I almost like her.. i can survive in jungle for life.
I am sure she is exhausted. Very intense labor project whether or not she has back up help. It could have been easier but the end result is pretty which counts for a lot. I think this may last a few seasons since it's a raised platform and dry. Once again she brings it. Missed my chance a hundred years ago but if you want a jewel for a gf or wife she is right there.
question? How does she deal with the gaps in between the wood-walls, and the gaps between the walls and the tiles of the roof where cold air would blow in?

Amazing. No fuss. There they are - a fleet of homes. She seems so focussed. Either a rooster, ox or rat. But definitely a no nonsense approach.

Anyone who believes that she will build it herself is a fool. She does not always use the measuring band - only it always uses it according to the eye and everything is perfectly long , does not even sweat when working ... Anyone who has ever built an apartment just a dog kennel knows what it all entails and how long it takes At the filming will always be stop -5 guys will run -build a piece of house then they put a saw in her hand and continue filming and so on and on until it is built in a few days - notice how the daytime changes during the whole video as the sun shines differently etc... Well as I say who believes that she builds it herself is a fool but to look it's ok
@Techrecycle4u Surely your opinion is yours. No one is taking it away from you. I'm just saying it's a bit unrealistic - if you agree that it took her several days to build, then how come she still has a clean and unsweaty dress? did she wash them 2 times in the river every day during construction? I warn that she is building this house in some m rainforest there is a lot of humidity ... But I don't want to refute your belief in this super woman. I would just like to see the whole construction of the house without interruption sometimes, for example, in some acceleration of 1:50 1:100 that would only earn the whole truth

42 minutes end to end and cooked supper. It took me 3 hours to build a squirrel proof feeder - which works, by the way. A shame I didn't film it. Then it would have taken 5 minutes to build it and fix my blisters.
Dense Forest... then perfect clearing? All old growth... then young pre-cut trees? Bamboo that grows in neat dry bundles. I love these builds but let's not get carried away. All of her stuff is about 40 feet from her precleared site all ready for her to grab it and put this up. Just like the guys that build this stuff.

Love your videos, around 19:28 when you start inserting the perfectly sized logs into the frame to form the wall, how did you measure the right length for each piece? Was it one by one or a bunch aT a time?

@@maxmad9425 Someone's quite the neilist eh? I could tell within 2 minutes the video was not an actual excerpt from someone doing a survival exercise because the logs have dark ends, which typically means they were cut by a machine. However, seeing the process of how something like this can be done is quite instructional.
As well, if @BGS Member reads this, as stated above she clearly doesn't do all of this on her own, where as other bushcraft channels are spending a LOT of time looking around for dead/fallen trees and actually making things from complete scratch. Not to say this video is bad, it's really cool to see how this could be done. But to imply that all of this is EXACTLY as showcased is a little silly.
That's what I was thinking but you r still the best way to build at less you are trying to make a secure home and a safe place to stay in a great talented skills you have a great talented life straight up for you and your family and may god bless you all for giving her a talented skills.

Excellent video. An interesting design for the cabin and skillfullyl built. I always find it fascinating that the builder leaves and then returns with the necessay building materials - sort of like there's a Home Depot just around the corner.

That invisible Home Depot is in all building channels. Naturally, it takes the solo builders in these channels about more than a week to build these shelters and they have to show it in 30-40 minutes to us. So this requires some heavy editing. It is well understood then, each of these solo builders is taking help from his or her team. But this is okay as far as I am concerned. The point is, each of them could build the shelter alone in 6 months. But they have to upload videos sooner. This lady does not only have remarkable building talent, she has a wonderful sense of aesthetics and cleanliness as well. And I am glad she has a team because it is not safe for women to be alone in the forest unless they are some kind of characters Lara Croft plays. She has a team of around 15 people I guess. She is the heroine of the show. But it is a nice show.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BEND YOUR BACK TO GET INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE. YOU CAN MAKE MORE HEIGHT THE ENTRANCE AND THE ROOF.

Do you have idea of what you want to build before you go into woods/forest; do you draw a design you want to build and figure out what you will need to complete each build and are the shelters reused after you complete them; you make some amazing buildings and shelters

Nice build. It makes me want to build my own fort in the woods near my place. I worry about flooding in your other builds. I'm happy to see this small cabin. Building this is like chicken for you.

What happens to these shelters after filming? are they ecer used again or abandoned or destroyed?
Probably used again. It seems like a lot of hassle for a structure to only be used once.
