Hello Dino, Before going for R15s in September 2016, I watched your unbiased review of it. Thanks to you. After the purchase, many criticized me for my decision that I would have backache issues and wrist aches. Because I already complained about aches, thanks to sedentary work/lifestyle. I even had spondylosis some years ago. So this bike appeared a challenge. The bike caught my attention because it combined power, looks, sporting and finally the unibody seat as if to appeal to family people :) Am a family man. Meaning to say even a married couple can travel on performance bike with ease such as R15s.. This would've been a huge issue with split seat bikes. 4 months on....I have not even had any ISSUE of body aches from using this bike except the day 1 when I took delivery of the bike. I traveled many times 160 kms (onward journey) non-stop for 3 hours; not even stopping for chai or nature's call :) Yet NO BACKACHE. Previously I owned Yamaha Libero. Just a short travel would give me the dreaded ache around the area of your body where your belt covers. I was worried as to how I could enjoy bike riding (never liked cars) anymore and that Libero was nearly 12 years old, it was time to get a new bike. But I was sure that any bike with the upright seating posture would cause issues for me. Bottom-line is Yamaha R15s is a blessing for me. The seating posture is just apt for me otherwise my biking days might have come to an end. I have the green-black one. It looks amazing better than the other colour variants. I take great care of my bike. I can't take eyes of my bike. Even during my office break times, I'll check if my bike's okay. I never ride rashly or no sudden revving. Maybe that's why it gives me good mileage. I never let others ride my bike. I stick to the user manual. I use premium petrol. All of these care has kept my bike in good condition. R15s saved my back..... :)

I took a test ride in a showroom and immediatly booked for matte red color...they said it will take 2 months...but after 2 weeks I went to the showroom to check for a tentative date...fortunately for me 2 vehicles where readily available..one white and one matte black...I didn't think twice and went for the matte black model..
+dinesh kumar Bro, you can bring this to the notice of the company such that they can do something about it. Actually, test ride is mandatory for every model available in the showroom. There might be some reasons why dealers are unable to provide test rides, but you can share the same to the company guys such that they can do something about this.
SF and New Karizma are pricing are almost equal. Karizma host a powerful engine then SF ... Which bike should I choose. Priorities are comfortable long rides...
R15 is another level bike. Don't compare it with any ordinary bikes. R15-S is also available nowadays. Its more comfortable than V2.0. Its more stylish and good looking than gixxer.Still R15 is comparing with 200cc bike only (except for cbr150). I'm using my R15 for almost 5years, still no complaints. So treat your bike well. Only problem is its mileage about 35-40kmpl only. But performance is very very good compared to any other 150cc bike.Anyway the comparing shootout was nice :)

+Aniket_ _Chhabra There shouldn't be any problem so long as the technician who is executing the additional lights work is an experienced one. Please ensure the wiring is not messed up. Honestly, I haven't seen RRP exhaust installed on RE bikes first hand. I know the Red Rooster Performance exhaust is quite popular, but I haven't seen it yet on an RE bike. I have seen and heard the wild boar exhaust and I guess that sounds great buddy.

Bt now i feel i choosed wrong coz its power is not impressive at all(in my view) hence except power its a great bike.. Awesome cruising, control at high speed but now wanna upgrade. Should i go for rs200 now? Or any other good looking bike under 2 lakh... M 6ft tall... Or should i keep gixxer sf

+Sandeep Kh Bro, most of the mechanics out there are familiar with carb engines, so you can get the issue fixed even in a remote area. Very few people are trained in repairing fuel injected engines. Carb units can be repaired, but in case of fuel injected engines, we would need to replace parts directly. This has just been my observation. Air cooled engines do better in hotter conditions like our nation. Liquid cooled engines are more suited for European conditions where the weather is cooler.
someone told me dat the headlight assy or shock absorber or fairing will get brocken or damaged easily while riding in bad roads. is dat true. are they strong enough only on smooth roads? that comment made me so bad.

Need good lighting focus, Great Tyre Grip, Great Handling, Perfect switching Gear system.The great suspension also for the pillion. please suggest some of the rough and tough bikes. what about Suzuki Gixxer and Suzuki GS150R? Maybe U laugh at me but I also thinking about TVS Victor 2016 as it has one of the biggest available seats in India, Light focus is very good, and ground clearance is 175 kilometre. I really want all these features in 150 cc segment especially IN Gixxer or Suzuki bike but NO one is providing. Guide me dude. Is there any chance to modify seats to get the best pillion comfort to her without compromising rider comfort? Say something Brother. M confused I just fall in LOVE with Suzuki Gixxer!!!!!
y dont u go for himalaya re. as i ride a gixxer sf i like the bike very much no problems... but it many times touches the speedbreaker due to less ground clearance.

i dont know why suzuki had copy the colour of Yamaha and the rest. for me i like their masterpiece colour ie Dark red. but, this day they copied from other company( specially in red colour) please make again the specific red colour. that's look good and also attraction. +muthu palaniappan Both are good in their own special ways. CBR gets a DOHC setup whereas the R15 gets an SOHC setup. DOHC setup allows the engine to breathe easy and puts less strain on the engine as we rev harder. So you can see that CBR puts out more power when compared to R15 and revs higher as well up to 10,500 rpm. The initial torque however is better for R15.

What is rear radial? What does it do?

radial types have a more rounded profile then the normal ones. rear radial just means that the rear tyre of bike is radial but front might not be.

If you want good value for money, then SF is best. If you don't mind paying extra and would like better quality and performance, then go with R15-S.
