Man, you don't know how amazing this is for me to watch - I grew up mountain biking in Burns lake (I currently live in Victoria) and I always tell people how much the north has to offer, but people down south have very little concept of the north and they often ask, "that's near whistler, right?!", which makes me chuckle... Thanks for exposing the greatness of the north for all your viewers and the bike trails, too, of course!!!!
The dance on the mountains, thats was one of the best MTB channel sequences Ive ever seen. And up here we all carry thermacell mosquito repellers, they are a life saver.
This brings me back to my first memories of mountain biking. I grew up at the bottom of some mountains as a teen and my buddies and I would spend hours climbing on roads and trails to earn that sweet sweet descent. It was a lot more poetic (would I dare romantic ?) than park riding and this video brought me right back to these days.
bro as much as mtb is like the absolute best thing ever created, seeing Eric and Yuka interact is the most wholesome thing ever. That dance on the Ridgeline was the best mix of romance buety and film production. not to mention how hard I was laughing lmaooo

There's this stuff called "Avon Skin So Soft" (aka Triple S) which just happens to be a fantastic bug repellent without DEET. I use it. It's amazing. And the little dance thing on the ridge was awesome!!

I love that BC is big enough and still mostly empty enough that you could "burn" or "blow up" some amazing secrets like this, but unless it's 5 min away from Starbucks and WiFi you don't actually have to worry about much of a crowd showing up. All the best spots are way out there and hardcore enough to keep the riffraff at away!
Thanks for the mosquito reminder. We don't really have any and I've forgotten how terrible a scourge they are. Something to keep in mind next time I venture out to wetter places.
