just bought the same drive, connected to USB 3.2, tested it and.. I'm getting 20-30mb write speeds in crystaldiskmark, tried with NTFS and exFat and still the same, what is wrong, should I return it?

picking Better Performance in the device Policies and enabling write cache on the device solved my issue.

"small size" :D I will buy one because obviously I would use it as a stationary backup drive only instead of carrying around, thats not really its purpose
