Hello! I needed to get a few feelings off of my chest and I hope a few of you can relate to and enjoy it; Music is an amazing way to vent out emotions so thank you for bearing with me a moment!

I nearly cried during this song, as I'm currently thinking all these thoughts on a slightly lesser level, I know how this feels and I understand the thought process. After losing alot at pushing the help away I'm starting to think I can't fix it, but I hope that at least YOU can, and anybody else going through this too.
I'm not sure if that made sense, but I'm sure it will to somebody. Anyway I wish everything works out nice in the end.

Oh my dear!! I’m so sorry any of these things has happened.. And from what I’m hearing, I’m sorry that your parents/guardians has said such things. I have had some similar situations, and I know it’s so confusing when you are young and knowing it may be wrong, yet still you don’t know what to do.. at least from my experiences. And I’m glad you were at least able to sing this to yourself for so long, I’m glad you were able to vent it out through your art- and I’m very very proud for you to be able to actually emphasize it to the world, that was a VERY brave action. These things are very hard after all- but I’m so so happy you went on and were able to make so many great songs along the way, seriously, I’ve been going back and forth to listen back to *As Above So Below* for the past seven months- you are great! And I know I may be wrong with a lot with what I’m saying- and I don’t know you personally, but I still feel obligated to try to fill you with the warm words and support! You absolutely deserve it all. And- a side note, which I don’t know if this was supposed to be intended- but I realized “SOSorry” looks more like *S.O.S* in the beginning, like a saying of help which somebody else in the comments stated- and honestly it does seem like you really did need help during those times. Which I’m saying it like that because when you wrote “dust is settled” I couldn’t tell if it meant it’s all sorta over, at least a bit, because those memories still leave a mark on you, trauma and tragedy don’t just easily no longer haunt you in just a bit of time? It effects you and maybe how you even act at times. But- either way, you DON’T need to say sorry. It was NEVER your fault, honestly if it’s true your guardians didn’t help- its on them. And I don’t mean to say they are ENTIRELY bad, it’s just from what I know- because I have a pretty funny, humorous and for the most part kind set of parents! ..but that doesn’t keep them or at least ONE of them from calling me a terrible word like “retarded”. Though, obviously of course, I’m sorry any of these things happened at all. You never deserved it, you never should’ve said sorry, it was never your fault or in your hands to control. I’m sorry this was long or was too personal, or too wrong, or awfully terrible to say in any means about your parents/guardians, or anything that could have offended you by any means or circumstances.

I was thinking about why the song is so...upbeat? It's so poppy. I'm definitely pulling from my own experience here but...I know from the way people describe anxiety at its worst it sounds like something you can never get used to, and people who haven't lived with it think that's the worst part, but this is the worst part: you DO get used to it. Like a toothache, you just learn not to chew on that side of your mouth (because you can't stand the thought of going back to the dentist.)
And then something happens, you get a chance to think (and this is why you can't think, that's why the song is so lively and alive) and you realize how much space the fear is taken up, and then you realise you can't remember when it wasn't there. The song STARTS with the anxiety nightmare, it started while the damage was already done. I've had the same "GOD, DID I DO THIS?!" moment.
So...yeah, maybe anxiety can be pop music.

I didn't think I could relate to this song, but wow there were definitely parts to it that made me think otherwise. The part about the parents was what I thought about the most because of my own life. While it's not an exact situation, it's still awful one to hear.
But, I don't want to leave a negative message for one to read. I do want to say that even if you didn't turn out ideal to what you thought you'd be like, you still turned out to being a talented artist and have had multiple successful videos within your own channel on youtube. Not everything is great in life, but hey, we can always find something to look forward to. Right?
If you ever find yourself in a dark place, I feel it may be best to try and look for something to work towards, and to have support from family and friends. Working towards a goal could perhaps help and give a sort of joy in what you may be doing, especially when you complete the goal. With help from others, you could always have someone to speak to or fall back on so you aren't alone. Another thing is to try and find any sort of positive meaning in something.
I know sometimes it's hard to get help, especially in a professional sense, but smaller steps can always lead you to somewhere better. Just don't stop walking.
I'm so sorry for a long message, haha, I always tend to wanna help or something when it comes to serious situations.
You're a helper, it's okay! And yes - I'm learning to focus on the good this year and to always have little attainable goals to strive towards. There's so many good resources online that have helped. I have always enjoyed these types of songs. Songs that share a heavy message, but the way the music plays almost acts as a mask is tries to hide. I really think it is very clever.
