Hey Brett, I must have stumbled on your videos because I'm a fan of your father's videos. I think he's a super smart dude. I don't find myself to be as much as a Republican/conservative as I understand he is. I found myself more in the center somewhere. Neither right or left. Anyways, I do know a little bit about astrology. I studied a lot in my early twenties however I don't believe in astrology. My main goal for studying was to see if I can prove a true or false to myself. So far it seems true but I'm not going to believe it until I'm able to guess people's signs without knowing their birth date. There is more to astrology than just the birth sign, the sun sign. The sun sign supposedly relates to more of an energy that looks like an ego in a person's character. The other planets supposedly produce other energies that are supposed to also shape the character of a person. When I stumble upon someone that I find interesting I'll do like to pull up a birth chart of theirs and study it a bit. I recently found myself interested in seeing what your birth chart look like but I could not find it on the internet which is how I stumbled upon this video. Maybe, if you're comfortable enough, could you let me know your birth information so that I can look at your birth chart? The information needed is birth date, time, and city of birth. If not that's fine. I understand that a lot of people don't like to release that information. However if you do decide to give me that information maybe don't do it in these comments.

Yep. At the very most each sign has maybe one trait that isn’t so vague that most people will relate. I’ve found if you ask what sign someone is and then read them the supposed traits of another sign they’ll likely agree with it before realizing you’re not describing their sign.
Because growing up, people didn’t pretend to be experts on things they didn’t really read up on. No zodiac sign is inherently bad, people just westernized astrology and turned it to bs. It’s much more in depth than just a few stars

I'm January Aquarius so I can kind of relate; my friend who's a Leo is always stereotyped and he's a really sweet person too, he doesn't really act that mean but he's indifferent to people and kinda toxic but when you catch him in his moments it's like he's this sweet sensitive nature geek; so that's why no one should ever judge someone based on their sign.
As a Scorpio (and also as someone who doesn't really care for or really believe in the Astrology concept either), I can't help but notice the consistent hatred directed towards us in this comments section. Very curious about why though.
Scorpios hide their feelings very well, and when they are angry at someone, they know exactly what to say to hit their opponent where it hurts the most. Often time, they come out to others as hypocrite because of that, but they usually are very deep, and they don't open up much but when they do they are some of the most interesting people. As for Gemini, they are known as "two-faced", we never really what is to be expected but they tend to also have multiple interests and abilities in succeed fairly well in all of them so yeah. There are reasons to hate and love every sign. Also btw I follow sidereal astrology usually Wich is a bit different than tropical one and much more accurate
@Andrew Edmonds I think people think it's real so they can "get" past actually taking the time to know someone and judge them on a personality they don't have just based on when they were born. It is so stupid af and I hate being judged for a personality I don't even have 😒
@@morganjones4292 you are actually wrong, there is nobody I ever thought was not worth talking to based on their birth chart. Everyone is inherently interesting, each in their own way and it just actually allows to get right to the core of someone, but a chart implies much more than the sun sign. Sun sign refers to the ego, but what you relate to on an intellectual or emotional level and in which aspects of your life it manifests will vary depending on the position of other planets, and the way the relationship they have. In any case, I can understand that most people don't go that deep and superficial understanding will lead to unfounded discrimination, but not everyone who believes in astrology is a bigot.

@Wilma KOvacs I have the best coach in the USA, Dee Falks (author of Inner Archery). It took years for me to find someone who's actually a coach, there are a ton of clueless people who are certified to coach. Just about anyone can shoot, (look up Matt Stutzman, he's freaking amazing) and you're never too old to start. It's a sport you can do your whole life if you so choose; you can even leave and come back years later unlike many other sports.
There are traits on every one of them that we can relate to. Nothing is 100% It's silly as the Chinese horoscope. I'll start one someday using Yu-Gi-Oh cards. "You are a Blue eyes white dragon"

Funny story, I used to just call bullshit on astrology as a whole, but my mom always believed in it. For about 2 years, starting when I was 16, she would save my horoscope for each month, and show it to me at the end of the month, and it was honestly unsettling just how accurate it was. About 90% of the time, it was dead on with what had happened that month. Those are better odds than you'll get from the weather report and people structure parts of their lives around that, so now I buy into astrology

okayyyy as someone who is actually a little knowledgeable in the whole astrology realm (🤓) i can confirm with 100% certainty libras are NOT a hated/disliked sign. Y‘all are ruled by literal venus, are usually very attractive and literally RADIATE harmony in all aspects of self!!! As a sagittarius, I strongly believe that the libra "champion procastinator" title is inaccurate. I personally own that category, heck I'm procrastinating at this very moment.

