Miss the days when adding a blue frame around defensive players pre-game was THE #1 video effect.

Ah, the days when Wrigley Field wasn't a Yuppie Haven going through modernization left and right.

So, fifty years ago when it didn't need repairs and still no one went to games.
No wonder you're not a team owner.

You know it's a slim crowd when the bleachers are 2/3 empty. A bleacher ticket was probably around $1.50

This channel just got one more subscriber! You have some incredible games from sp many different eras, years, whatever you want to call it. I am a 70's kid, born in the late 60's. So 1970-1975 were my little tyke years. 1976-1980 my pre-teen years and 1980-1986 my teen years. I can remember so many great games, and the memories they brought. I was born a Milwaukee Brewers fan and will ALWAYS be a Milwaukee Brewers fan! But I am also a BASEBALL FAN! I LOVE to watch ⚾️🧢baseball🧢⚾️ from the Brewers to the Phillies to the Expos, Twins, Mariners, and especially the older games. The 69 Mets! The 71 A's. Although I HATE Reggie Jackson...lol. A Brewers/Yankees feud.
I honestly could and WILL put your channel on PLAY CONTINUOUSLY! ▶️ Lay back on my couch, and watch games after game! Thank you! 😊 Awesome channel sir!

THANK YOU FOR A REGULAR SEASON GAME FROM 1977!!! EVERYONE KEEPS SAYING THAT THEY ARE NON EXISTANT. IS IT POSSIBLE TO KEEP PUTTING OUT 1977 PHILLIES GAMES? LIKE THEY DO MORE RECENT ONES? NO ONE ON YOU TUBE PUTS OUT ANYTHING FROM THE REGULAR SEASON DURING THE 70's. Only occasionally.
Thnx if you can do more. I may have asked you this before , if I have sorry I deal with alot of different channels. I do appreciate whatever you do. Be Blessed

Back when girls were girls and men were men, and Wrigley was untouched by constant modernization.

But at least parks like Wrigley and Fenway have not changed the venue or the main feature which people identify with the park (Ivy walls of Wrigley and the green monster of Fenway), unlike all the others such as Yankee Stadium (ugh!!!, new stadium). No longer can you go there and visualize the Babe or the Iron Horse standing in the same batters box, or Bobby Mercer retrieving a ball hit between the monuments in center field over 460 ft from home plate.

ivy is not the main feature it's the timelessness that is gone for a ugly led board

Very true. As is the case with the original scoreboard. That was once the largest item in the park. Now it's so tiny looking as it's swallowed up by the awful jumbo trons.

Jack Brickhouse did play by play for innings 1-4, and 7-9. Lou Boudreau did play by play for innings 5 & 6. It was mostly a solo booth in those days.

It was like that nearly every day back in the 70's , you could buy a ticket and move down where ever there was an empty seat , was pretty cool even though our Cubs stunk .

Jack Brickhouse is really boring and bland. I have lived all over America. I've heard hundreds of sports announcers. Even ones that I don't like will have something about their style that makes you remember them. Brickhouse (to me) always sounds like some guy in a Wall Street Brokerage reading stock prices out loud. Snore!!!
