Wow it's a nice set up and I like how the tall wash arms don't slam to home position like most tunnel washes do when it hits to the rear of the car application of the chemicals is great but those mitter curtains outch definitely needs bearings and new mitter materials after you filmed did u let the wash attendant know that the mitter needs repair asap?
Wraps are actually supposed to cross the rear of the vehicles, that’s how you get the pesky license plate area without prepping. My guess is that these are timed like that because of the very tired bearings that were never going to be replaced.
Car Wash Studios mentioned that parts for Belanger equipment are becoming more scarce and this site was already planning on getting new Sonny's equipment because of that.
So here’s the list of stuff that needs to be repaired 1 wheel cleaner sprayers are not applying to the wheels 2 Quad wave across 3 the right gyro wrap isn’t moving 4 quad wave mitter doesn’t have enough cloth and 1st set isn’t moving 5 the right dura shiner isn’t touching the wheels 6 to be honest could just need a full remodel

The chemistry is great, which is why it’s able to put out a better car than a lot of PEI washes pouring water over customers eyes. Part of getting access for the video, I assured the director of operations I would keep the name withheld out of courtesy.

Yup poor Wave Across. That sucks. Not to Mention the condition and Squeaking of the bearings on the Wave Across. *IF YOU EVER HEAR SQUEAKING ON A MITTER PLEASE LET THE WORKERS KNOW* That is a sign that a bearing is worn out if you also hear rocking sounds like at 0:03 that is a Bad sign. Belanger Bearings were made with Plastic so they are noted to wear out after a while but should never fail right away.

The tall wash arms are called Gyros and I know the bearings are badly worn but I sure know Sonnys is going to take great care of this wash.

That old wash could be restored mechanically very well, and all new cloth. Too bad it’s all gone now.
