahsoka’s Walkabout” arc in the final season.
I actually started to tear up when the woman from India made it this far to deliver a picture her 9-year-old daughter drew of Ahsoka to Ashley Eckstein.
