I really liked the imminence album and also think that any given day's album was much better than the killswitch engage one. Another favorite of mine isnt technically an album. It's the soulburn ep from dealer. Just that raw nu metal hardcore sound is so good with the aggression and emotion. Helix by crystal lake was great too. The Rammstein album was insanely good. Not only the music but also the lyrics, which is kinda hard to get if you don't speak German but it was good especially songs like Puppe or Deutschland. These were just some of my favorites in no particular order and by far not every album I loved this year. For the end of this way too long comment a hidden gem that you should listen to. Deviloof - Oni That shit is brutal like really brutal they need to get more attention. The vocalists highs and lows are out of this world and the breakdowns are absolute madness. So if anyone reads this definitely check them out.

Everybody loves "The Signal Fire, feat. Howard Jones" from Killswitch Engage's "Atonement" but I don't think anybody has even spoken about "The Crownless King, feat. Chuck Billy". Why? It's such a great song, mid-tempo, has a thrashy vibe and it features Chuck fucking Billy.

I heard the Sleep Token album and musically seen it's really good, but i just don't like their style. How the singer is completly in the foreground when he sings and the instrumentals are quiet meanwhile. And also it always sounds like if he's moaning while singing XD instead of the sleep token album i would personally add the Albums All Hail by Norma Jean, Hyperdaze by Void of Vision or Internal Atomics by Stray from the Path

I heard the Sleep Token album and musically seen it's really good, but i just don't like their style. How the singer is completly in the foreground when he sings and the instrumentals are quiet meanwhile. And also it always sounds like if he's moaning while singing XD
instead of the sleep token album i would personally add the Albums All Hail by Norma Jean, Hyperdaze by Void of Vision or Internal Atomics by Stray from the Path
