This song brings so much emotion with it. When I found it earlier this month, it bought tears to my eyes once I started analyzing it. This song appears to be about a young boy who builds a snowman that then comes alive because of his winter wish to not be alone. The boy feels lonely as he has no friends, and it is implied that his mother is suffering from an illness that she likely won't recover from. The boy tells the snowman that he lied to his mother about having being good at sports, having many friends, and having good grades. But he believes his lie is the reason "mama will be gone soon." The snowman, despite his "fake eyes" and "broomstick arms" stays with the boy, helping him to make what he told his mother into a reality. By the end of winter, the boy runs with his new friends to see his mother, who is lying in bed. "See, I told you the truth, so don't go anywhere" he says. "I'm always with you" his mother says; her last white lie, white as snow. The snowman then watches over the two of them as he melts away, saying "he will be alright now." The final line of the song roughly translates to "'Cause there's no winter that isn't followed by spring" implying that one difficult season of life will morph into a new beautiful season (Spring also symbolizing rebirth), even in the presence of tragedy. The boy in the song may have build the snowman as a way to cope with the difficult situation of his mom's illness, finding comfort in having a friend to help him turn his lies to truths, even if it was all just a daydream. However for listeners like us, all of that can serve to symbolize the relationship many people have to fictional characters that bring them comfort during hard times in life. Even though the snowman had fake eyes and arms, his presence alone was enough to help the boy push through. I think having a comfort character is truly a beautiful thing; and I know for certain that many people (including myself) view Aro as a comfort character. Thank you for reading my analysis and I really hope you enjoy! Happy Holidays!
Merry Christmas!! 💚💚❤❤Man I love this song so much - It's such a heartfelt and heartwrenching song. I've definitely listened to it about a couple hundred times before, different covers in english and japanese and the song still hits so good 😭😭Thank you so much for this Aro Cover
@@ronaro5729 That makes sense. The original song is rather fast paced, there weren’t any changes to the tempo I made for this cover. Glad you’re getting used to the speed XD

@@NeoFoxFire it means the song goes too fast for me. It's nothing really, when I here again and again I start to like it more.
