    very nice content and I am looking forward to build my next build with Hardware sugar. I am done with GILMORE stores since college days duon ako kaso lately nkaka frustrate na bumili dun kung ano ano nlng isusubo nlng sa bibig mo bundle bundle ek ek pero sa totoo lng inuubos nila ang mga stock na slow or non moving. my current build is a pandemic build binuo ko to combination ng some of gilmore stores and most of the lazada online stores. so far so good. but I am looking forward for my next build hopefully next year sa hardware sugar since malapit din ito sa office.

    Arctic deserves to be in the top tier list of AIOs. Highly recommended by Gamers Nexus. I'm using its 360mm for my 5900x and 3080 and never hit the 90 degree celsius for my processor.

    Another thing to consider when buying your GPU:
    Parts support even after your warranty expires.
    I only have good experiences with Sapphire, when my Nitro RX 480's fans started to fail, it was easy to look for very cheap replacement fans from online sellers. And since the fan was designed to be easily replaced, it only took 1 small screw to replace each fan and didn't even need to disassemble the GPU to replace it.

    +1 on Colorful GPU and RAM. Excellent price (even though, I bought mine during the GPUpocalypse) for what you're getting. Though, it took me awhile to get over the fact that it didn't have a zero-RPM mode, it's all good now. As for the RAM, still kickin'.

Also have pleasant experiment with PowerColor. I actually recommend this brands to friends, some top tier version of other brands are too costly that if you go with these brands you can get a better card. So if you value performance over aesthic, just go with these cards. Unless you are really going for a specific look or all aoruso, Rog theme build

      As for PSU, I recommend relying on actual review other than brand. Most mainstream brand like Corsair outsource these to the likes of seasonic, superflower, fsp etc. mainly in china, it is best to check per model and seek out reviews.

    even top tier brands bsta dun sa budget models PSU nila don't expect similar quality.. just like with Linus psu tier list.. hindi based sa brand.. it should be based on specific models for each brands.. baka kse magkaroon ng false assumption mga buyers pag bumili sila.. say ng budget Corsair or Seasonic models.. mataas din ang return rates..

    Length & ease of warranty is good indication for a good brand. For example, Arctic's AIO has a 10 year warranty, where other brands might have only 3 years, and fail at 5+ years of age.
    On another note, sometimes, the budget line of a "higher tier" brand isn't that good. Example on that, Corsair's VS line of PSUs.

    • @ransuu22
      @ransuu22 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can I ask what's wrong with Corsair's budget psu line? I was planning to buy their 650w non modular psu for my build because it's a well recommended brand for this specific part

    • @brentw8365
      @brentw8365 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ransuu22 I specifically mentioned the VS line, which are likely group regulated & has the cheapest passable components for this specific PSU platform (manu is CWT). It's alright for low power components, but I can't recommend it for 70-series GPUs and up (3070, 6700, etc) due to increasing power draw spikes. Less power hungry components should be fine with it.
      Personally, I use a Corsair SF450 for my R3 4350G & RX 6600. It's Tier A PSU with enough quality to have a decent 5 year warranty. Though I don't recommend most to follow my niche set-up.
      In the end, price, length of warranty, available specific models on the PSU tier list are my main factors for deciding

    Really good points, I really like that in today's scene there are lots of competition in brands since they all offer the same thing and most of the time its better to take the time to look for a decent brand who is at a lower price point than its competitors, but also its also nice to experiment with lesser known brands because sometimes they are still good products given you go through decent research to see if you get the product from a legitimate source!

    My personal lifehack for a long time was to look at Newegg user reviews to inform my purchase decisions since there's a high proportion of tech-literate users leaving feedback on the site.
    But in recent years, Newegg's customer service has been declining in quality, as viewers of Gamers Nexus may be aware of, which then makes their user reviews possibly less reliable because it may be mixed with complaints and rants from dissatisfied customers who got shafted by Newegg's now-lesser service.

    With the recent LGA1700 problems among Z690 and B660 motherboards from Gigabyte along with the PSU issues from back then, it’s hard to really recommend Gigabyte for now.
    I’ve been reading on a lot of people experiencing thermal throttling with higher end GPU’s because of shoddy QA e.g. wrong sized thermal pads and board issues as well so IMO I’d avoid them and spend a little more with MSI and ASUS.

I swap it to VIsion 3080 for minimalist white build thermals kinda okay but has aggressive wattage 3080 consumes up to 360 watts. Btw vulcan has LCD and good rgb software too.

    I just found your website. Dude!!!! your prices are very very good, not too bad. If I was to send you a list could you tell me if you are able to get the parts? I would dare to say if you can get the parts close to what Amazon sells we dont need to shop with Amazon anymore.👍👍👍👍

    Kingston is not mid-tier when it comes to PC Memory. Kingston Corsair and G.Skill are three top brands of memory.

    Please do a video on peripherals too in this format. I'm curious.
    I had a really bad experience with a Cougar keyboard (Puri TKL). Over 8 months for a replacement on a defective keyboard, even the shop owner gave up and just offered me a trade for something in similar value (they were very kind to me even letting me borrow a keyboard while waiting for the RMA after the first month) I didn't even break the keyboard, the LED just randomly failed one key could only show red and not any other color after like a week (possibly a board fault/damage in shipping)

    Was shocked about the quality of powercolor. I was able to buy a Red devil RX580 way back 2020 for only 7999 pesos. Likely dahil hindi gaano sikat ang AMD GPUs nung time nayon and hindi rin gaano siguro kilala ang brand ng powercolor dito sa pinas, working parin until now (since new ko naman nabili haha) and still plays games quite well

    minsan yung mga trusted brand like corsair hindi purket trusted brand ...ay automatic 'quality' na... for example yung yung CV series psu nila cheap lang yung mga parts na ginamit.. cheap din yung mga capacitors.. kaya not recommended to buy it, you better go for seasonic seasonic s12iii series or fsp hv series for that range... kaya maganda research talaga ng build quality through LTT psu tier list, reddit, or youtube reviews

    I remember when MSI motherboards were super sensitive. It was difficult to work with. And you can get Crucial SSDs for less price than Samsung.

    Rakk Cases is my worst experience ever as a PC builder for 3 years. the experience of PSUs not working because the case made a cut on one of the cables are so scary, or a cut on your fingers as well, metal would bent before even touching them.
    Tecware Cases is amazing IMO. they are so popular, high quality and good bang for buck that their website is always out of stock HAHAHAHA.

    How long is Colorful's distro warranty? The good thing about Palit/Gigabyte/Sapphire distro is that they honor the 2-3 years warranty and you can actually go straight to them for RMA when the retailer refuses to help with RMA after 1 year shop warranty.
