Guess it just goes to show that even a monster can be a good husband and father. Part of the reason I liked this show was because it really enforces the idea that it doesn't matter what you are, but who you are as a person.
Dracula was a good man ,a husband ,and a loving father , he was grieving like any man would be ,imagine men with his strength and abilities grieving from how his love was brutally taken from him.
this is too sad, I can't stop cry. "It's your room... my boy... I'm .. I'm killing my boy,... Lisa, your greatest gift to me... and I'm killing it... I must already be dead.."
bí mật bí mật and that is why He had to die because the greatest torture would be to live with the guilt of what he did to his own son... The one he loved son
It reminds me of a story I heard once. There was this guy; he loved his mother, absolutely hated his father. His mother dies, he's heartbroken; but he finds himself unable to cry. As hard as he tried, he could not shed a tear. A few years later, his father dies; and to his dismay, he can't stop crying. As hard as he tried, he could not stop balling over his dad. He then came to the realization that now that his father was dead, he had no foil. No scapegoat to focus all that negativity. As if he longer had a purpose.
It's wierd how they managed to parralel the burning of Lisa to the cruxifiction of Jesus. Like when Lisa cried out to Dracula to not hurt the people its the same when Jesus cried out to God to not hurt the people who had him killed. Well done netflix

Because everybody steals the Lord Jesus crucifixion. But nothing is better than the original. The one and only Lamb of God he who lives forever and created the whole world Amen.
It hits different when the man who wants to end humanity is really just a family man. He loved his wife and son, and he never wanted to cause them harm. It would be one thing to kill your dad and he was abusive and terrible to you, but another thing entirely when he was a good and loving father. It just.....it hurts 🤧
Very painful to let go and allow to die that which you’ve known all of your life. The realization that they can no longer endure the cruelty of life. Personally I blame our traditions of singular love, a greed based tradition that believes that something can be so covenant as to never be replaced and that we must attach ourselves so greatly to that thing. The next stage of human evolution might just be the transcendence beyond this limited mindset.

"My boy, I'm killing my boy" "Lisa, I'm killing our boy. Your greatest gift to me and I'm killing him." God, this broke me man. Straight up ugly sobs. Fucking amazing show to illicit such a response.
What I find so sad is that when Dracula says 'i used to relish in all the tiny details, but not anymore. It was long ago' and when alucard sat in his fathers chair and sees his mother lisa, like that's what Dracula saw everytime he looked in the doorway which is why he turned it away. Its like everytime he thought of his wife he died alittle more. He used to relish in the details, in the memories of he and his love but not anymore. Like he actually cared, he became human, he felt human. When lisa said 'hes come to far, dont make him go back to his old ways', like dude, that's the power of love. Looking through his memory of when his son with a small child and Lisa cradled him in his arms and she stopped and smiled, you could see the love she had for him in the end, that despite Draculas need to kill all that she tried to save, she still loved him, he made her happy, and that they'd all be together in the end. Just Omg! This series made me cry SO DAMN MUCH! The feels! Somebody find me a Dracula please? 😭😭😭
You know i just realized sth. The room where Alucard sees a figure of his younger self and Lisa, i thought that was his bedroom. Now that i remember, it was the room Dracula stayed as his plan was happening. Now it made sense to me, this was Dracula's room, or like his work room or sth. I always thought, "oh so young Alucard and Lisa saw future Alucard? Is that Attack On Titan paralell Eren mind gaming thing all over again?" But then now i realized, THAT was DRACULA'S room, the flashback of them, they were smiling at Dracula. That's probably why Dracula always faced the fireplace and would rarely look back. To avoid seeing these memories.. Yeah guys I'm sorry, I'm not that smart okay, lol i just realized these.
I really wish Dracula would have gotten to take that Bishop to his castle and to torture him slowly for a long time. Would have felt like justice to me considering he burned his wife.

"I must already be dead" still hits hard even after all this time. Mainly the unshed tears of alucard just make it so much sadder, that to me in that moment dracula finally realized what he was doing and allowed himself to be killed.

