3:10, instead of remembering it as SOH CAH TOA, we can use a mnemonic that is; Some Old Hags Cant Always Hack Their Old Age where Some OId Hags is Sine = O/H and Cant always hack is Cosine = A/H and finally Their old age = Tangent 0/A
That's a lot of effort you've gone to! Technically the shape drawn here cannot exist, which is why you are having that problem. If it did it wouldn't be a trapezium (just very close). To adjust either make the angle just below 60 degrees (59.45°) or change the 13cm to 11.52cm. Really I should have checked this first perhaps, but the method is what people need to be concerned with. I think you might be in a very small minority for checking this!!
just fixed my calculator from radian mode to degree mode, did some trouble shooting and now its great, hopefully most people come across this issue by double checking before they have important tests!

what about ocr - is it similar to edexcel????
I cannot say for sure as I do not do OCR. Most topics will be similar but there might be some differences.

I’m kind of confused at example 8 I put my calculation as 8x Tan (61) and got 14.4 so what’s the right equation for getting 4.4?
You need to do 8 divide tan(61) rather than multiply.
can you do edexcel futher pure math paper?
For the first question, could the answer be 3.8?
