Lots of great vantage points to enjoy❕❣✨ I think the Electrical Parade was my fave.⚡😍 Thank you for making a lot of effort to share your experience. 👏💖😊
The person waving at your camera when you panned to the monorail at the beginning haha. I love the signs at the Baymax ride “I predict this side will be sick but it’s just an expression that means they feel good” too funny 😂 Carl’s house was epic in the parade and I don’t know why but seeing a giant Jack Jack made me laugh. You really lucked out with weather it looks like such a gorgeous day. WOW riding in the beauty and the beast’s ballroom was breath taking. I love their fast pass system so it doesn’t limit how often you can use it for attractions. Oh my god your hotel room is beautiful and the view is stunning! Like just WOW. I love the nighttime vibes so that’s great it gets darker earlier so there’s a lot of the night left after fireworks. I’ve never seen a nighttime parade it was so magical. Incredible day 1!
The amount of waving to each other from different modes of transportation was AMAZING - we loved it!! I liked the signs too, loved the clarification, sick as in cool, haha. The Belle ride was EPIC - absolutely my favourite ride ever! Thanks for watching, Serena
I usually try to wait until an entire vlog series is out to watch but I couldn’t wait anymore! Chevy couldn’t either 😂 This park just looks incredible. It gives the familiarity of Disney World, but stepped up about 12 levels! The BATB attraction is fantastic - I think the Beast transformation is the most amazing piece of technology (magic!) I’ve ever seen. The parade looks gorgeous and really long?! In a good way! On my way to watch the next day adventure!
Aww hehehe thanks for watching Lauren and Chevy!!! 🤩🤩 Tokyo Disneyland was definitely similar to Disney World but also there were so many differences. The BATB ride was seriously amazing, I was so immersed in the ride the entire time, it was an absolutely beautiful attraction!!
Thanks for watching Chad!! Tokyo Disneyland did have a lot of similarities to the US parks but man, DisneySea - that was a whole other story, that park is EPIC!!
Thanks so much for the kind words - we had a great time and are happy to share it! Overall, we booked the entire Japan trip ourselves. We booked flights first, then plotted out our time booking our various hotel stays. I love trip planning and doing all of the research, so that's half the fun for me. We booked all of our hotels directly and they all had super easy-to-use English language websites. Booking the Disney Vacation Package is a bit more intense because they release a whole month of availability at a specific date/time like four months in advance. And there are many steps. But the English version of the Tokyo Disney Resort website is fantastic. Also, in our Japan Playlist, we did two videos about trip planning - one around planning the Japan trip in general and one specifically about the Disney portion and the Disney Vacation Package. Hope that helps and good luck - hope you make it to Japan sometime as it's an incredible destination! - Ryan
Escaping though your videos this week! There are so many fun unique touches. So much fun to see how people love the characters so much that they wait to see the parades. The crowds are such a highlight. I’m jealous you got to spend so much time at the parks and got to include not just Disney sea but Disneyland as well. The Baymax ride is on my bucket list and we will be back again to do Disneyland as well. The theming is so special at Tokyo parks. Can’t wait for all the hauls. I am glad you liked the maple snacks- considering you are Canadian and therefore maple experts!!!!! Keep the videos coming!!
Hi Hannah - thanks for checking out our video, we really appreciate it! Agree completely, the level of detail and the unique touches throughout the parks make them so special. Honestly, seeing guests dressed up blew my mind. The costumes all must've been homemade and the details were incredible. Looking closely at multiple different Belle's (for example), you could see that the fabrics and certain elements were all subtlety different. It's not like the outfits came from a department store ... everything was completely bespoke and custom! And yes, the parade dedication was impressive to us ... people camped out for hours and hours. You'll have a great time on the Baymax ride when you're in Japan next :) The videos will indeed keep coming, the rest of our trip was really incredible as well and DisneySea in particular was a highlight. Thanks again - hope you're doing well! - Ryan
What an incredible day! I have to agree with your highlights - the beauty and the beast ride and the electrical parade looked incredible. Tokyo Disneyland is on another level with their theming. The hotel room looks gorgeous too! Loved how dressed up everyone gets. Those are my people!! Can’t wait to see more. Loving this vlog series you guys 😍
