  • Knee brace comparison video - • Moto knee brace review...
I've had my Mobius Knee braces for a little over a year now and put over 100 hours of riding on them. Everything from trail rides, to races, to dual sporting.
I've been very happy with them and find them comfortable, protective, and durable. Despite their appearance, I don't find them hot or bulky and hardly notice them when riding. They're also holding up extremely well so far.
Compared to other knee braces and knee protection I've tried so far (Leatt Enduro Guards, MSR knee protectors, Donjoy, CTI, and POD braces...etc), these are definitely my overall favorite and I highly recommend them.

Great overview and appreciate all the pros and cons. I recently purchased a pair of these, and have yet to ride in them so I was pleased to see the positive remarks. One question, do you wear anything under them like the Leatt brace sleeve or a base layer? That might reduce the irritation from that Little strap you mentioned.

Great idea on wearing sleeves under braces! I actually wear some already and they do help, but after 3-4 sweaty all day rides I tend to get some chafing regardless. Rocking some right now actually, after 5 days of riding in Romania 😁
A buddy of mine has the same braces and has the same chafing. It's not really a big deal all things considered and easily addressed with a large bandaid.

The kick start issue is real, even with the PODs I have now its difficult which is a bummer. It actually creates some knee strain/pain kicking the bike all day with these (or potentially) any knee brace, I am actually thinking about going back to a dual axis style knee guard

Thanks for taking the time to do this video I was wondering are they still holding up right now? You still recommend them?

Still using them and would still recommend them! I've probably put another 40-50 hard hours on them since I made this video.
I had the stitching start coming apart on one of the straps after a couple hard enduro events, which I simply stitched back up. Otherwise zero issues!

Great review! I bought a pair last year, don't regret my purchase.
Have you paired them with the Mobius graduated compression knee sleeves? The knee braces are even more comfortable, and I had no more chafing issues with the velcro or center strap.

I actually have some knee brace sleeves from my previous POD braces I’ve been using. Same idea and zero chafing issues!

Hi! tell me what kind of pants do you use them with? I want to buy fly racing

      Pants can be a challenge...
Fly and Moose pants work well and usually run true to size. Though Fly Patrol I have to go up a size.
Klim XC Lite fit well with knee braces if I go up one size.
Fasthouse fit well, but I have to go up two sizes. Not because of knee braces, but because they are tight in the thigh area in general.

How would you say these compare to the pods both comfort wise and on bike feel? Also bulk wise? Thank you

I'd say they Mobius is little bit more comfortable because the frame flexes more where it needs to and there is more padding. They also stay in place better than the POD. MUCH more impact protective. I've taken some good wipeouts in these, landing on rocks or having the bike land on my legs, and they work great.
Pods are a little bit slimmer, more ventilated, and allow for a bit more mobility.
Feel on the bike is similar in both. I probably prefer the Mobius a little better because it's flat/smooth where it touches the bike (the hinge doesn't stick out). I also like that the mobius is tapered at the bottom, so it slides into boots nicely.

@@DmitriyAdv thanks man. Really appreciate you taking the time to share your info. Really helpful especially as here in Switzerland I have no chance to walk in and try on. Champion. 👍🏽

@@SB-Kiwi Welcome! It's the same thing here in the US unfortunately. Unless you're in Southern California, most moto shops carry a very small selection of gear.
I usually end up needing to order online to try things and then return them if I don't like them or they don't fit.

@@DmitriyAdv ah you too huh? It's a bit of a ballache yeah. Unfortunately Switzerland not being part of the EU means that anything I import from surrounding EU countries means I not only pay import duties on the goods arrival the first round but again on the second round should I need to return and order a different size or different product etc. Your shared knowledge is a huge help. Cheers mate! 👍🏽 🙂
