@@dgoodin24 that little bar on the far right of the HUD is the weight jacker, if I’m remembering correctly: down is looser and up is tighter. Also if I remember correctly you adjust it via the right stick up/down. Adjusting that as the race goes on is a world of help
I loved this game. I was in a league for this game on Xbox. So many great memories of perfecting a setup all week to run the weekly league race. Some of my best memories on Xbox live
Indycar 2005 has a PS2 port but was only released in PAL regions, still you can emulate it on PCSX2 which is easier to run since PAL is 50fps instead of 60fps.
Love your videos of course but i really wish you wouldn't keep restarting the races after a mistake. Much more interesting to see you work your way back through the field.
Wasn't this made by Brain In A Jar and published by Codies or was that the (also equally as unforgiving) original? And does this finally work on PCSX2 now. FOr years, it was one game that never worked on emulators though

I had thought the pace car also had the 2 green arrows above it on the starts. But of the struggles of this game.

Is there no option for throttle position or is it just all or nothing on throttle?
There would be on the original console as the xbox controllers had proper analogue triggers.
