It's sad, this game has basically died. They play it up to a maximum of 300 people. This is enough to play, but it's sad. It's sad because this game is one of the best WW2 FPS games out there. The game is just great. You have to crawl, find spots, and here actually works suppressive fire. The styling of this game is completely devastating, it is not visible after this game that it is 10 years old. The graphics of this game are one of the best I've ever seen. You can feel the war through it, the colors are not bright, the contrast is black and red. The reload animations are just as great, the best is perhaps the MP40, the most satisfying. The mere animation of the scales, the animations of walking and running, make this game. I am waiting for remake this game and the game will return to the glory days.

I've thought about ways Rising Storm 2/Red Orchestra 2 could implement controller support properly, but this is is one of those cases in which a controller lacks the amount of buttons needed for the game to work properly
@@masahirosakurai3733 like maybe a remaster could have something work to make it more functional if they rework some game mechanics, but straight up porting the current game to PS5/Xbox Series platforms would just make it extremely cumbersome. That, and somewhat realistic first person shooters do not sell well or have large communities on console, see Verdun for example.

Indeed. On the rifles, I always have the sights set at 300 meters. And on the SMG's I have them set at 200 meters. That's a good all-round distance to have the sights at. That way the shots hit higher and do more damage.
Tripwire gave the handguns in this game some of the most realistic and satisfying sound effects. But not the P38 & C96. Why couldn't they have loud and impactful sounds like the others? TT33 and Nambu use a cartridge similar (similar, not the same) to the P38 & C96. Why did they make those two specifically sound so flat and weak compared to the others? STG44 too.

Yeah, it's one of the features I like, the more level you get with a weapon it's condition gets better and the handling and reloading too You get stuff like Sights and bayonets too iirc you can farm the progress in Barracks by playing with bots and camping in one building I also love the fact the game still alive with full servers to this day (like Bloodbath's)
I know this is a year old, but with some sniper rifles you can use unscoped, scope, and iron sights. You didn't show this, leading me to believe you either didn't know, or didn't care. Either way nice video

And the shotgun and how he can put the bullet when the "pump thing" open ( sorry i dont know what it call in english). The STG 44 its not a open bolt rifle. Just some wrong action. Tbh the scope is very realistic tho
You tried pointing out mistakes but miss the one with the Garand 😂😂😂😂 mid reload he doesn't press the clip eject button on the side just pulls the bolt to eject the remaining clip
@@rusendoganates9194 there isn't an StG 44 in the game, and Tigerfield may have just bought the Deluxe edition which gives you all weapons (minus upgrades)
There's no way to really upload pictures, but they're different find. Both are bolt guns, but the kar98 is the main rifle Germany used in WW2. The Springfield is what the Americans used from WW1 through Vietnam (only the main rifle pre-ww2 and use as marksman rifle during and after ww2). I can explain more in depth if you want, but that's the basic difference, just different guns entirely.

yes, because shotguns weren't used that much in WW2 (as well as WW1, blame German and American propaganda for making it seem like a ton of people went out to the trenches with an M1889)

u know, i don't usually come away from watching one of these thinking this but with this one... i dunno i think the animations for this game are pretty bad, not sure exactly why but they feel pretty cookie-cutter and unsatisfying to me imo
On the other hand i really like this game's reloads, espsically the machine guns as they all have this practical and rugged feel to them. Doesnt feel show offish at all the animations portray the act of reloading as an action that needed to be done quickly yet precise But i'll admit that the MG42 reload just look terrible
In case you didn't realise, this game came out in 2011 and you could manually operate bolt actions and pump shotguns by pressing the fire button again. Also you had to manually check how much ammo you had left in the gun. The animations have aged but it was honestly the best shooting mechanics in any game of the time, it still holds up very well today.
This game renders spent bullet casing physics more accurately than almost every newer FPS. The brass rain from The PPsh 41 is satisfying.
