This is great! I was sad that this ride was opening on the other side of the world for me and that I wouldn't get to experience it. This is a great substitution, thank you for doing this!
Canon or not I really like Storm Garuda's design, shoulder mounted plasma casters and dual plasma chainswords allows it to fire and slice simultaneously without needing to pull an arm away to shift into a built-in plasma caster.
It's obviously not cannon but still a cool concept. I just wish the guy behind the video (not the narrator) didn't explain how the ride isn't cannon when it shouldn't take much brain power to realize it's obviously not cannon
If I gotta be honest here while I did enjoy the breakdown the explanation on why the ride is not cannon was seriously unnecessary. Like you said throughout the video the ride itself isn't meant to be taken seriously and is only meant for entertainment purposes which is literally the ENTIRE point in a theme park ride. Rides meant to promote something bigger most of the time are never cannon and are just part of the promotional material of said bigger project. Anyone would have the common sense to assume the ride isn't cannon and they would be right. Even by looking at it it's easy to see it's not cannon so no explanation is even needed. That's like explaining why transformers the ride isn't cannon to the movies when it's easy to see it's not cannon without explanation.
Actually this ride will be really fun at universal studios in Orlando where I live just think about Pacific rim shattered them something moved to Universal studios how fun will that be