Hey Jenn, thanks for watching and welcome home! Loved seeing little glimpses of your trip on insta and we're super excited for your vlogs! Yup, those highlights still hold true - the ride was really stunning and so completely immersive ... and the parade was jaw-dropping (and I'm not a big parade guy at the best of times ... but this one was different!). The costumes that so many guests were wearing was another highlight. Looking at them up close was wild ... they're clearly not store bought, completely bespoke and custom. Just wait till you see us in DisneySea ... that park is truly remarkable (and I hope it comes through in our vlogs). As always, thanks for your comment! - Ryan
Gosh I loved this vlog so much! I can’t wait for the rest! I’m so intrigued for all your thoughts on Tokyo and how you booked and handled language barriers and such if you guys are planning on doing a video like that! Also the room is INSANE!! So cool and detailed! Wow!
Hey Katelyn - thanks so much for watching and for your comment! Glad you enjoyed this video! We're even more excited about the vlogs from the rest of our Disney days. DisneySea in particular was such a highlight. Honestly, I teared up a few times along the way simply for how stunning the place is. We definitely want to do a post-trip wrap-up video where we touch on the things you mentioned. After we had our dates and booked our flights, we started filling in hotels, booking each one directly (they all have great English-language websites). Booking the Disney Vacation Package specifically was a bit intense as you have to make all sorts of selections up front. And they release a whole months of availability on one day, like four months prior (ex. I think all of October was available to book at like 5 AM Japan time on May 5th ... and they do sell out in a day or two). Again though, the English version of the Tokyo Disney Resort website it great! The language barrier did exist ... but it didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves and it didn't really make our lives difficult or anything. Navigation is easy as all key signs are in English as well, everywhere. Food was easy too. And conversing with Cast Members at Disney was still incredible - everyone is so sweet and so eager to help you. Knowing just a couple key Japanese phrases helped too and everyone really lit up when we made an effort to attempt a few words here and there. It's amazing how much you can still communicate even if you don't have any common words. Thanks again for watching .... by the way loved your trip wrap-up as well as your thoughts on the Riviera over on your Podcast :) _ Ryan
Hey Loren - we had a great time indeed and it was an epic start to our time at Disney in Japan. We're really excited about our DisneySea content in particular - it's such a unique park and we absolutely loved it. Hopefully it comes through and results in entertaining content! - Ryan
It was sooo amazing!! But spoiler - the second park (Tokyo DisneySea) is even BETTER 🤩 Hope you make it there someday, Disney and Japan in general was truly wonderful!! Thanks for watching, Sara!
I have about 10,000 thoughts but I’ll try to keep it short. 1. OMG!!! This is just amazing!! 2. The park seems bigger than WDW. 3. I remember stitch in our Tiki room. 4. Beauty and the beast was beautiful 5. I’m obsessed with the parade. Can not wait to visit here!! Great day yall- mari
Heheh! It might have been bigger 🤔 I'd be curious. I didn't know Stitch used to be in the US Tiki! Beauty and the Beast is seriously good, like AMAZING. And that parade - so gorgeous. You and Michael will love Tokyo Disney, it was really special 🩷🩷
Lots of great vantage points to enjoy❕❣✨ I think the Electrical Parade was my fave.⚡😍 Thank you for making a lot of effort to share your experience. 👏💖😊

Thanks so much for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed it, it truly was a dream!! 🤩
Great vlog! I loved seeing all the familiar rides but having them look a bit different. Super cool!
Thanks for watching Chad!! Tokyo Disneyland did have a lot of similarities to the US parks but man, DisneySea - that was a whole other story, that park is EPIC!!

Oh ya! It was sooo good!!! Thanks for watching, Meg!!
I used to go there at least one a month when I lived in Japan.
Amazing! It's such a gorgeous park, I can see why you went so often. Thanks for stopping by ☺️
Love the video. Hope to visit there sometime. How did you book?

Absolutely AMAZING! Crap now I have to add somewhere to my bucket list 😂
You should definitely try to make it to Tokyo, the 2 parks were something special that's for sure - especially Tokyo DisneySea 🤩
