Hey Guys!! They made a ton of changes to the old legendary weapon quests that many people I talk to seemed to have missed!! So I wanted to share exactly what’s changed!!
The quest chain to get access to Eintou seems to start in Great Cleave with James Sexton who can be found on top of the outpost wall giving a quest called 'Shadows Cast By A Final Salute'.
Is there any possibility you can do a short video about what all the code words mean in the global and other chats? I have no idea what I am reading. Been loving the videos!
buy purples 590+ with Ward and Weapons with Bane and u are ready to do all Mutations including Mut10, the rest is skill and expedition mechanics knowledge
A few weeks back I started grinding weapon mastery quests like you recommended here, and you're right, it's a great way to solo farm orbs and shards. I usually net 10-15 orbs a day for a few hours of effort, and a lot of the places can be cheesed when you can't outright solo them. Corruption and Ancient Ward gear might also helpful for some. Also, about your hotbar... Thirsty?
Unfortunately, I completed most of these chains when they were first introduced before gypsum was even a thing. I also did the long grind to 600 gear score pre-expertise and did all my professions to 200 before the requirements were reduced. After all this I was extremely burnt out on the grind and left the game for a year. Now that I'm back I'm feeling kind of screwed by all these changes. Not to say that any of them are bad changes but I'm definitely bitter about the time I wasted when the game first launched. So for any new players the best advice I could offer if you're feeling like something is too grindy in New World? Quit playing for a few months to a year and wait for it to be patched down to something trivial lol
Yup, I did the same, all crafts/gathers, etc. (except music) to 200, and all but 2 weapons to level 20. Now, they hand things out like candy. But that's the way of MMO's. Not just this one, but all of them. Been that way since y first MMO in 1999.
I just soloed this weapon quest for the fire staff and found it was very fun. I used a 600GS fire staff with corrupted bane and armor with corrupted ward. It was a kick in the crotch to get a 580GS fire staff at the end but it was tons of fun to get pulled to areas of the map that I have not visited in some time.
@@5HeadSurvivalGaming Yes, for a fresh 60 it's quite hard to wrap your head around the fact that you need 10 gypsum orbs for upgrading heartrune, with will set you back a day or two from your expertise or umbral shard grind. Doing these quests will help. At least it's something to do solo until waiting for Barnacles or Tempest expedition, that give gypsum orbs for completing an expedition (the repeatable quest)
Hey man love your content im following so many of your guides and really enjoying the game! I was wondering where do you get all your dooe looking outfits from are they ones purchased from the store or just really good looking pieces of gear?
I just grinded expertise in Genesis regular runs. In 2 days I had all my armors at 600 and my main weapons as well. Id say its a waste of orbs to spend pre 600..
Thank you so much! I’ve just started a road to 500k series on my channel and this has helped. Not because it’s a crazy money maker but because I can use this to upgrade my ward gear so I can run higher mutations!! I think I made 5-7K Gold for completing two of these quest so it’s a good and different grind.
Getting weapons to 20 now is ridiculously easy compared to what it once was.. but as for them making it more chill, these quests used to want you to kill 30-40 mobs .. not 8
Recently people start selling massively their major loot luck trophies as it seems to trigger another ''how much luck is good and how much is too much'' can u give ur comment on that?
There is no "too much luck" , luck is a weird stat in this game and so many buckets are affected differently by it.. some loot locked, others have the ceilings capped, others don't.. so the issue is more about understanding how luck interacts with the specific item you are farming
@@TheMasterwitcher I'm a healer and can solo anything in brimstone with focus gear and the brimstone quest GS without respeccing, but if you want to believe it's not possible the suit yourself :)

Does the pre-requisite side quests in Great Cleave and Edengrove include the Expedition quests? Keep up the great guides man, I appreciate them a lot!

Well they are super fast now, and wont take long, I buzzed through them in a couple hours on this character for the video

Ya, they truly are useless lol, but adding these orbs at least makes the quests worth doing

Don't forget the 2 orbs from using the potion to get 10 drops from 55+ mobs. Very quick to do everyday.

@@klirmio21 drink Topaz Gypsum poition, once a day you get 10 drops with loot to make 2 casts. Have to kill 55+ mobs
All quests from ReekWater,and white maps and some of Quests on Ebonscale gives Gipsum Orbs, they make this update months ago
Yep, but the weapon quest chains where not updated till brimstone, before that they did not

when your gear is 600 + you can essentially. 400 shards per cast at 625
does this quest for gypsum, repeatable like the one on Tempest Church?
No, but there are 12 quest chains, so roughly 120 gypsum orbs you can get from these chains

611 average gear score and every cast is always below 600, usually in 590s.
Well yeah. But anything 590+ is eligible to be upgraded with shards

Are these quests repetable?
No but there are around 120 orbs worth total
Does the quests reset everyday ?
No it is 1 time, however this was just an example, there are 12 chains, offering roughly 115-121 orbs total
but only if u have all the weapons on lvl 20. no use if you only have one or two weapons on 20.
@@TheMasterwitcher Easy enough to level up other weapons if you go do the Thorpe event in Great Cleave
@upta as a healer I don't have the necessary armor for anything else but focus. Maybe strength users have it easier, but respecing is still costly

Sure you can; use greatsword and lifestaff and just keep your normal focus/con setup. GS is stupidly OP
