I know right! Makes me appreciate how my Polygon holds the chain without a guide.

@@basicmtb my polygon has a deore derailleur and a narrow wide front chainwheel and ive never, not once, dropped a chain
Im also old and slow, so that might have something to do with it!

@@theshedMTB I've got the same on setup on mine - Deore with a narrow-wide. I've done some pretty stupid stuff on that bike and it hasn't failed me yet!

Cheapest way to keep the chain on!

I got the DNM shock on my Hyper Explorer and it’s amazing! I noticed in this video you still have all the “just bought” stickers on yours. I removed ALL the stickers off mine so it looks less department store bike and more trail worthy. It really cleans up the look of the bike. I’m debating what I’m going to name the bike and get some decals for it. I’m thinking of naming it Dagger or Pyranha (my two favorite kayaks) since they seem like good mtb names. (I was thinking of putting Salsa decals on it, since that is my favorite bike brand, but didn’t want to use another bike brand name on it). I’ve already replaced the handlebars, forks (cheap but actually compress), rear shock, stem, and petals. My next two upgrades are going to be a new headset with sealed bearings and quick releases for the wheels. Im also thinking of putting mtb decals on the rims to make them look like real rims. Lol.

I've heard good things about the DNM shocks/forks, but never had one myself. Did you remove just the warning stickers or the "Hyper" brand stickers too? And I agree, might be weird putting a different brand sticker on. A shorter stem is on my to-do list for sure - that will make the bike's head tube angle "feel" a bit more slack. Any good pics? @@basicmtb Yes I removed all the stickers including the Hyper ones. The forks I put on are just cheap mtb forks from another department store bike. The ones that were on my Hyper kept sticking, couldn’t really use it. I might end up getting the Bucklos air forks but we’ll see.
