Ep.12 - Getting emotional! Radiator installed means it's so close to starting! | Cali MK1 Part 12

Well this one got me right in the feels when I realised how close I am to being able to fire this thing up! I installed the radiator from S&P Automotive as well as the last of the engine bay wiring. The radiator is super cool; it's designed to fit the MK1 chassis with VR6 swaps in mind, and is standalone from the ECU. Just wire in 2 grounds and a fused 12V and that's it! The thermostat in the radiator controls the fans.

Did you put rubber mounts under the radiator? If not, when the fans kick in it might vibrate and rattle on the body. Fuel pump mounts work well and slightly lift the radiator too.

I did put some dense 1/4” foam under the radiator!