No matter how many times I see this I start tearing up the moment Adrian (Alucard) starts crying. Not because the AMV is sad (which it is) but because I am feeling the pain he feels in that moment and it makes me sad enough to cry. The moment when he finally lets himself feel that pain is the moment he proves how human he is, but it is also one of the most devastating moments in Castlevania because it shows exactly how cruel humanity was to that family.
Seeing him crying at the last part made me remember what his friend told him. That he may be an angry teenager at an adults body... That hurts...im crying too now...

I still can't get over the fact that Dracula had to die... But I guess that's what a romantic tragedy means... Loved ur work.. Keep it up..!

I recently started watching this series and got hooked. Great animation, voice acting and story. The thing that breaks my heart is the tie between Vlad and Adrian, a father and son at odds; yet still love each other. Burdened by grief and rage, both driven to opposing goals: the death of humanity and the preservation of it, all for the love of one woman’s memory. I know Dracula is often seen as the villain, but in this case it the church and the bishop who are the villains. I’m not saying Vlad is right in wanting to end humanity, but his rage is so strong it’s almost understandable what his motive is. The bishop is a blind, unintelligent moron; he got his at the hands of the demon in the church. A great job on this video, the music and clips are perfect. Bravo to you Luka.
I didn't feel Alucard's side when I was watching this show. The superb way this was put together made me ugly cry because it helped me feel even more the tragedy of the story from Alucard's eyes. Thank you.
I never saw Dracula as a monster for what he did nor seeing him as a villain seeing him fall in love with lisa was his humanity....a human who never looked at him as a monster or the Prince of darkness but as a man who was hurting and tire and now they have taken his humanity away from him....thats why castlevania to me is one of the greatest animations on Netflix.
Knowing how the original series ended with Alucard and Dracula, and now that Castlevania:Nocturne has finished season 1 I can’t wait to see if they meet again with the 300 years between each series and knowing they do in the game Symphony of the Night! 🤩