Before anyone talks about astrology, it’s important to do your individual birth chart. It’s unfair to talk about it with no idea how it works. There’s people that are billionaires that use astrology (hire astrologers) make a video but hire an astrologer to read your birth chart, you will be shocked of how deep it goes. ❤
I've always felt like there's more than one version of a star sign, like how the Chinese zodiac has multiple different types of one animal. there's a number of factors that come into play that will place you in a various category of said sign, which is why when looking through all the various qualities you notice that there's a lot you have while at the same time coming across qualities you don't possess. most of the time people just group all the different versions together in one broad statement

If people are on the fence about astrology, (not the ones who think it’s utter BS, but those who want to know more), have your star chart done. I’ve heard it’s eye opening. I’m an Aquarius that fits maybe 2% of their blanket term of Aquarius. So yeah, I think most astrology is just a blanket explanation of your traits and then has you figure out how you fit into the universe.
Hey Brett, love what I've seen so far. So, Astrology uses tricks to seem correct. Another less devious example of this is in hockey. Did you know most hockey player have their birthday in the same three months of the year? it's the three months where the child is the oldest compare to the other players on their teams in children's leagues. We have a cutoff where some is the oldest in one grade, instead of the youngest in the next. Because of school being an arbitrary breakdown we put on society, certain people are experiencing the same situations at different ages. September 1st is the US grade cutoff so libras are the first group that's 100% past the cutoff, making libras always the oldest in the class. A child that is 8 months older than another could have gone through a whirlwind of hormones and changes. All of the zodiacs have little quirks like this, and the less "normal" your life is, the less these stereotypes apply to you. If, in you're acting, you had tutors instead of going to public school, that's something that would make you different from a "normal" libra. To base it off the stars is nonsense, but if you focus of the systems we force everyone to go through, it's a bit like saying "oldest children always [insert rude comment here]." I hope this is a good tool for you if you need to shoot down an astrology girl.

My oldest sister is a Libra and in the words of her daughter, is the meanest person I know and she's the sweetest person I know. She's outspoken, very opinionated and has no qualms about speaking her mind. Especially when it comes to politics!

I'm an Aries and I hate libras because it isn't "over confidence" it's 100% arrogance. I had a libra friend and he always acted so superior. We would always get in fights because I'd call out his insincere bs Libras want to believe they are unique to the point they will act fake to be different. Like he would belittle me if I liked a mainstream song and things of that nature. He told me that I "hurricane his shit up." Because libras have this image that they put out and might actually believe themselves to be but a lot of it is superficial and so I would force him to face the parts of him that were not genuine and of course that is a blow to the ego, especially if you pride yourself on being authentic. Aries are the best types of people and I'm not saying that just because I am one. Every close friend I've had has been an Aries. We are honest, loyal, and passionate and those are the type of people you want in your corner. If you do right by us we will never forget it and if you ever need anything we will be there in a second. I also really like Aquarius people. They have this sort of go with the flow thing, very open, accepting people. I know some people think it's all bs but I've studied magic and as above so below is reality. Everything is connected.

I'm a Virgo and embody some of the anal retentiveness attributed to this sign. My ex was into it. She was a Taurus, and a real bull in a china shop. I think generalizations are just that. We all have general personality traits. So it doesn't hold much water for me. Personally, people need to learn how to date, and be able to judge other peoples personalities. If they don't fit you, move on.

I’m a Libra. We are the weakest sun sign because we are so much about other people. That makes us the most human sign too. We are weak but that’s why we’re so lovely.

