Thanks for giving Kenya a chance @IvainTures. I hope you got the chance to use an Uber or Bolt for better rates. Unfortunately, the cost of fuel/gas has escalated in Kenya, making it hard for taxi drivers to make ends meet. I saw you with Priya in her vlog and couldn't wait to watch you in Kenya. As a Kenyan myself, I can tell you are authentic and upright. I also love the quality of your content. Please keep at it.
The embassy gentleman has made me proud to be Kenyan, welcoming, articulate, kind absolute professional, he marketed the whole country as well, hongera sanakwa huyo mzee
Always interesting seeing our country through the fresh eyes of a visitor. Quite impressive i must say. For sure we don't appreciate what we have enough
Welcome to Kenya brother 👊 Tip for the travellers: Never ever talk to the taxi brokers at the airport. Uber/ Bolt/ Taxify is always cheaper. You were charged about 3 times the usual price to Westlands.
you are small minded and lying. The Uber can be hailed by another customer. A regular taxi cannot just park anywhere so he has to drive back to the airport without a customer. Speak facts not lies.
@@TheSparkAfrica 🤣😂😂 matusi ni ya nini? Ama, you're one of those taxi drivers taking advantage of pple at the airport? Chill bro, it's never that serious.
I’m catching up on your Kenya content and I like what your focus and presentation is for the most part. Loved your driver from the airport - hope he gets his wish of a Nyama Choma joint. Keep it up and enjoy! We just want good content.🇰🇪🇺🇸🙏🏾💕
We actually don’t eat bush meat in Kenya. We mainly eat pork, lamb, goat, beef and chicken. The most “bush meat” some eat is rabbit. But it’s not common. That restaurant is the only place that serves unique meats and most people haven’t even gone there before
Welcome to Kenya @IvainTures. I was really looking forward to the start of your Kenyan series. Uber, Bolt, Little Cab, Faras, InDiver etc are all taxi apps available in Kenya. It is better to insist on using them or at least find the going rate if you are going to negotiate. The guy that got you the cab was basically a broker and he bumped up the price and "sold" you to the real taxi guy. He even topped the price by saying he was going to use the Nairobi expressway something he didn't tell the driver. The expressway would have given you sweeping views of Nairobi from above and would have been more enjoyable and beautiful. Now a few corrections from the driver, the only animals not in Nairobi national park is the elephants since the park is not being enough and doesn't have enough vegetation for them but the lions are there. Also Kenya is 85-90% Christian with Muslim accounting for much of the rest. The tallest building is Britam Towers in Nairobi's Upper Hill District where most corporate HQ's are based. The building he showed you is like the 3rd tallest. There's much to do and see in Nairobi just like the rest of Kenya. Westlands has a wide array of restaurants serving all types of international cuisines, big, beautiful malls, amazing nightlife from many night spots. Nairobi Street kitchen etc. In the South of Nairobi you have Nairobi national park, Giraffe centre, Shedrick Elephant Orphanage, Bomas of Kenya where Kenya's culture/tribes are displayed in song and dance, Uhuru Gardens museum etc. North of Nairobi you have Karura forest within the city, the largest highway/freeway in the country and in the West you have most of the high end leafy, rich suburbs of Nairobi. You can also visit the biggest mall in East and Central Africa called Two Rivers mall. Kilimani neighbourhood is a good spot to check out and rivals Westlands in many aspects. Also check out the Nairobi expressway for amazing drive and views from up top. Lastly, check out the KICC building in the city centre for the view of the city from one of Kenya's tallest buildings. I hope this helps and once again welcome to Nairobi, Kenya.
Alex thanks for correcting obvious mistakes by the driver he actually doesn't know what he's saying.Ivan can get around and learn more if you were his guide,he should get in touch with you

Kenya is so beautiful I really love the mindset of English speaking African countries. They are all about building from ground zero to the top. Rwanda, South Africa, Ethiopia all these countries are well developed and equipped in term of infrastructure. Unlikely like in my country where others think roads and infrastructures do not serve as a good purpose because they are starving. SMH