Why is nobody talking about this beautiful magnificent FMV !? I loved it and truly felt everything. It's heartbreaking and beautiful to see all these scenes together at once. It's so hard to take in.
Hugs. Hugs for Alucard. Or just being that understanding silent yet warm person in the room. I didn't even watch the show yet (though I did play the games) and this is just heartbreaking. No living being should ever be alone in a moment of this much suffering.
Netflix has really got it going on... That scene when Dracula came to his senses and realized he was about to kill Lisa's great gift to him.... Their son... His little boy... That pulled a few tear outta me 😢❤ I can't wait for season 3!!!!
The music choice and the scenes in the video fit and shows the whole story. Of loss (Lisa's death) to anger and hate wanting to annihilate humans due to the loss of Lisa. The need to fulfill her final wish to not hurt anyone and to possibly stop it (alucard) the acceptance of what needs to be done even if it means defining himself to his father which Lisa didn't want(alucard). Dracula being tired of it all the fight for different views alucard view of the war ending for his mother while Dracula view is it endures. Dracula realizing he's killing his son and clearly showing regret alucard need to put an end to it all even though it hurts him. The end of his memories and his crying to mourn the death of his mother and father his mother he had no control over while his father died by his hands. Due to believing it was the right thing to do for the people, his father and his mother possibly. But yeah this amv gets every detail of the story of what led to it, during it and the final confrontation as well as the end of it all. Pretty much it all started and gone on by the death of alucard mother and Dracula's wife Lisa
What broke me most was “ I’m tired Isaac, there was a time when I would relish the details… oh there was a time.” This broke me because 13-14 I use to say “I’m in love with details, history is my fav subject . I was young watching credits to see what companies were involved or scrip writers . I had moments of wondering who thought of this setting for this 15 second scene in a 2 hr movie and this reflected in everything . Oh how I missed the details , I’m tired of crying .
A monster discovers love and becomes a man. Eons of darkness retreat from the warm flare of his precious-held candlelight. He will let nothing smother it. He will let nothing harm it. He is immortal and mightier than all others. They may fail their love, but not he. He is Vlad Dracula. But in the end, for all his power, fate plays its hand against him. His wife, his light, is snuffed out and the world, once more, grows cold. She had taught him, made him believe, that he could make something new of himself. But without her hand in his he can see that future for the folly it is. There is no light. Not for him. Not from him. He is the light-taker, herald of darkness, blight-bringer and barrow-robber. "I am as I always was," he thinks. "Alone and apart. A black note in the whirling symphony." A feral smile spreads across bloodred lips as another thought occurs to the creature no longer a man. "I am as I always was...now I return to what I have always done." Cookfires burn in the town below. The smell of roasted meat rises. For the first time in decades, he spreads his wings. There will be death tonight. Runnels of red spilled in the muck. No man or woman spared. He drops from the balcony. A shadow to blot out the stars. A plague on the wing. But deep inside, something is wrong. Someone is screaming. "But the child...what of our child?" ...the voice goes unheard. The creature carries on. And somewhere, far distant, a young man lay healing in a coffin of sleep.
This video appeared in my feed, and i must say, that even tho i haven’t watched the show yet…this is truly masterpiece. Especially the moment when Alucard says “it ends in the name of my mother” to which dracula replies “It endures in the name of your mother” - that itself gave me chills…amazing work💪🏻
I can't really blame Alucard for eventually deciding to go into hibernation. Just a few years alone, living with the guilt of killing his father to honor his mother nearly drove him crazy. Imagine what he'd think to see the descendent of his best friends...
This show has some of the best storytelling then over half of the other Netflix series. This was masterfully put together displaying the emotional struggle they both faced. Well done
Dracula wife dying was no accident unfortunately. After seeing season 4, you get to understand bigger plan has been in motion, to feed death itself. We're all puppets, playing our role.
it's soo painful and heartbreaking, they just wanted to be a family, an ordinary family 💔💔💔💔 You did a great job creating this video. I am watching and I am crying at the end
"My boy. I'm... I'm... I'm killing my boy. Lisa. I'm killing our boy..." Make me tear up every damn time Lisa doesn't deserve to die. Dracula doesn't either
This is incredible. I seriously bawled over this. The music along with the edits was just exquisite. I was absolutely crushed by the poignancy of him talking to his memories of his father while drawing his parents. The depth of pain I felt in his "I'm sorry, Mother..." slew me.
Dude you brilliantly made this so good!!! I know I already said before but thank you. It touches the heart. You are a good editor! Even better than my subs for entertainment.
I made it through the entire video, very well made by the way, but that last scene with alucard and the music fit so perfectly I had to cry along with him