There is also moon sign, ascendant sign, all the planets signs. The sun is strongest at 10 degrees Aries and debilitated or detriment (can’t remember) at 10 Libra. The sun is all Me Me Me! So being an other-focused Libra is the weakest personality. The sun is your ego or “soul”. The moon represents your emotions, it is exalted in Taurus because it is the most stable, dry sign. Debilitated in Scorpio which is rough waters. Also Mars is your action, it is exalted in Capricorn which has the maturity - but drowning in a puddle in Cancer. I have Moon in Taurus and Mars in Cancer in my chart. My rising sign is Pisces so my sun sign is in the 7th house, which is also the relationship stage like Libra.

@@truerandomchannel it’s two different things. There are books by Linda Goodman called Star Signs , and Sun Signs. It’s sacred geometry its mathematically perfect. The archetypes are a life cycle.

Meaning from earth, in the sky, the sun was in the position of Libra and all the other planets had positions and the earth had a position in rotation that means that one sign was on the horizon when you were born. The chart of the stars of your birth have 360 degrees starting with the horizon line, divided into twelve 30 degree segments which show the positions of the stars and planets in our rotation. Based on what time of day you were born, the sun and planets will be in different conjunction with the chart. The twelve houses of the chart represent different aspects of our lives that we below, see represented in the stars and planets above. So basically yes I meant sun sign.

Funny story, I used to just call bullshit on astrology as a whole, but my mom always believed in it. For about 2 years, starting when I was 16, she would save my horoscope for each month, and show it to me at the end of the month, and it was honestly unsettling just how accurate it was. About 90% of the time, it was dead on with what had happened that month. Those are better odds than you'll get from the weather report and people structure parts of their lives around that, so now I buy into astrology

I've always felt like there's more than one version of a star sign, like how the Chinese zodiac has multiple different types of one animal. there's a number of factors that come into play that will place you in a various category of said sign, which is why when looking through all the various qualities you notice that there's a lot you have while at the same time coming across qualities you don't possess. most of the time people just group all the different versions together in one broad statement

If people are on the fence about astrology, (not the ones who think it’s utter BS, but those who want to know more), have your star chart done. I’ve heard it’s eye opening. I’m an Aquarius that fits maybe 2% of their blanket term of Aquarius. So yeah, I think most astrology is just a blanket explanation of your traits and then has you figure out how you fit into the universe.
Hey Brett, love what I've seen so far. So, Astrology uses tricks to seem correct. Another less devious example of this is in hockey. Did you know most hockey player have their birthday in the same three months of the year? it's the three months where the child is the oldest compare to the other players on their teams in children's leagues. We have a cutoff where some is the oldest in one grade, instead of the youngest in the next. Because of school being an arbitrary breakdown we put on society, certain people are experiencing the same situations at different ages. September 1st is the US grade cutoff so libras are the first group that's 100% past the cutoff, making libras always the oldest in the class. A child that is 8 months older than another could have gone through a whirlwind of hormones and changes. All of the zodiacs have little quirks like this, and the less "normal" your life is, the less these stereotypes apply to you. If, in you're acting, you had tutors instead of going to public school, that's something that would make you different from a "normal" libra. To base it off the stars is nonsense, but if you focus of the systems we force everyone to go through, it's a bit like saying "oldest children always [insert rude comment here]." I hope this is a good tool for you if you need to shoot down an astrology girl.

I'm an Aries and I hate libras because it isn't "over confidence" it's 100% arrogance. I had a libra friend and he always acted so superior. We would always get in fights because I'd call out his insincere bs Libras want to believe they are unique to the point they will act fake to be different. Like he would belittle me if I liked a mainstream song and things of that nature. He told me that I "hurricane his shit up." Because libras have this image that they put out and might actually believe themselves to be but a lot of it is superficial and so I would force him to face the parts of him that were not genuine and of course that is a blow to the ego, especially if you pride yourself on being authentic. Aries are the best types of people and I'm not saying that just because I am one. Every close friend I've had has been an Aries. We are honest, loyal, and passionate and those are the type of people you want in your corner. If you do right by us we will never forget it and if you ever need anything we will be there in a second. I also really like Aquarius people. They have this sort of go with the flow thing, very open, accepting people. I know some people think it's all bs but I've studied magic and as above so below is reality. Everything is connected.
