    A gorgeous set of photos, Irene! 11:00 is my favorite one, I love the composition, the leading line your arm created, and then the 'swoop' of fabric made around your neck and shoulder, pulling the eye to your face and leading back around the whole composition, the colors are also fantastic! I also love the last two outfits, especially the black one, but they both reminded me of 1950/60's Vogue magazine fashions. Beautiful!

    And then She says "I don't like taking photos of me, I don't know I just don't think I’m pretty enough"
    Irene Your models are beautiful but when you self-model, I see a more director’s cut from you because you know exactly what you want and how you want it. You look Gorgeous!
    As much as I love you snapping models away. I still prefer that the model be you. (I bet many others would agree with me)
    You give us another sense of being a photographer.
    Love you Irene!
    Keep doing what you do!

    Gray or other colored bed sheets can be used as back drops. And, spring-loaded shower curtain rods can be fit into doorways, etc. Small clamps obtained at hardware stores can hold the to the curtain rods already on windows. There are lots of ways to create free backdrops, including using plain or textured walls. Even patterned wall paper is good if shot far enough behind the subject to add a blur.

    Found out how to make my own backdrops like this one. Saves so much money and time. Well maybe not time but you get the point. Depending on how big you make them the money spent on one of Kate backdrops you could probably make 5 or more. As far as the quality of photos Irene creates that takes time and patience

  • @hectorsimagesphotography2567

    • @IreneRudnyk
      @IreneRudnyk  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is no fill or backlight. The overhead light fixture in the room has absolutely no effect in the image as a flash overpowers it.
      There is just one source of light which is on camera flash bounced from the wall

    I still use a 430EX mkii I purchased well over 10 years ago mainly as a travel flash. My 2nd flash is a 580EX mkII which is pretty good bit kit. I also have a Slik Sprint Pro tripod again purchased well over 10 or 12 years ago for travel. Any sturdy large form tripod is fine for home / studio work as you requested not worried about is size or weight for transporting. Irene is giving sound advice on what area of walls to bounce flash from. You also use big reflectors, white card, white bed sheets, form etc if you have a dark styled room at home.