Just finished watching the show and I'm still crying every time they get to the "room".
I swear I love the scene where they meet, you can feel the instant chemistry
The story of Netflix Castlevania in a nutshell thus far.
I hope this video stays on TH-cam forever. So well edited and made. Thank you Just LUKA for this video. I've watched it over 100 times
wow thanks for watching and i’m glad you enjoyed it ❤️
@@justluka7590 Would you be willing to make a tribute to Trever Belmont? Specially with the last season I can see you making magic happen
@@BUckENbooz I’ll think about it but can’t promise things. i made this when i had so much time, now editing something for days is very tough. my new edits are so short that they take few hours to do and i enjoy making shorter edits even if its not great. (i already made video about Trevor, not in this style tho) anyways thanks for enjoying this vid but i don’t know if i ever make something like this again
@@justluka7590 fair enough. Your the content created so I respect whatever it is you decide. I did the same on my channel
Oh hey the title is accurate, hahaha... ;-;
I have to admit I was sceptical to watch however my skepticism was misplaced and this was an AMAZING video good job!
Story of alucard...
The Thinker
Or rather the story of the Tepes family.
Story of traitor
I've got goosebumps throughout the whole video. Castlevania is a story of love, sadness and with heartbreaking moments. This video was beautiful ❤️
Why is nobody talking about this beautiful magnificent FMV !? I loved it and truly felt everything. It's heartbreaking and beautiful to see all these scenes together at once. It's so hard to take in.
Very good. Enjoyed the music and video pacing thoroughly.
That pulled a few tear outta me 😢❤
I can't wait for season 3!!!!
I've listened to this soooooooooo many times while driving around in my car. I am absolutely in love with this so much.
When he said “im killing our boy” i started crying.
A black note in the whirling symphony."
A feral smile spreads across bloodred lips as another thought occurs to the creature no longer a man.
"I am as I always was...now I return to what I have always done."
Cookfires burn in the town below.
"But the child...what of our child?"
...the voice goes unheard. The creature carries on. And somewhere, far distant, a young man lay healing in a coffin of sleep.
Holy shit dude, that was beautiful
@@draketheharbinger2727 Appreciative of the kind words. Made me smile.
That was beautiful, now i feel like writing something
We didn't need a spin off what we really needed was a prequel on dracula and lisa on hiw their love grew
I stopped to write this comment at 4min, you, you got skills, honor to you.
Thank you 🙏
This series will always hold a special place in my heart
This is by far the most beautuful and tragic love story ever written.even more than romeo and juliet
This video appeared in my feed, and i must say, that even tho i haven’t watched the show yet…this is truly masterpiece. Especially the moment when Alucard says “it ends in the name of my mother” to which dracula replies “It endures in the name of your mother” - that itself gave me chills…amazing work💪🏻
This show did such as amazing job with character development!
I'm telling... This series is a great Masterpiece.
Damn this is so sad
can we get 1000 likes
I can't really blame Alucard for eventually deciding to go into hibernation. Just a few years alone, living with the guilt of killing his father to honor his mother nearly drove him crazy. Imagine what he'd think to see the descendent of his best friends...
This show has some of the best storytelling then over half of the other Netflix series. This was masterfully put together displaying the emotional struggle they both faced. Well done
Dracula wife dying was no accident unfortunately. After seeing season 4, you get to understand bigger plan has been in motion, to feed death itself. We're all puppets, playing our role.
this amv was by far the best I've seen and it's so fitting for the show
I applaud you! 😁😁😁
Imagine if Alucard was as angry as Dracula. The two strongest vampires on a quest to wipe out humanity.
o_O Still can't stop listening... the sadgening is real
Hence his theme "The Tragic Prince".
it's soo painful and heartbreaking, they just wanted to be a family, an ordinary family 💔💔💔💔 You did a great job creating this video. I am watching and I am crying at the end
"My boy. I'm... I'm... I'm killing my boy.
Lisa. I'm killing our boy..."
Make me tear up every damn time
Lisa doesn't deserve to die. Dracula doesn't either
Alucard has been crying for 2 seasons now (season2&3) . Tear really won't stop
still cant stop watching this... all the tears
This was so beautiful, this whole story was heartbreaking
This is incredible. I seriously bawled over this. The music along with the edits was just exquisite. I was absolutely crushed by the poignancy of him talking to his memories of his father while drawing his parents. The depth of pain I felt in his "I'm sorry, Mother..." slew me.
I’ve never seen this anime. But this… this moved me to tears. The tears will not stop comping out.
oh my god i’m already dead you’re killing me DDD:
That portrait on the wall...became my phone's wallpaper.
I usually avoid watching Castlevania videos cause the heartbreak is too much and the TITLE keeps happening
agree
only tears :(
I haven't even watched Castlevania and this got me close to tears-
The line that hits me the hardest, "My boy... I'm killing my boy.
Your greatest gift to me- and I'm killing my boy..."
Dude you brilliantly made this so good!!! I know I already said before but thank you. It touches the heart. You are a good editor! Even better than my subs for entertainment.
I couldn’t stop tearing this is truly heartbreaking
I made it through the entire video, very well made by the way, but that last scene with alucard and the music fit so perfectly I had to cry along with him
I keep coming back to this video. I love it.
6.2 built like a Ox, still succumb to tears, the people who wrote/produced castlevania got it down to a T, and to the old boy who made the AMV bravo, you made me blub like a big baby 😭😭 10/10, cant wait to see your next.
