Graham gave all the vocal characteristics required for this beautiful character: a husband’s inviting tone, a father’s firmness, a king’s demanding roar, a monster’s anger, and a broken man’s cry.
When I heard him say that, a wave of familiarity hit me. I went to google it, and I was right. The same voice actor for Dante in Dante’s inferno the video game
“There ARE NO INNOCENTS! NOT ANYMORE!” Every now and then, I try and speak out this line with the same intensity as he does. Every time, unless I really pull the words from deep beneath my diaphragm and say it with the full force of a man TREMBLING with rage, I can’t make it sound the same. McTavish is truly an exemplary voice actor to have delivered some of these lines.
Everyone of the voice cast was flawless. Damn, how do they find these people? Not only do they have the right voices but the voices fit the art style of the characters not just the ideas of them. That always throws me for a whooptie.
The first video game villain that was adopted into a TV show that was actually good so that makes Dracula more special than he already is. But I still hate how Death battle rigged the battle between him and Ganondorf
@@2yoyoyo1Unplugged I'm afraid that statement is incorrect and I have a metric ton of reasons why 1. Dracula is a glass cannon ( seriously he's died from a whole manner of weapons heck he's even died from his own magic at one point) 2. Experience ( Dracula hasn't even been living half of the 1,000 year cycle of Belmonts vs Dracula meanwhile a mere Phantom Ganon existed 10,000 years and since the real Ganondorf is always stronger and more experienced that goes to show that Ganondorf has more experience) 3. Powers, weapons, and strategies ( when it comes to powers Ganondorf and Dracula are evenly matched however Ganondorf has Dracula beat in weapons and strategies given that 1. Dracula's strategies are extremely easy to predict and counter while Ganondorf adapts a lot faster and 2. Dracula never uses hand held weapons in canon however Ganondorf does since he uses 2 types of swords and a trident he also isn't afraid to fight someone with his bare hands if he has to. And not to mention one stab to Dracula's heart no matter what is game over since vampires are dead the moment they are staked. ) 4. Vulnerabilities: ( Dracula is a whole lot more vulnerable since he can die from any sharp weapon, any magic whip, crosses, magic in general, and holy water. Ganondorf on the other hand while when he's weakened he can be harmed by normal weapons he's never been defeated by dark magic which is all Dracula has. However if you put both of them at thier best Ganondorf cannot be harmed by anything Dracula throws at him at all since not even the Master Sword or flaming Master Sword[ the master sword times 2] can do significant damage it's the Golden Master Sword [ the Master Sword times 4] that can do any lasting damage and Ganondorf can even take 3 Silver Arrows and survive which Silver Arrows 1 shot all other demons. Meanwhile Dracula still has all of his vulnerabilities. 5. Physical strength ( Ganondorf can break stone like it was made of cardboard and break steel chains like they were made of wet wood instead. Dracula has shown no physical strength in canon. 6. Win loss ratio Canon Dracula: 0 wins 17 loses Canon Ganondorf: 4 wins 7 loses And even if I inclued spinoffs things would still be in Ganondorf's favor Composite Dracula: 8 wins 20 loses Composite Ganondorf: 11 wins 11 loses Yeah Ganondorf has Dracula beat in the win loss counter since he's won more than Dracula has and he's lost less times. 7. Ganondorf is on universe level to ( remember the Sacred Realm. Ganondorf corrupted that Realm and turned it into the Dark World and by Death Battle's logic that realms equal alternate universes Ganondorf corrupted an entire universe. So yeah it isn't out of comprehension that Ganondorf could either cut off Dracula's connection to the Chaos Realm, turn it against Dracula, or draw on it himself. Also Ganondorf at his full strength has the entire triforce so yeah that alone would make him win the day since all he needs to do to win is simply wish Dracula out of existence since the Triforce is a wish granting artifact and it can grant ANY wish.
@@2yoyoyo1Unplugged and you have ignored everything I just said. Well let me give you the short version. Ganondorf at his full strength has the power to wipe anyone from existence if he wanted to and Dracula has NOTHING on Ganondorf if you put both of them at thier best since he has no light magic ( demonic meggito isn't light magic the name itself is demonic which means it's a dark art), no sacred weapons ( he can't use the weapons found in his castle especially because they are item drops and only the games protagonist can use those) and no way of winning since Ganondorf has an answer for EVERYTHING Dracula can throw at him. Just face it Death Battle was wrong like they are 90% of the time and that battle was in the 90%. The only way Dracula has a chance is if you gave him an unfair advantage like putting him up against child Ganondorf who doesn't have any experience in magic and doesn't have the triforce of power. If you put both of them in thier prime Dracula is screwed.

Genuinely no one could have done his death scene other than Graham. The acting was phenomenal. It needed a multitude of emotions to work and it did spectacularly. Cry every time
This man is underrated, he's played Dracula, Dwalin, and Loki. I've heard rumors of him playing Ganondorf in the new Breath of the Wild but we will have to wait and see...
"And kill, kill for my love." Full of hate and anger to kill. And yet still beloved by the people of all Romania till this day. (I never understand it. But I like it pretty much)
"There ARE NO INNOCENTS....NOT anymore." I've heard people say over and over that this voice actor or that makes or breaks the role and I'd never particularly felt strongly about it much before. Maybe Kevin Conroy as batman, Troy baker as Joel miller(last of us, Mark Hamill as Joker. Graham McTavish was a name I'd never heard and I was very obviously missing out.

Tuxedo Coattails you described that in the best way possible 🥺
All of this! I felt everything from fear to heartbreak, esp when he snaps out of it in ep7 right before his son delivered the final blow T_T
Exactly.
Damnnnnn well said 👏🏽
Graham has this kind of a voice that sounds so soft and refined and yet managed to turn into hateful snarls so fluidly. It's just perfect.
"I am Vlad Dracula Ţepeş,
AND I HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!!"
God, Graham MacTavish was such a great choice for Dracula!

Also Zoran Lazarevic and Charlie Cutter in Uncharted 2 and 3 respectively.

Llikely the best line in the whole series, maybe second only to death's "don't you think that's weirdly fucked up?"
Oh my God. Such a rich voice....
How can a voice be so sexy and relaxing at the same time? The most beautiful voice I've ever heard. Just fell in love!
The casting for Dracula and Alucard was astonishing. They both sound calm and soothing, yet dark and intimidating.
The pure heartbreak in his voice at the end when he realizes what hes doing 😭😭😭
I liked this video for four things:
Graham McTavish's voice
The dialogues
The efforts for this video
And finally the sassy description of this video.
Graham McTavish absolutely nails this role. He brought such fear, power, heart, and soul to Dracula. One of his best roles IMO

I want this man to voice Ganondorf in the Breath of the Wild sequel SO BAD.
SAME! I DESPERATELY NEED HIM TO VOICE GANON
For any Stormlight Archive fans, does anyone else think Graham McTavish would be perfect for Dalinar?
He's got a great voice, but I'm not sure it's deep enough.
I could listen to him scorn hyrule and her people all day long.
Yea it would have been better than mercer. Which is what we got
What a beautiful voice for such a beautiful character. Thank you for compiling this. Graham seriously needs to do audio books...

I disagree that it was rigged. Death Battle does rig some battles, but Ganondorf gets shat on by Dracula EASY.
