    Your analysis, like the film is brilliant. It makes me sad that these brilliant classics that are so meaningful are virtually unknown today. What can be done ?

    Redirected from your Warrior video. You're channel is CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED

      Thanks, I appreciate the support. It's mainly been my fault I haven't grown as much because I was very inconsistent in the past in putting up regular videos. But I'm trying to change that and hopefully things pick up going forward.

    Ooo very nice video! Manhood it’s about moving from a side character to the main character

      Good thoughts Jonah. Maybe I would say moving to be a main character in your own story, while also being mature enough to do so in a way that allows other people to be main characters in their stories as well.

    Elia Kazan also wrote it as a push back towards socialism that was, (and currently is), a major problem in Hollywood. Kazan was basically calling g out socialist who were bullying and intimidating people into supporting socialism as a form of control, and woth Kazan recently ridding himself of socialism and being blacklisted for it, he was essentially fighting back against a corrupt system of socialism and communism.

    I always thought this film was good, but you're analytical view has given even more depths and meaning.

    Really cool to see this come together and have seen of of the process behind it being made. Did you find that the live stream did indeed help when it came to making this?

    • @ThomasGaryNuila
      @ThomasGaryNuila  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For sure. Firstly, to make that commitment to you guys was definitely the thing that got me to get it done through the long slog of the editing process, otherwise it just wouldn't have gotten done. But also, there are many phrases and concepts in the video that came particularly from having done the manhood series, so yes, doing the livestream is having a direct impact on the development of the ideas themselves.

      I was just on here replying to comments when I saw yours pop up, so I thought I'd give you a quick reply. That's the beauty of all of this--that I would have a reason to talk with someone on the other side of the world. Thanks for the feedback, and greetings from Montana!

    Thanks, your videos helping me in my life.
    I'm 19 & I'm very bitter & resentful about life & I also have thoughts/feelings of taking revenge. Because I've been bullied, betan up, mistreated, taken advantage of many times in life.
    I'm vunrable, ashemed & wounded
    Any advice/ guidance/ recommendation for me?

      I could try to say something wise, but honestly it's difficult to say something useful without knowing more about your situation. Write me at garynuila@gmail.com and let me know a bit more about your life, and then I might be of more help.

    All the movies from 50 60 70 even 80 are great because of the amazing casts. Brando Cobb Steiger Malden Saint. There are many others with small parts to future super stars! A funny thing is when they would introduce a new actor who was a dud and at the bottom of the credits is a future super star!

      Michael, thank you for checking up on me. I'm trying to get back in the game. I've started writing on Substack (missiontop.substack.com) and I'm working on some scripts to resume the video essays.
