I wouldn't blame strikers pilots. They were told to not help and they tried to anyway
Blame writing, an experienced jaeger, with experienced pilots seeing that their Ally jaeger had been destroyed, should’ve and would’ve resorted to their Incinerator Turbines. Burning Otachi to a crisp. And Why was Cherno, and Crimson allowed to patrol forward, leaving Striker behind, Knowing that they would be facing 2 Cat 4s. they should’ve stayed together.

Interesting fact: in Russian, this story has a nice pun in it. In Russian language, "melee weapon" will be "kholodnoye oroojie" (холодное оружие), and "kholodnoye" means "cold". So Russians just calls all melee weapons a "cold weapons". That being said, in this story, Cherno basically used an iceberg as a "cold weapon" against Kaiju lol

Absolutely love striker Eureka, definitely my favorite jaeger I’d love to see more videos of striker’s battles and kaiju it fought before the 1st movie. As an American who has a bit of Australian in him, I absolutely fell in love with striker, so exceedingly badass.
I thought of an idea for a prequel movie of pacific rim ,like each of the Yeagers origin story,how they were built,there first fight with a kaiju and how they end up in the first movie,that would be cool to see.
That could be a cool series. Each episode could be about a different Jager.
